The WORST customer support experience! I was enquiring about a completely different item and issue, but the customer support agent- Ema, went ahead and cancelled a transaction that is still in smooth progress!! Totally unrelated! I have asked for the cancellation to be reverted, but it seems that they don’t understand any languages at all!! They kept coming back telling me something totally irrelevant and so not the issue. I just wanted them to revert the cancellation they did without me asking for it. Almost a week now, i have not heard back from them, and the issue is still not resolved! This is such a bad seller AND buyer experience! It’s even shocking that this type of terrible customer support still exists in year 2022!

OH MY GOD! Cannot believe it, sold a high priced game, buyer reported arrived broken. They sent picture and it showed plastic box cracked, back of game only snapped in bits, back of box unbroken and front cover and booklet that was in front of game in perfect condition. I asked for a photo of the front of the game to prove it was same game broken and that they had not replaced with a cheap game and they refused, and vinted gave them the money back straight away.

They stolen my money with saying I’ve never send the parcel even if I have lots of proof! I lost the parcel and they stolen my money !customer service lie and is useless

I order a dress. But I went to holiday after and Item confirmed as delivered. After a week I collected my parcel from neighbour. Dress had a big hole. I contacted Vinted. They said after item has been delivered I have 48 hours to complain. And they haven’t done anything about it.

I was scammed by a man claiming the football top I sent him was counterfeit. It was not and there was absolutely nothing I could do to resolve the issue. I contacted customer service after he failed to return the top. I was told I needed to send a certificate to say it was not a fake. The label inside proved it was authentic but he said it was fake. He sent lots of abusive messages and harassed me then he got a refund and was allowed to keep the top as he’d said it was counterfeit. When do you ever get a certificate with a football top at the shop? It had all the labels and tags. I assume he will sell it on. Please be aware they say they will help with issues but then enable fraud from the buyers. Thank you Collo1989 for a lesson on why not to use Vinted, hopefully my top you said you are throwing in the bin rather than returning brings you lots of joy and any other clothes I was going to sell will be popped into the charity shop in future.

The company do not have a customer service department their so called help team send standard messages, I uploaded information about my items correctly they mis-advertise them and then won't sent out labels for their return. I have reported them to Trading Standards and I will continue to complaint and pursue them as this is illegal and Misrepresentation.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! All the negative reviews are totally justified. They block your account for ridiculous reasons and refuse to unblock, it or even have a conversation about why exactly it was blocked. For me, they said all my stuff was inauthentic. Not a single item I was trying to sell was fake. When I asked them what items specifically did they think were fake, and what made them think that, they just replied "we think it's fake". No evidence I provided would change their mind. Awful, rude and useless service. Use Ebay and Depop instead.

What is right with this law breaking company? Coming guys if we all took 5 mi s to actually report this company we might get somewhere. This is full of scammers. They buy claim item damaged or lost or not as described and claim full refund and never have to return item. Vinted issue refund on sellers behalf without being notified until after. Seller left out of pocket and buy has items and money.. vinted have no customer service its all autobots! They take days to reply and then won't help. Kazbazzar scammed me.. zero communication after she purchased item. I messaged her twice.. then she said item was damaged and contacted vinted. They told me I had to upload photos to make sure was packaged correctly . Got home went to upload as the photos were on my tablet and bam vinted had refunded... I messaged kazbazzar for my item back and was ignored as well as ignored by vinted... I looked at her reviews and wow top 10 ish are OK then cancelled order after order after order... how is she still allowed to use the site horrible woman... loads more she was just the latest one..

I would not use this company,if there is an issue though vinted's terms and conditions state they will help they will not and make a reason why they can't help, even if it breaks there own terms. I recommend staying well clear of this company and if you have issues going to trading standards.

Omg I have been run ragged with Vinted who I thought were wonderful as an older person it gave me something to do and focus on but what an absolute nightmare it is and I’m selling my genuine Vivienne Westwood bags being accused of selling fake goods ! It seems that most designer goods are actually fake Items stolen from Evri parcels , no tracking just disappears so 2 out of 4 orders missing ! No help from customer service whatsoever it’s a disgrace so be warned !! !

If you received the wrong order or wrong size or damaged goods it is up to the buyer to pay the return costs. If the buyer and the seller can't agree, Vinted will step in and ask the seller to provide a return address and the buyer to pay for the return, providing tracking number which is even more expensive. That's the buyer protection fee: Vinted asking the seller to provide a return address, not a return postage label.

I could give a zero star, but Iicsnt . I zero star!!!!
I was scammed by a seller for £455.The seller was aknolwge me the package come back.
After I was showing the conversation between the seller and vinted on screenshots how I should request refund.This conversation look very real.Im not sure if vinted is not involt!!!!!
I fallow the steps and I lost the money and no bag.
Vinted only apologise and did not even remove the seller-scammer!!!!In the policy says you can get the refund only with extreme situation.
Obviously not this time.
Be careful full of scammers involving vinted.
Bayer protection is not working.
They answering with automatic answers and when real person pick up they saying we pass the 2 days of buyer protection.
I removed myself from this app. Scammers!!!!
Don't buy or sell with them!!!

