I sold a hot wheels car, it was still in the packaging, I sent it well packaged, filled the void and in extra bubble wrap, I took pictures of how I shipped it, unfortunately the package was damaged during transport, so only the packaging and not the car itself. After 7 days this is reported by the buyer, Vinted went to investigate, their message said that I don't have to do anything, after 6 days I received another message that the purchase has been cancelled, the buyer did not want to return it but also wanted the money back, and vinted agreed to this, so the buyer has my son's car and she had the money back, and my son has nothing! It's a small amount but I think this is ridiculous, I just think it's a scam, Vinted has a contract with the carrier so the carrier should reimburse Vinted for this and I should get my money, Vinted literally says that I have to sort this out with the buyer, the buyer no longer responds because he thinks it's all fine, she has my sons money and his car.

Today I went onto my account ( only it wasn’t my account but one with a similar sounding name ) which I found out later . This in itself was odd as I hadn’t logged out . I didn’t recognise my favourites and saw there was £0 in my balance , I had over £40 . When I contacted them , they said I couldn’t have two accounts !! Wtf so they said to delete the one I was on but now I can’t get on to my first account . Thieving bstds why don’t you get your act together and behave in a decent manner . Waiting for them to reply don’t suppose they will . Meanwhile if anyone has been buying anything I can’t respond . Pull your finger out vinted this is appalling

I have purchased a bag £900 and have received a bathroom towel instead. After 3 weeks of discussion with a different customer support agent every time, they have decided to close the case and pay the seller. I have lost the money and did not get anything. Easy one for scammers - no quality/authenticity check.

I sold a pijama, 6 euros, the lady who bought cancelled after few days and vinted reimbursed her, but the package was already sent, I sent message to vinted and to the buyer, to inform about that. So long story short the buyer took my pijama and vinted said that is not their problem, (I sent them all picture and all details regarding the delivery) now that pijamas was 6 euro, but what about a Gucci bag? Or something very expensive?

I bought a running jacket at £10. The seller never posted despite several promises to do so. AVOID shanxmorgan. After several polite messages I said I’d like a refund. Order was cancelled but not before I got a power of abuse 😡

This is about the fourth message I sent to Vinted to attempt to rectify the situation. You will see here exactly what happened, though after this message was sent, my second purchase was cancelled, so I lost out on one of only two things I bought from this company. They have outright refused to respond, even though I have contacted them through multiple places and explained that I have no problem verifying my account a second time, but I don't know why they won't accept my phone number. My number of perfectly legitimate, I use it for both business and personal calls and have had it almost two years through T-Mobile's business accounts. Here is the final(probably 4th) message I sent to Vinted, which they ignored along with all the others: "This is my final attempt to rectify this situation. I made two purchases and was then hit with a warning about "suspicious activity." I suppose the suspicious activity of making purchases through your service? I asked what the "suspicious activity" was, you won't tell me. You want a phone number to confirm - I have provided two of them and you won't accept either of them. Do you REALLY think I'm going to go out and purchase a new phone in the hopes that you'll accept whatever number I get? You expect me to buy a new phone line just to spend money on second hand clothing? I've contacted you multiple times and you have flat refused to help me in any way. You've only told me to provide a new phone number - I DON'T HAVE ONE. If my T-Mobile phone number isn't good enough for you then I don't know what to tell you at this point, I'm sure not going to buy a new phone or install a new line just for your store(and which you will more than likely arbitrarily deem "invalid" with no explanation, as you've done twice now). The saddest part is, I have a seller, whom I made a purchase through, sending me messages, and I CAN'T REPLY because your company randomly decided that me buying from you was "suspicious" and my legitimate phone numbers are "invalid." You know, the same phone numbers associated with the credit card that you had no problem running? So I have NO IDEA what this seller is saying to me or if it's important, because I can't see messages because your company is pulling this random stunt. Amazing how you have no issue pulling money from my card but you have an issue with everything else. Funny how that works. At this stage this is my last attempt to reconcile this (rather ridiculous) problem. As a newer company somewhat struggling for membership, driving people off for no reason, and refusing to even give a reason, after a single purchase is a rather odd business strategy. Even odder since you certainly don't need legal trouble at this time, and if I find any issues with my card, and do not recieve the items I paid for, I will be filing reports with the FTC, FCC, BBB, and possibly consulting a lawyer. All I've asked is for you to either verify the valid number I'm using, or offer some explanation as to what the issue is. At this stage, I have contacted you at least three times through three different places, and you have staunchly refused to offer any assistance on the matter, simply reiterating that my purchases were suspicious and that you need a phone number. The fact that I provided two numbers which were refused for no given reason was never addressed."

Buyer protection is non existent. I bought something which didn't arrive for them to release the fund anyway despite being told I didn't have it. They claimed I missed the deadline when they released the funds the day after I reported it. Customer service is shocking and just told nothing they could do. It's terrible when they give no option to opt out of the cost of buyer protection but then don't fulfil there end of the deal.

Dreadful company!! Avoid!! I have been an honest seller and have completed over 100 sales with excellent feedback. I have now been told that I have reached my withdrawal limit and have to re-verify by sending a photo of my passport or drivers licence. My passport has expired and won't be replaced until April and I don't have a drivers licence. I have £25.35 remaining in my Vinted account which Vinted are refusing to transfer into my bank account. So basically Vinted have scammed me!!

Bought an item which turned out to be fake, confronted seller who became very abusive and threatening. Could not block her and had to continue to receive messages from her. Vinted decided the item wasn’t fake even though it clearly was and I sent lots of evidence and comparisons to genuine Ralph Lauren. Finally after blocking the seller she could then leave me nasty messages in my feedback and got to keep my money! Disgusting!!

Vinted is just a money making scam for dishonest sellers. I purchased an item, but when it arrived it was not the size stated (Significantly Not as Described). I was told to return it (at my expense!). I did so but the seller claims not to have received it. Vinted said I had to wait 18 days!! Then, Vinted refused to refund me instead they paid my money to the seller. I am now well out of pocket. Customer service is DISGRACEFUL. The Buyer Protection fee is just a scam for Vinted to steal money!! Best to buy elsewhere - Ebay gives buyers much better protection!!

SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN. Listed a genuine Off White hoodie, instantly got a message saying not authentic. Proved authenticity and they blocked and banned me. Took days to get a message from a human, and even then it was like exchanging messages with somebody of very low iq. After asking for a manager, I was told the message thread will be removed, I have funds awaiting payout, I wonder if I will receive them. Avoid at all costs. This is nothing more than a scam site.

Stay well clear of ‘VINTED’ i cannot believe this app is still in operation !! My daughter has just been scammed & lost a serious amount of money due to VINTEDS terms & conditions !! How can so many parcels go missing & the buyers allegedly not receiving them, it beggars belief I’ve never known such a fraudulent & corrupt set up in all of my life !!

Fraud. Item was not delivered. Vinted keeps money. Also for the so called buyer‘s safety which is a hoax. After having sent them all evidence such as their own invoice, tracking no., conversation about the deal, transfer of the payment, case number, etc. they state that there has never been a transaction. Will have to go to the police now. Crazy!
