Appalling company and customer service Ordered a pair of glasses on 18/09, received a confirmation email on 20/09 and after a week glasses haven't been dispatched yet. Contacted the customer service several times and got random answers including " you should receive your glasses today" 26/09. Considering they haven't even been dispatched it seems "tricky" to receive them today... Service is really terrible first for not being able to deliver a simple order after a week and second for the customer service not knowing what's happening in their company with customers' orders. Horrible experience...

Twice I’ve been to vision express and seen a male Optometrist. I went because I felt as though my eye sight had changed. Both times waited longer than 15 minutes as he was too busy chatting to colleagues. He said that they were fine and hadn’t changed. I went back 3 weeks later as I couldn’t see well through my glasses and had headaches, and luckily got a different Optometrists who told me my sight had changed from -2 to -2.5. Both appointments cost me £25. I recently went again, 6 months earlier than my next due appointment. I got the male Optometrists, again, who told me my eyes hadn’t changed and he also didn’t seem too happy with me that I came early for a test? This time I won’t be wasting another £25 with vision express, I’ll be going to Boots. £50 down because of people who can’t be bothered to do their job. I would also like to add a lady was in front of me who had just had an eye test and it seemed as though there was a problem with her eye. The receptionist told her she would need to go to boots to have an appointment with them as vision express couldn’t do anything, probably costing her another eye test appointment too. It seems Visio express don’t have the capacity to complete a full examination.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I oredered some lenses to be fitted on my own brand-new frames. Two months later I still don't have the glasses. I phoned the shop on several occasions to enquire and eventually to request my money back and my frames and still no action taken. Every time I spoke to a different person and they've done nothing about it. My last conversation was with an assistant menager who was supposed to look into it and resolve the issue and call me back to update me but that never happened. Terrible service and customer care at this place and needless to say breaking every possible consumer's rights.

Absolutely rubbish communication been online customer services sent a very emails to them no communication at all services rubbish probably be going some else to have a next eye test done

Staff are clearly under pressure to sell the most expensive lenses and frames possible. Even pushing a more costly eye exam! The Assistant Manager was abrupt to the point of being rude. Overall, terrible customer service.

Attention customers.. Vision Express wanted £400 for the same pair of glasses by Direct Specs who quoted £230. The manager was unhelpful and this is just obscene!

Worst frames ever, even local frames are 1000 times better than this. I purchased frame worth Rs. 5500 which broke in a day, then asked to replaced and they replaced and again the new frame broke in single day. So delicate frames, now a days unbreakable molding frames comes and vision express frames are very bad. Better get from local store or lenskart but don't ever purchase from vision express, worst quality frames they are.

shop like to rip off it customers I in shop today was looking sun glasses I saw for £19 said to the lady are the £19 she said yes, it £19 on the shelf too, then I then I sent down to go over about lenses the price changed to £89 for them the frame without lenses so I said to your said £19 not £89 so she lie to me said you have to give to me at the price but with not this is breaking trading standards law very bad shocking customer service they they was on shelf 19 and she Said they was too I. will face book this and do YouTube and twitter on the matter and google it let other know how not to get-rip off

Horrible experience!!!!!!!!!! Their customer service is the worst. They only care about money not about your satisfaction. I bought a sunglasses for my daughter and it was big, they didn’t let me change after 5 minutes

I had an eye test booked but vision express tesco baldock chose to ring me 10 mins before appt to tell me the optician was off sick and no one else available. A wasted journey. I then re booked and chose frames. received a text to tell me they were ready. I looked on website and saw they were open until 7pm. turned up at 6 to find all closed up and no staff despite prominent notice displayed confirming they should be open until 7pm. The most unprofessional shoddy service imaginable who show a complete disregard for customers. Avoid Vision Express Tesco Baldock at all costs Shelagh Disney

I purchased an extra package of lens outside of my subscription plan and later I realised that they have charged me both in the shop as well as online (for two months subscription payments). I contacted the customer service and they never get back to me to resolve the issue nor to offer a refund. I don't recommend this company.

Waited over 15 minutes for my eye-test. Still no sign of anyone and no-one bothered to apologise or explain that there would be a delay. In the end I left! Vision Express, Basingstoke.

Paid thousands for my sons laser eye surgery, they said it would prevent the need for glasses until he reaches the age of 60. Approximately 6 years later he has to wear glasses again. Vision express say pay thousands more and have it redone ... Outrageous. I was disgusted with their response.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses and spent some time doing so in the petersfield store. My working glasses are fine. I also ordered a pair of sunglasses and spent some time explaining I needed them to read etc. however when they turned up yes I can read but 3 to 4 meters are blurred. I phoned the branch and it was a case of you need long distance but no I don’t as I am fine with that, store response well it’s either long or short. We went round this loop several times and I then gave up , for a total cost of £460 not good at all

I visited Vision Express Oxford St on 24th Aprill. I asked, (I think he was the manager) Mark Jamil, about a certain type of frame and his response was unbelievable rude, sarcastic and arrogant. I visited Vision Express at Swiss Cottage and I wld advice this manager to pay them a visit and see staff behaving politely. So if you do visit this shop in Oxford St , approach other staff for a pleasant encounter and avoid Mr Jamil

they are nothing but thieves, absolutely ridiculous and non existent customer service i was meant to receive a refund when i canceled my contact lenses scheme as they still took a payment from my bank account after cancelling and its been 3 months now I have been emailing them more than 10 times and called them twice and I still haven't received any refund. don't waste your money for overpriced contact lenses here and if they take a payment from you even by mistake they will NEVER pay you back.

Terrible, rude customer service. Have cancelled my contacts subscription and will not be going back at all. Contacted head office who don't even want to know about a complaint.
