Very expensive glasses compared to Tesco old brand waited 2weeks as well

Hi, thank you for sending the glasses they were received in time however they don’t seem to be of the right power - seem over powered as I am not comfortable wearing them and reading is blurry. It seems that the distance and near power gradient may not be right. Not sure what is the issue and what to do now?

There glasses are really expensive don't have much of a choice to choose from suppose to go about April for my yearly eye test won't be going there no more

Staff at the Hampton branch at Peterborough excellent to be fair nothing was too much trouble. My problem is my plain reading glasses are fantastic but I have issues with my bi focal pair. I have to hold anything I wish to read much closer to my face than with the previous pair. It’s like they are a different prescription. It’s annoying because I wanted to bi focal as my main everyday pair. I have used vision express for many years but tempted to go elsewhere next time. No reflection on the branch staff they were brilliant

Vision Express in Lichfield has been my regular opticians for years. They have always been very friendly and proffessional, particularly the optometrist who has been there for about 19 years. I have just paid over £800 for my 2 pairs of existing glasses to be reglazed with varifocal lenses. I visited the store this week to collect both pairs and upon being seated at a desk was surprised to see literature advertising a half price offer on the very lenses that I was being fitted with that day. When I questioned this I was told that this was a new offer and could not be applied to me. I asked to speak with the manager but she was out. Whilst I appreciate that there needs to be a cut off date, I did feel that an adjustment might be made as I had not even taken the glasses off the premises and bearing in mind my longterm loyalty {and my husbands} at no little expense over the years. If they can afford to make this type of offer maybe they are charging us too much in the first place!!
