Do not trust Very offers! Ordered IPhone 6 in December when Very had 10% off apple products. They have not taken the 10% Off. They are now saying it wasn't on that phone. Well it was! I have had an e mail today with the same offer. I phones are on it. If you get sent a discount code they do not apply it. It always has to be chased up. Once my phone is paid off I shall close my account. They are not worth the hassle.

Very bad and rude customer service from the call center based in South Africa, very misleading and extremely poor service. I will report all of my concerns to the BBC watchdog service/office of fair trade and lastly their chief executive officer Alex Baldock and all their board members. Experience with very was extremely stressful.

Ordered a HP laptop, and for some reason received 2 calls for verification. After second call my ordered showed declined.. When asked they said check with my bank. Called my bank and bank confirmed that they have authorized my transaction. When called back to Very they said the person is on holiday and call when he/she is back and gave me the number of that person.. And before the person comes from holiday laptop went out of stock.. Disgusting looks like they don't need customers. Never ever gona buy any product from Very.

The more I read the comments on here the more I realise that my son should not have placed an order for a bed from very !! They should not be allowed to treat customers the way they do . I advise people not to use their website!!!!

One of the worst worst customers service I ever had Nearly 2 month still they didn't refund my money back Every single week I called them to refund my money back but still waiting Pls don't buy anything from this company

This custom service is no good keep getting through to South Africa call center They do not know what they are doing I shall be closing my account asp Maggie Do not shop with this co.

I would never order from very ever again I order done Bunkbed witch they took a month for delivery then when I got them they was damage and marks missing so I've b trying to make a complate for 3 weeks and I'm getting no were they will not send me the parts or a new set and every time I phone up I'm getting told different thing its shouldn't be like this

Been a very customer for 5 months.£600 credit limit .Bought some items and have paid my bill on time. Ordered a steam mop for £60, then my account suspended. It says get in touch.Why? Not a very good customer service. Will pay off my bill and will go elsewhere. This company is a joke.

I've had an account with very since 2014 and since 2014, every time I order an item for home delivery, there is ALWAYS some big drama. I specifically ask drivers not to leave my items with neighbours because they don't leave it with neighbours, they leave it wherever the hell they like. Let's make it worse by the fact that when I phone up customer service to explain the issue they simply ask "did you check number" wherever the item was left, no I didn't because that isn't my neighbour! I'm sorry but when did delivering to anyone on your road (or estate in my case) become equivalent to delivering to your neighbour? My neighbours are on my left and my right, everyone else comes under the header of "people who live in my area" which means I don't know them or where they live (he could have delivered to some random person visiting for all I know). Then, rather than evaluate their courier and decide whether it's more beneficial to use a different courier, they tell me to complain to the courier about my.experience... for what benefit? Thankfully yodel are appearing a little more on it and have made a note.against my address for all future deliveries but hear the funny story. I complain to yodel, they tell me they've never received instructions from very regarding my.delivery. I phone very and magically my instructions re: neighbours and parcels has disappeared. I'll.leave you to make your own conclusions about what happened there but as soon as I possibly can I am closing my account with these crooks who clearly don't care about.their reputation as a mail order company

Bought a lovely bunk bed for my daughters but the colour is totally different from the picture & description. Really disappointed because I ordered the rest of the furniture hoping it would be similar. I double checked to see if it wasn't me who ordered it wrong but it wasn't, the dark wood bed they've sent me is only supposed to come in white or pine.

Terrible customer service. I had to make several phone calls to Very and the manufacturers to get an item which was delivered faulty, replaced. Got to wait 14 days for a refund but pay up front for a replacement because they said I hadn't got an account although, I was asked for my account number at beginning of phone call! Everytime I phoned I had to explain the problem (why don't they make notes on the system to stop this). Just when I thought it was sorted, I checked my confirmation to find they'd exchanged the wrong item! Another phone call and full explanation to another person and I'm getting quite stressed. This is NOT the way to deal with customers. I would give NO stars if I could.

Agree with every comment on here regarding terrible customer service. Not 1 reply to lots emails,telephone calls and letters complaining of order never arriving. Closed account and would never use again

Without going into the full details of my problem with Very...i can tell you that after 6 attempts (phone and email) the issue is still ongoing. They have completely ignored any questions I asked, including 2 requests for info on their formal complaints procedure. Do not deal with these people, they couldn't care less about their customers. I suggest that anyone who has had difficulty in dealing with them report them to the consumer ombudsman to make it official, and let people know how bad they are!!

