Customer services is an absolute joke and do not stick to their own rules and regulations/terms and conditions. I sold an item on vinted that was electrical. The buyer haggled me on price and didn't pay what I had advertised the item for. They asked me question regarding the item and basked on the question I told them the item wouldn't suit them. After all this, they still wanted the item and told me they were happy to take the risk. Once the item was received, the buyer couldn't figure out how to use the item, I had explained how to and they and wanted a return as they didn't know how to work the item. Vinted themselves state in their terms and conditions that an item cant be refunded or returned if used or if the item doesn't fit or no longer suits the buyer. They also have included in the user terms and agreements that if a buyer haggled on price they aren't covered under the buyers protection fee and it's down to the seller to accept a return/refund, and they also don't deal with issues if the buyer has haggled on price as they're not protected with vinted. The buyer put in a claim to vinted to say the item was damaged (when it wasn't) and vinted are pursuing the claim even though she's not protected under the buyer protection fee, which is against their own terms and conditions posted on the app/website. I've made them known of this several times. I've provided proof there's screenshots of conversation's with the buyer saying they wanted a return as they didn't know how to use the item and not due to damage which is clearly a fraudulent claim, but they brush over all my proof and not listen to what I replied. Two days later the buyer submitted another claim to suggest the item was significantly not as described. I now how two ongoing cases about different issues that aren't apparent. Vinted are siding with the buyer even though I have provided proof through messages and photographs and sent over a reminder (through photos) of thier own terms and conditions. The buyer also didn't approve that they had received the order before she used the item which automatically stops a refund be able to be issued and vinted responding to claims yet they still are. They are also still requesting I accept the buyers return offer which they shouldn't be. Strongly advise to do your research before using to sell as vinted clearly dont know their own rules. I'm not using vinted in the future going forward.

If A could give 0 stars, I would. Absolute scam of a company. Seller scammed me with a fake Pandora Bracelet as per Pandora Manager today. She has blocked me as I wanted to return it to her and Vinted will do nothing!

What is wrong with this company? Why are they letting rogue sellers get away with stuff? Here today, gone tomorrow. Be very careful Vinted and there is only so much people are willing to put up with!

Don’t bother paying the buyer protection fee because Vinted make it as difficult as possible to get your money back if you don’t receive your item and you get a robotic response from customer support. 48 hours to complete a refund form and then they close the sale, totally ridiculous and against consumer rights.

As a hobby I made some earrings and posted them on Vinted. Shortly Vinted blocked my account not specifying the reason. Upon appealing they come back to me saying they found the item ( not saying which item of the 7) being counterfeit. At no point did I mention the name of any brands posting the earrings since as mentioned above these are hand made. Not sure how they got to this impossibly unrealistic conclusion... So I've asked them to review it again and if possible specify the item they have issue with. They just came back to say they reviewed the account and stick to their decision. Not even made an attempt to clarify what's their issue. They really just could have said "we can't bother to actually have a look and have enough users without you. Go to the competition!". Seems that that would have been more honest...

Absoulte joke, sent a jersey out... Was tracked so had proof of delivery on royal mail website. Customer said they had not recieved it, so funds got out on hold for about 20 days and then custoner was refunded, leaving me without the funds or my items. Customer service is a joke. Do not use vinted you will get scammed.

ONE STAR TOO MUCH! Vinted supports scam sellers and if you get caught by one, you are charged as the buyer for the scammers fraudulent sale! There is no customer service, just a bunch of pre programmed robots that couldn’t give a 💩 Damaged handbag sold as being Brand New

Several times lately, Chronopost (the only available delivery mode other than home delivery) has changed the delivery site of my Vinted purchases to somewhere further away. As I have impaired mobility, this is a real problem for me. And there is nowhere to complain about it to Vinted, not the sellers (who are not responsible).

Do not use this company to sell your unwanted items. My experience with these scammers is still on going I sold an item which was delivered to the pick up point in good time 01/12/2024 I was then informed that the buyer had failed to pick up the item in the time allowed & my item was being returned. Moving forward it is now 05/01/2025 & still no sign of returned item. I find this totally unacceptable & needless to say its the last time I use Vinted. I have contacted Trading standards to report my concerns over this who tell me that they have had numerous complaints regarding Vinted.