I was scammed with Vinted and got no support whatsoever - if I can save one person falling into the trap my writing this won’t be in vain I bought a dress for a wedding advertised I initially asked where she lived as it was a meet in person sale - she then offered to send it through Royal Mail free of charge so I paid and sent my address - I was kept in the loop saying they were packing and then a tracking code arrived - it wasn’t until a few days later when the tracking had not left that I realised it had never been sent and the seller had left the site - there never was a wedding dress only a picture - I contacted Vinted and told I need to contact them with three days - even outlining my nightmare did not help - this scammer had clearly done this before to know the time frames My money is list so please please only use postage through Vinted

Wish I could give zero stars. Bent site. Doesn't abide by UK laws. Bought a "new" skirt and it arrived trashed. Both vinted and the seller are saying I need to pay for a tracked postal service to send it back in order to receive a refund. Buyer protection fee I paid should cover scenarios like this. Vinted saying protection fee is for data protection. Data protection should not be charged for, it's against the law to charge to pay for this. Goes against consumer rights act 2015 for buyer to pay to return faulty goods. So seller sends trashed item, I'm £15 lighter and they sided with the seller! Joke of a site full of people selling tat with zero comeback.

This site is garbage for sellers, I have sold items here and I've waited for weeks for payment but NOTHING, I still haven't gotten paid. The buyer has the items for like a week, she didn't confirm until I contacted vinted, which they than contacted buyer, she finally said she received it, and 3 days later shes saying it wasn't what she ordered, so again I didn't get paid and now I'm out 3 items and no payment, after having the item for over a week you would think the buyer would have complained before now, but she waited until vinted contacted her and now Im the one who is out money and items. DO NOT sell on here you will have a lot of issues with getting paid, if you ever get paid that is.

Terrible experience. Seller sent a shabby, torn item. I was refunded then Vinted took the money a few days later customer service is terrible. I want my money back please.

Vinted ripped me off of £8.45 postage fee that the buyer should have paid!! It's in their rules that buyer should cover the postage fee when they bought an item. Since it is through royal mail i have to pay it first before i get back the postage cost. I did not agree to cover it even there's a dispute with the buyer. Beware all sellers!!it is not a trusworthy app/platform. Buyer dispute the item even the description of the item is correct and I sent a lot of photos to her as she requested. She was satisfied and decided to buy. It is a complete ripped off!!! Waste my time, effort of driving to post office, paid parking, paid postage and great communication, and this is all i got. I have all the evidence of postage receipts and conversation with the buyer. Clearly i was on the right. But Vinted decided to refund her all the money. I told them that they should give me the postage fee I have paid and they should only refund the buyer the amount of the item but not the postage!!!.It is a scam!!! They said they will not compensate and i should have chosen other couriers not royal mail.so the buyer will be the one paying first. They should have inform this in the first place for the seller to be aware that we cant get the postage fee back if we chose royal mail!!!! It is in their policy/rules that buyer should pay the postage fees whatever the courier is!!!!!! I was scammed and my money was stolen £8.45 postage fee!!! I still didn't get my item worth £320+ !!!!Chanel espadrilles!!! Pls avoid the buyer under the name of Cass1819!!

I was issued a refund that I have never received I was issued a refund on several items but I have not received it in my bank account for nearly 2 weeks. First, everything is so expensive, as if a pair of second hand trousers cost now £15 from like Primark, leaving that aside the fees are bonkers, sometime I end up paying double for the product. I dislike this so much. I think I am going to stick with charity shops.

Customer service is shocking! They take days to get back to you then reply with an automated response, they keep money and suspend accounts & payments telling you someone will be with you soon but don’t get back to you ! It’s a scam ! You only have to look at review sites to see how bad they are .

on't allow me to take my money out. I have been selling vintage clothing and jewellery in vinted for quite some time, and up until now, have not had any serious issues. I have approximately £170 sitting in my vinted account from a couple of recent sales. But now vinted are refusing to release my money to me until I verify my identity. They say this is a general security measure they do from time to time, although I have never had any problems until now. The issue is, they only accept driving licence or passport. That's it. No other form of identification is accepted. Now I, just like many people, don't drive, and don't travel. So where does that leave me? Trying to contact them is a nightmare, as there is no e mail, Tel number. Nothing. Only their customer service messaging service, which is a hit or a miss if they actually reply to you. If on the rare occasion you do get a reply, it is along the lines of, "Tough. That's all we accept, so you can't get your money." This is money I earned through selling on their website, and they are holding my own money, and refusing to come to any solution with me. Surely not everybody in this world drives or has a passport?! Surely they must understand that, and agree to accept other forms of identification. I have offered my birth certificate, utility bills, bank statements, wage slips. But they won't budge. Surely this is illegal. Anybody got any advice?