Where do I start... This whole experience has been draining to say the least. Sit back, get a brew and think twice before using Very. I called up on the 19th of February to pay off my account in full. The total was £574, Very took £1,148 and left me overdrawn and penniless. When I raised this issue the first time the agent had no idea what to say to me and when I asked if I could speak to a manager I was told 'there is no manager around'. Now I find this very hard to believe and working for a well known Energy company recruiting customer service representatives, I am fully educated on how a call center operates so this only angered me more that I was being fobbed off. When I pushed further for to speak to a manager he then went to tell me 'well if you are on hold for a long time it's not my fault' I don't think I need to highlight too much how disgraceful this level of service was considering the position I had been placed in. Clearly not getting anywhere I waited on hold for a manager. She eventually came on the phone where I was told there was nothing she could do and that it would take 24hours to go back into my account. Usually un-genuine apology, at this point I have little faith that this is going to happen but have no choice to give them the benefit of the doubt. 24 hours later...I wake up on Saturday morning with a busy weekend planned after a hard week at work only to find out that A) the money hasn't been returned and B) they have taken an additional £40 from my account. As you can imagine I was fuming at this point and got straight on the phone to them. The agent answers....its him talking in the background to his colleague...me 'hello, hello, HELLO' nothing, still talking away. Took him all of about 3 minutes to relise I was on the phone, no apology. Great start to what is going to be a difficult conversation. I asked him to look at my notes on my account...yep, you guessed it...NOTHING. This is now the 4th person I have spoken to and not one of them including a manager has made any notes on my file. Shocking service. I find myself repeating the same story for the 4th time by which the agents response was 'Oh Gosh, that's a lot. This happened to me actually but I got my money back straight away so I'm not sure why you haven't'. Seriously, are you joking! Told me the same story it would be back at some point today...yeah right, sure it is. I decided to leave it a few more hours, by this point I have wasted my whole Saturday as I have no money to do what I originally had planned. Thanks Very. When I finally call back and talk to the 5th agent who surprise surprise has no idea why I am calling (again no notes) she transfers me to the payments team. Now this is where I was told that all of the previous 5 people (including an employee from the social media team) have told me in-correct information on a catastrophic scale. The money won't be back in my account with in 24 hours as promised by 4/5 of the staff members I had spoken to BUT 10 days!!!! I asked to speak to her manager only to be put on hold for her to come back to me to say 'my manager won't speak to you as he wont say anything different to what I have already told you' I was completely shocked and appalled at this lack of responsibility and ownership. 10 days they think is an acceptable amount of time to leave one of their customers with no money and now severely over drawn. Un-able to put petrol in my car for work and food on my table. Completely disgraceful and utterly un-acceptable. This was their mistake. I fully expect to be offered compensation for being put in this upsetting and stressful situation due to the failings and in-competencies of several members of staff across three different departments including one manager. Thanks a lot Very, you really have out done yourself.

Would not recommend this company for large items as twice I have order large/expensive items and both have been dreadful experience. No customer service. Impossible to get through and when you do, they can't help.

Be very careful when taking out a Very account. As a new customer, I purchased an item on the buy now pay later deal to later find out that after the first months credit report with this account I have been marked with a late payment. I was told it was a mistake and the account was not set up with the buy now pay later deal and I now need to make a payment to clear my arrears. I have now been told my account is set up the way I requested initially but the late payment is actually a delivery charge. So be careful and make sure you don't miss anything because there's no second chances or room for mistakes with new customers.

Horrible, Horrible Customer Service. I purchased a laptop with the Office 365 Bundle. Upon recieving my laptop 2 days later than the delivery date i immediately noticed it was not issued with the Office 365. I got on the phone to customer service and the first of 9 representatives was just WOW. Her response to my query was 'what do you want me to do' to which i in shock replied 'your job' after which she read my product description and tech specs in response of my query. In frustration i thanked her for the 16 minutes of premium call time from my phone time which she interupted and "kindly" reminded me it was 12 minutes. The chase up went on for 2 weeks and 8 stressful phone calls with constant promises from very to call back which never happened. After 2 weeks, a hefty phone bill, anxious waiting, rude advisors i finally found one representative who told me that my purchase didn't include Office 365 to which i outlined that on my order and online it DID and maybe due to correction on the website no longer states it and was willing to provide my order but still was not willing to assist me any further. Moral of the story, stay clear of Very if at all possible.

I've been with very for a number of years now and I've always been impressed with there reasonable prices and finance deals, especially the buy now pay later which is fantastic. However today I closed my account as I found there customer service team extremely unhelpful. I paid the remainder of my buy now pay later a day late as I was in hospital watching my baby be born on the day that it was due to be paid ( I thought remembering to pay a day later was quite good all things considered). However the payment was a day late and they said there was nothing they could do about it, I owed £98 and they ended up charging me £95 on top of this for paying 1 day late, if I was a serial offender I could understand but this was a one off and I feel my reasoning for the late payment was a just one. I paid what I owed and closed my account. It's a shame really because I love what they offer but if they can't look after me then I have no interest in giving them my money.