Awful customer support both as a buyer and a seller. Buyers protection is an expensive scam. SCAM!! 2 parcels have been lost and instead of refunding me because their partner couriers both lost my item anddelivered it to the wrong address, Vinted ‘support’ refuses to help. I’m over £50 out of pocket with nothing to show. Loads of counterfeit sellers in particular Pandora. Buyers protection does diddly squat. I’ve lost over £90 hate Vinted

Can’t login to app, after several attempts I have been blocked with. I further explanations on what I should/can do to unblock my account or more details on when my account will be restored. The customer support pages are not helpful and there are no contact numbers for customer services.

SCAMMERS I sold a PS4 bundle, the buyer reported it faulty even though it’s in good working order even though I’ve literally used it the night before. No notification that they had reported it faulty, they received a full refund and they kept my item. I requested it back several times and asked Vinted for their contact details much to no avail, absolutely 0 support for sellers, easy to get scammed I would not recommend using this service at all. Ebay is way better.

I’m absolutely shocked by what happened. My wife sold a parcel on Vinted to a buyer, who received the item in perfect condition. However, the buyer took pictures of a completely different, damaged product of the same type and claimed that’s what she received. Despite my wife providing evidence and having over 20 five-star reviews across her accounts, Vinted sided with the buyer. They claimed the item is “forbidden” and ruled that my wife won’t get her money or the item back. The buyer had zero followers, no reputation, and still managed to walk away with £250 worth of free hair extensions by exploiting the system. This is absolutely unacceptable. It feels like sellers on Vinted have zero protection, no matter how trustworthy or experienced they are. If you’re considering selling on Vinted, don’t. They do not care about sellers, and this experience has been nothing short of disgusting.

Horrible experience as a seller. My order was not pick up by the buyer and then the package was sent back but was lost. Horrible client service that asked me for a document to be signed to initiate a claim and the same claim was rejected without any further information. There are many compensations for the buyer but none for the sellers. This is unacceptable. Don't sell with Vinted. Horrible experience

Sent a biscuit barrell wrapped in thick bubble wrap surrounded by tisdue paper in a secure box by vinted carrier. The buyer is saying it arrived smashed. Really? They have refunded the buyer but sais its my fault that it was not wrapped properly and will not give me any money which i need. Awful service. Wont even let me complain to cartier. Dont use these scammers. Had problems with this buyer from start.

I will never buy anything again on this scam platform! I bought shoes but didnt get the shoes i ordered. I made a video while opening the package and you can clearly see on the photos and videos that these are not the shoes i ordered.. vinted lets me wait more than a month to tell me now they released the money to the seller bevause they think that i am a scammer.. i lost now my money and got blocked from the app! this customer support is very retarded and does nothing in the favour of the buyer, and the buyer has to pay BuYeR pRoTeCtIoN (this buyer protection doesent exist, it is also a scam from vinted to get more money) Never buy anything on this scam platform, and if i could give zero stars i would because i think nobody at this customer support has a brain cell left ..

I guess they have not qualified personnel in their support service, although your payment always includes „buyer protection” fee. I had an issue with the purchase, sent the request message to the support and then got the first message requesting the proof of the damaged goods during 48 hours, and in a minute I got another one saying that the request is completed and I didn’t upload the proof during 48 hours 🤯 But I got these messages literally one by one at one day! After that the support guy was just ignoring me… I don’t recommend Vinted support service and don’t understand their „buyer protection„ fee.

They're absolute thieves and why ANYONE is still using them is beyond me. I made an order, which I have still not even had proof that it was even sent by the dodgy seller. I was told iy had been delivered but it wasn't delivered to my address as it wasn't there, and my ring device didn't go off. I contacted "support" and was sent a form. It was sent as a PDF which lots of phones don't allow you to fill in forms with. I asked for help and said I couldn't fill in as its a PDF. They didn't bother to help and released the money to the rude, horrible seller. Inwas in hospital during all this so couldn't get home to print it off and do it. But they haven't even issued me any evidence it was delivered and where to. Ive since tried to get somewhere, but get nowhere. They're an abhorrent company. They are uncaring, unpassionate and unsupportive. They're refusing to give me any evidence of where it was delivered and refusing me a refund. I think anyone who uses Vinted needs their head examined.
