I needed meds urgently as I was almost out. I placed an order by phone 1st Dec and was told that the prescription would be prepared straight away and despatched upon receipt of the prescription which I sent first class. I was advised Weds 3rd Dec that you had received the prescription and was persuaded to use the express delivery to make sure I received it in good time. The website at that time stated that orders placed before 3pm would be despatched the same day (now changed I notice)! My order was in fact not prepared until 4th Dec and actually not received until the following Monday 8th Dec I ran out of the Prednisolone on Saturday leaving my dog without treatment on Sunday. The cost of the express delivery was exorbitant compared with just about every other online company and again I see that the charge now appears to have come down slightly. After complaining I did receive a refund of the "express delivery" charge. Nonetheless, the overall experience was not good and I will almost certainly use another company in future. ...Howard Partridge Order Ref: 170886

Disappointed with how long delivery took as we had to purchase an alternative food from the shop. Other firms have been considerably quicker.

Cheapest price on the day. Delivery ok. Subsequent orders for drugs/ specialist renal food purchased elsewhere as the prices at Vetmeds is markedly higher; sorry but price and swift delivery are important

My dogs rely on me to provide prescription food and i rely on suppliers to delivery what i order on time. My order did not arrive and i contacted vetsmeddirect twice to be told it was because of black friday and they had been busy. I waited longer and still no food arrived meaning i had to use a substitute food which made my dogs ill. I sourced from elsewhere and wont be returning, i had been a regular customer for a long time but did not get the service i expected and did not get any help when i explained my compliant.

I am always pleased to receive my products and they arrive well packed with a friendly delivery. My only complaint is that I never know which day they will be delivered, I need to know this as I have no alternative delivery address and I have electric gates to keep the dogs in. I am prepared to keep the dogs in and the gates put on to Manual so that the driver can drive in and leave the items under the side porch if I'm not in. It woud be helpful if you could send me an e-mail the night before delivery is due.

Ordered special dog food then after approx 3 days was told it was not in stock (by this time I had nearly ran out of dog food and it was nearly New Years eve) I was offered a refund but did not receive this for approximately 11 + days. I had to find the nearest place who stocked the food and payed well over the odds due to this issue. I then sent an email asking to be contacted about the poor service and received no reply or contact. Very unhappy with the service provided.

I have used your company now for the past 2 years and order renal cat food. On this occasion I order on the 15th Jan. Normally I receive the goods within 2 -3 working days. By Friday 23 rd I had not received my order so I rang to chase it up. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. She said that my order had been despatched on the 19th Jan. She then tracked it and found it was in a depot in Glasgow. I eventually received the order on the 26th Jan. I will use you again as this is not the normal response i have experienced. The order took 6 days to get to me. Delivery company were good (if a little over enthusiastic) at keeping me apprised of delivery status.

I would have said very good but this last order took a week to turn up? I placed the order on Sunday and did not receive the goods until Saturday ?? I order my dog food from you for my diabetic dog and was starting to get panicky luckily I always order well in advance so I did have some left, maybe it was the carrier?

Takes FAR too long to arrive and on this occasion it necessitated a phone call to check when on earth I was going to get my order. Unlikely to be using you again. First time was a long lead time, second time improved, but third was just ridiculous - sorry.

You sent us 8 tins of sensitivity dog food instead of 48 sachets of sensitivity chicken and rice cat food. I have had to call up and get the correct items sent out and have to stay in again to receive the order. Also one of the items I ordered is out of stock. The first order I placed with you was perfect so I don't know how they could have gotten it so wrong this time.

Whilst the quality of the product is not in question the courier service that you use is appalling. Not only did the delivery of the product take far too long, and that was not clear from your website, but additionally we were unable to be certain about any of the delivery arrangements as we kept receiving 'differing' information......despite our doing all of the chasing, including to you.. Frankly the time and cost of our involvement has put us off from using you in the future or recommending you -rather the opposite - to others. You need to sort this or you will lose customers like ourselves

You would have received a 5 star review had I been able to get an answer on your phone line. Every time I call no one answers no one returns calls. There is just a mobile phone message and he never returned a text message as I was becoming desperate! I ended up emailing and getting your dispensary department who were helpful. But once again when I returned their call I couldn't get through. I have tried in total for one week ringing daily and quite frankly gave up. I eventually managed to get the online order to work. By this time I was getting very low on drugs and had to use express postage. Luckily I no longer the human medication for my dog so won't need to call. Very very frustrating!

I have placed at least 3 orders with Vet Meds and I've found the customer service to be shockingly poor. My dog is on chemotherapy drugs so quick responses are important during this critical phase. It's not the same as getting a flea/tick collar a day late - timing is critical! In December I left over 11 messages in a 24-hour period with an answering service and did not receive one call back! And believe me that was not the first time. Also the organization surrounding confirming prescriptions and mailing out caused time delays for us as there was a different person paying v who the prescription's name was under. I probably should have checked but my husband placed the order and I was traveling. Fault on both sides but a 3-day delay was too much and we had to rush to the vet for medication. Again not responding to messages and not returning calls, for me, is wholly unacceptable.

Unusually for your company the delivery on my last order was so very slow,well over a week to get my cat food . your website is wellorganised and easy to use - just a pity about delivery, perhpas myy heavier package used a different courier?

The delivery is fine and the food is fine but its takes a week to get to me, so I have to think a week ahead when I need the dog food..
