The lady on the phone was extremely rude and came across very patronising she also didn't explain the reason why she was calling

They advertise as having s tall section. All in 22 apparent choices. More than half of their supposed collection is sold out and anything they do have leftover is available in size 8 or 22. (WHY BOTHER!!!!!!)

I tried to call today to allocate a payment and the woman that answered the phone seemingly couldn't hear me so I called back to the phone being answered to 3 women hysterically laughing down the phone and then got hung up on so I thought I would try one more to be cut off! Very frustrating and such rude people working for very as soon as I have made my last payment I will not be purchasing anything from very again because of the way I was treated!

Very customer services is non existent. It's true they cut you off. the managers don't come to the phones if u ask to speak to one. I've had no joy with them trying to help resolve my enquiry because they don't attempt and don't answer to any of your questions asked,no empathy no apology given either. the staff aren't well trained or competent and I don't understand why all phone calls are recorded when they don't give a damn about in the manner an advisor has dealt with your enquiry and they don't take complaints seriously. I work in a call centre it's come in the top 5 in the uk for customer service. very isn't customer focused. They don't attempt to re-gain the trust of a disappointing customer. I think they are going down hill and the staff used could be outsourced so it's cheaper labour. This is why they aren't trained and coached and developed like most other uk based call centres. Maybe that's why very don't take matters seriously. they certainly don't treat customers fairly.

I wish I have had read the reviews here before buying anything from them. Never experienced this bad customer service anywhere else. If you have any query and call customer care they will cut your call in between and would never give any satisfactory answer. Dont buy anything from them, best spend 2-3% extra somewhere else.

Void this comppany and safe yourself from headache!! This comppany sent me a sofa without legs, due to decorating didn't check, till months later, informed them about matter, and instead of the lovely quality wooden legs in the picture, they sent me cheap pieces of plastic that would not hold a chair up, least a heavy quality leather sofa, what a joke! Due to trying to fight over this issue my account has turned in a very bad state considering thy over charge when you don't pay over time, and this is all due to the sofa!!

I just want to warn everyone here - please save your time and money and never shop at Very!!! This company officially classifies by all definitions as FRAUDSTER COMPANY! You will never see your refund again if you return your items in a timely manner and the customer service will never reply to your questions or complains ldespite promising to do that witin 5 working days. LIES!!! I still do not understand how they are still allowed to operate. My story is quite simple - dress did not fit so I returned it back the same week using collect plus. Tracking number says they have received my return long time ago. 3 weeks later - still no refund. And of course within 5 working days customer service did not reply. Moreover customer service did not bother to reply at all. Same day using same collect plus I have returned other items to other retailers and they refunded me long time ago. Long story short if they do not reimburse me I will be seeking legal advise. This company is clearly misrepresenting the information and mistreating their customers. This is illegal what they are doing and I will make sure they do not brush it off under the carpet this time

Everything went wrong but the worst thing by far is their customer service team. Their reputation clearly doesn't matter at all to this company. They address you as if you are 1. At fault, 2. Stupid, 3. Wrong, 4. A nuisance to them, 5. A liar etc, etc, etc. The company has a new CEO. I really hope he cares enough to do something about this so that customers don't continue to treated like scum

As you will see from my buying history I have ordered the Amelia sofa bed. The first time it arrived the back was broken. I called to return the item and I had the 'pleasure' of speaking to your South African branch who were very unprofessional and I came off not trusting that she did the refund. I called a couple of days later and was right no refund had been processed or return collection and they forgot to mention that I need to speak to the upholstery department. I talked to the upholstery department who did the necessary changes and said that the delivery company will be in touch. They never got in touch, I had to call them (35 mins on hold) to make sure collection and delivery on the same day. They didn't offer a Saturday which is actually when I started loosing my patience as every time I take time off work I don't get paid as I am a temp. So the new sofa got delivered and faulty sofa collected on Friday. It was about 30 mins after the delivery guys left that I realised the arm rest was snapped in half. I spoke to your customer services person on Friday. My biggest issue is I would have to take another day off for collection which I just can't afford to do again. She spoke to the delivery company while I was on the phone and they said they do Saturday deliveries but I must call tomorrow I called them (30 min wait again) for them to tell me they don't have any Saturday's available for the foreseeable future. That's the end of conversation and was told there was nothing at all they could do to help. So I called you back and I was then faced with one of your 'Customer service' reps. I simply stated the fact that Very should feel obliged to help and at least try and see what they can do about Saturday delivery. His response was what makes you think that you are special why should you be considered over other people....tell me why you are so special? I was upset but I never spoke to him in a way that would be deemed as a personal attack which is what he did to me. I have taken two days off work to receive goods which arrive faulty not that any one at Very cares because apparently I'm not special...Then to top it off he started to question me about how your delivery service works. Does your employees not know how the goods they are selling is being delivered! It was obvious by his remarks and asking questions but at the same time not listening to my answers that he was trying to catch me out and prove that the delivery service is not as inconvenient as I make it out to be. I don't know his name but I made the call at 09.37 Sat 25th if you would care to investigate. I personally don't blame the delivery company as my transaction is not with them it's with you! you can't just take people's money and wipe your hands off them and push responsibility on a 3rd party. The delivery company didnt even apologise for delivering the items in the state that it is. You clearly don't have a good service level agreement with them. I don't believe that they don't ever have a Saturday free for a collection of goods that they delivered faulty, twice!

What went wrong.... Everything! Delivery was late, damaged parts. Replacement being sent apparently! One month on and no parts. A wardrobe still in pieces. I've phoned them 5 times totalling 1 hour 49 mins... £49.60 charges on bill. No one responds. Online complaint form has been ignored. They simply do not respond. Unless what you order is perfect and have no problems.... You'll be fine. If something is wrong... Oh dear!

So annoyed I ordered a wardrobe and a glass Chester drawers. Firstly the delivery company deceied to cancel the delivery of my wardrobe for some unknown reason. But this has now been sorted after finally been sorted after demanding to speak to a manager. Secondly I took my glass Chester drawers out of the box to see a massive crack. I'm really not happy... I'm fuming

Everything is wrong with this company. Goods arrived 3 months late, broken, wrong colour, no money back and disgraceful customer service. Obviously no regard for reputation..

I haven't even received my order yet despite waiting in on 2 seperate occasions when delivery was supposed to come from yodel! I have lost time at work and spent a fortune on phonecalls and still have not been given an answer-appalling company!

Unbelievable experience with very/little wood first they gave me credit and after I placed the order they said sorry but we can't give you credit,because of previous tenant they bloody turn my credit down, what is my foult? I am not bagging them to give me credit but they are big time waister,

Worst customer service ever ,based far East Phillipines Etc ,CLOSED my account after approx 2 years ,they will still try to take payments from your account even when paid in full one month earlier ,CANCEL direct debits with you bankers immediately ,Please DO NOT set up accounts with this company ,AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Home delivery - firstly ordered a cooker which they brought and it was damaged so it had to be returned. Also ordered a settee, which they told me to stay in all day for and they never came. Absolute joke.

For some strange reason arrears started appearing on my account,my account was upto date,I even had my niece go over it,she is a accountant,she was puzzled,emailed customer service,what a joke that was,even rang the and I was cut off,Fing joke of a company

Wait until you try to cancel your very account. I rang customer services and they can't do it nor could they put me through to someone who could, I will be contacted within 24 hrs, that never happened so I've e.mailed them and someone will get back to me in 5 days, not holding my breath.
