Horrendous customer service. Send you in circles. Was told by an agent that tge customer excellence team would not talk to me because they were 'too busy'.

Ordered an item, and due to so many personal questions upon registering decided to go elsewhere. Unnecessary, inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable... I just wanted to buy a pair of leggings why do you need to know my household income, who I live with and my dogs name!!!!

I have been sent the same code twice and was assured by the very social media team that once i placed my order they would apply the code for the £30 money off. I trusted there advice and was then told that this code is no longer available. After countless emails to the company and phone calls that do not go through EVER! They do not acknowledge anything being said and just repeat that the code cannot be used! This is beyond frustrating as the order was placed and items given as christmas presents! Absolute worst customer service ever! I have been so frustrated that I have chose never to shop with VERY and have now asked for my account to be closed down. To which no one in customer services even cared!

I ordered a New Samsung Galaxy s2 to give to my father as a present. When I received the product 3 days late the package had already been opened before being sent by very. The Samsung manufacturer Seals were broken, there were finger prints all over the screen, the power cord was all tangled up and shoved back in the box and when we turned it on the battery was already half used. When I contacted Very about this they said that I would need to send it back , even though I was leaving the country in 2 days and would not receive the replacement in time to take with me to give to my dad for his birthday. When I explained this, they told me they could give me £20 back as a 'good will gesture' or that I would need to write in with photo evidence to get a better discount on the used product. I tried to write in but the area of their website to do this was down and now, over 1 month later, it is still down. I also spoke to 3 more customer care advisors, I wrote in to different customer service email addresses from their website and also tried the online 'Chat' option. Each time they would respond up until the point where I sent the email with the pictures and then I would not hear anything more from them. This is the dodgiest company I've ever dealt with and I would definitely advise people to steer clear. USE VERY.CO.UK AT YOUR OWN PERIL or if you don't mind being conned. It is a website of CON ARTISTS!!!!!

Cant access account, rang numerous times of which most of my calls i was hung up on, when eventually speaking to someone i was told it would be passed to I.T and i would hear back within 7 days (i am still waiting even after 7 days). Disgraceful customer service and to add to the issue the customer service is in south Africa so you also face a language barrier to which most of these advisors huff and puff on the phone as though they dont want to be there they also tend to put you on hold a lot so they must be ill trained as they dont know what they are doing even for the simple queries.

The account i opened was closed down due to them finding out i'd been a victim of fraud on my account in the past.. I called them to sort it out and they opened a new account which i wasn't able to log in to.. Made numerous calls to try and sort this out (spending an average of 20 minutes each time before getting to speak to an actual person). The goods I had ordered had been delivered so i just wanted to access my account and set up the 3 equal payments option. Each person i spoke to about this matter told me something different was the problem which sounded much like "I haven't got a clue how to sort this out so i need to find a way of getting this customer off the line, and next time he rings, hopefully he'll get through to someone else who can sort it". Once i was also told "I'll need to pass this on to the technical department, who will be in touch with you within the hour" (2 days later i hadn't heard anything". Eventually (and i noticed a previous reviewer did the same thing) I just called them to pay the amount in full and close the account. Complete shambles of a company, very difficult to contact and speak to someone quickly, and i had very little confidence in what they were telling me. Account closed and i would recommend steering well clear of this lot.. Absolute cowboys !!!

my login details wouldnt allow myself to login.. i cleared my cache. even tried changing dns settings to no avail very didnt even tryto help 3 days on still cannot login called very again. only this time to pay my balance closed the account simple how this company deals with complaints is disgusting no i dont speak south african i am english.. totalu disgusting attitude with so called customer service.avoid this companyat all costs..

I don't ever write reviews but this twopence, unprofessional company has absolutely infuriated me. Im disgusted on how they treat loyal customers. After being overcharged on their website thought it would be a straight forward call but no. After putting a dress in my basket at one price then checked out within minutes the price changes. Was on hold for 25 minutes, first spoke to customer service rep who was no help then waited to speak to a manager and again shockingly was told them same. It seems there has been no training and don't know what is right and wrong. I will be seeking further advice from trading standards!

Customer service is non existent. The only way to contact them is through their call centre based in South Africa where the staff hardly speak English, hold you on for ages and don't return or who hang up if they don't like or understand the nature of your call.

Their customer service is absolutely AWFUL! Their deals/buy now pay later isn't explained in full details on their page so if you are following that option, then call and find out the full details beforehand! 98% of their staff over the phone have absolutely no clue what they are talking about! AVOID VERY IF YOU DON'T NEED EXTRA STRESS IN YOUR LIFE!! Don't get me started with their delivery! ITS ALL A SHAMBLE! I have been waiting to speak to someone about my undelivered item and all I have heard over the phone for the last 10mins is them having a mothers meeting over the phone, no one has replied to my request. Too busy chit chatting and laughing.

This company is the worst I have ever known.There Customer Advisors are a disgrace.I bought a phone from them.I discovered that the phone was locked.I have spoken to many advisors.I have had to pay to get it unlocked.I have now discovered the phone is faulty.I am so angry.Very have never returned my calls.

Customer service is diabolical!... Tried to return a laptop and almost 5 weeks later I still have not received a full refund. First issue was that their collect+ service did work in store as the barcode was not recognised. Second issue occurred when they were supposed to collect parcel from my work. A week after the agreed collection date I had still not received any communication from 'very'. I phoned them and was told that it had been collected and was being processed. The following day my company mail room emailed me to tell me that the laptop was still sat in our post room and had not been collected! Had to phone 'very' back to inform them and arrange another collection. Eventually, over two weeks after the eventual collection, I was refunded money, but not the correct amount! I now have to wait another 10-14 days for the remainder to be credited back to me. What reputable company takes 14 days to credit money back from the point their accounts team action it?? All in all, I have made about 12 phone calls to 'very' to push this refund through. At no point could or would they send me an email to acknowledge our conversations and keep me updated on progress. Shocking service!

So i had to get trading standards involved. Put in a compliant online and was told some- one will contact in 3 to5 days i am still waiting for that call. They dont seem interested only intaking your orders and money .

WHAT A DISGRACE!! Ordered 2 Samsung tab e's as my children's main Christmas presents. My son's camera on his was faulty when rang they said would send out replacement and collect faulty one the next day. Well let's just say that day never came. After arranging 2 more collection days and 45 mins on the phone it still not got collected. I rang back fourth day in a row to be told they won't be collecting as seal is broken on packaging. How can you know if anythings faulty without using it??? I.m not physic. So I have been conned in to buying 3 tablets instead of 2. One which is faulty. Staff are rude and don't speak very good English. Plus they lie to you. What are you running here very a circus??? will not be purchasing anything else they are an absolute joke. please steer clear.

Very.co.uk the worst ever company in the market and I wish that they wipe out of the market sonner than they think they can survive. A money eater company , rude staff , unprofessional behaviour and attitude and worst them all they are unapologetic!! I hope this company suffers loss and come off the market soon..for all the innocent people's hard earned money they have eaten and still eating, it will be very difficult for them to digest for long time. They should be shown in watch dog tv series and the public of UK should be made vigilant.

don't normally write reviews but Very.co.uk have been so bad, I feel the need to warn others to take their business elsewhere. I ordered two sets of draws 3 weeks ago (no mention of long delivery time prior to placing the order). The order was then sent to an external supplier to process and deliver. During the 3 weeks my financial circumstances changed so I decided to cancel the order. I was told it was too late to cancel as the order had been sent to the external supplier but if I refused delivery, I wouldn't be charged....low and behold I've been changed for only one set of draws plus a delivery fee (which makes no sense- they were cancelled on the same day). After FIVE attempts to get hold of someone to get a refund I've been told that I won't be able to get any refunds for 24 days as they need to check the draws for damage!! I am currently arguing with them that I have never seen the draws so even if they are damaged, this will have nothing to do with me and I want a refund ASAP- this is still yet to happen. This company is shockingly unbelievable.

What a shower of shit Very is. I ordered a Tomtom 5200 sat Nav, offered with free Curfer and WiFi, they change my order and send me a 5100 no WiFi and no Curfer offer. They still charge me the same money for the 5200, Just spent the past hour on two phone calls having been cut off the first time on hold for 34 minutes. I ring back and speak to someone in Pakistan or similar, she fobs me off telling me I ordered a 5100, I tell her I know what I ordered and at that point she cuts me off. Account no will be paid off ASAP and closed.... Once you introduce foreign call centres, it's time to sack off online shopping. Credit only any good if backed up with ENGLISH call centre. Merry fucking Christmas Very.
