I tried to change contracts to a new contract (same service cheaper price) but instead of changing contracts they just cut me off and said it would be 14 days before they could restore service.

UTTER SHAMBLES. My vulnerable 84 year old Mum took out a contract with them for a landline that cuts out on every call. Two months after reporting the problem we are no closer to resolution. TOTALLY HOPELESS, AVOID THEM -NOT WORTHY OF ONE STAR. And to add insult to injury, they continue to take her money despite providing no service....

Vodafone is now the worst supplier of service. I had 3 mobiles, broad band and and two phone lines with them, but due to the broadband being shockingly bad I’ve moved everything elsewhere. I’m now just waiting to move broadband. Worst customer service I’ve ever known. Don’t buy from Vodafone you will be disappointed. Steve G

I strongly suggest you avoid any dealings with Vodafone (incredibly awful company). Provided a WIFI router that doesn't work, followed by over 25 hours of call time over various with with 'WiFi experts' with no tangible outcome and then asked to pay near 300 pounds in cancellation fees. Disgraceful scummy company, stay away.

Having lost my job o asked for a delayed payment date which was agreed but they insisted I set up the payment in my card did the 25th however I was shocked when vodaphone started to charge my card £11 every few days they have taken £33 in a week now and I can not get through to customer services they just direct me to their automated payment service instead do not get involved with this bunch of liars I’ve been a long standing customer for many years and I will not be renewing my contract this time this company is an absolute joke

Vodafone are con artists! You trust the salesmen/women on the other end of the phone to listen to your budgets, requirements and your needs as a customer and every time I am left disappointed. I am a long term Vodafone customer and have never been given a deal that lives up to what I’m told or appreciated as a 20+ year customer. In this current climate I struck a deal as I needed the cheapest contract as couldn’t afford the £50+ packages they where charging me which I expressed. I was offered a much cheaper deal which I was happy with, downgraded my package and my phone too. I’m now finding it’s the worst deal yet, after a year into the contract the rate has gone up £17.63 and is set to still sky rocket, I’m now paying more than what I was previously for the better package and better phone …. I hope Vodafone and the women who served me feel good about themselves, ripping off customers and taking every last penny we have despite reassuring they are doing us a favour and being helpful, knowing full well from the discussion I am struggling to pay what I was so wanted to downgrade for that purpose. I’m in absolute shock that when calling Vodafone to complain and find a solution they then want to charge me £310 to get out the deal and down grade… that was their solution, so still not listening to me. Worst money grabbing company I’ve ever dealt with. Once my contact is up I will be leaving and get a sim only plan else where.

The service provided is intermittent at best in my last two years as a customer. They have been a let down in terms of providing the service they advertise however they did compensate Me for my loss adequately so it's a middle score.

Beware NO ROAMING on basics accounts!! Beware NO ROAMING on basics accounts!! If you buy a vodafone contract you cannot do roaming for any cost. It affects the bacis accounts but I was told that you could roam abroad no problem, it was a wrong! My son went abroad and had no phone, nightmare!!

Horrible People and Horrible Service, they are ruthless and inefficient, you would be crazy to go to them for any of their services. I had a phone we didn't really use but paid for 2 years until the contract ended, then we gave notice and never heard from them again until it appeared on my credit rating a bill of £73 but they had never told me when they had my email, address and phone numbers. Then I had to deal with their VERY rude customer service dept who were not interested in helping

what a disgrace and a total fiasco purposely designed to get money they are not entitled to. I took out a 30 day plan MIFI as moving house and wanted broadband in both properties for a few weeks. I had an email saying my plan ended on 4th June and had paid the month fee in advance. surprised to receive a bill on 5th June for next month. Called them and was told I had to give 30 days notice for the 30 day plan I took out - even though I had only taken a 30 day plan!!! insisted it was rolling so I asked are you saying I take the plan out and on the same day I give my notice - and they say yes that right. what a joke. so I cancel my direct debit, paid by card for the following month (that I didn't need). I then get another bill for the next month. i call and they say I have to pay the full month, as 1 day falls into new billing period, and then one month later plus 22 days I will get a refund for the other 29 days of the 30 days i didn't use as contract cancelled. get this, because I've cancelled my DD I have to call them for the refund after the month plus 22 days as they wont' refund it back to the card I paid with. I asked if i could just pay the 1 day and remove all that nonsense but no! so a 30 days plan for £33 has cost me almost £100. absolutely disgusting service. shame on you vodafone

If only you could give a zero star rating, or minus star rating. Let me be clear it’s not based on speed of the broadband or its equipment or anything that is manufactured. My review it’s solely based on them being a deceptive pack of lying scumbags. Now allow me to clarify, that’s not a disagreement in somebody doesn’t get their own way, I’m talking about them truly lying their backsides off to your face that you can prove I’m at the company they lack the integrity to even bat an eyelid or recognise the absolute parasites that they employ. If being dishonest lying scum was an Olympic sport, then these people would be like China at the Olympics. They would skip absolutely everything and win hands down. Unfortunately the qualities that they possess, really do show them for being the total scumbags they are. I don’t know what’s happened to telecoms companies over the years. We now have an unacceptable behaviour policy in place. But let’s be clear this policy is to protect the lying dishonest unprofessional staff who treat you like dirt to be treated in the same manner they treat you. The fact that the idiots that run the company buy into this BS tells you a lot about why it is so bad. It’s a company for idiots and managed by bigger idiots.

Years with vodafone and not as cheap as other networks on upgrade. Then useless chat to bot the AI chatter, after not receiving promised upgrade call. Then live operator said to me in a live chat [I have the screenshot] that they were happier then me! With a smiley face. Then cut off before I could leave zero feedback score. Please be cautious in these troubled times, felt like sub-human scum after decades of loyalty.

This is the most useful disgusting company I’ve ever dealt with there customer service is rubbish, they just steal there customer, I called them to report there is no signal in my area instead of fixing the problem they offer £10 to shut me up and they don’t want to cancel my contract so i can buy a different sim card, don’t try to use the Complain service as is the same nothing will help, I don’t advise no one to buy or to use vodafone at all 💩

Absolute shambles from start to finish. Renewed contract 4-5 months ago with zone B roaming included. Message from Vodafone confirms the same. Yet every month they overcharge me and I have to enter into a long debate to explain to them zone B is included.

They won't let me rate the customer service I received below 1*. Easily in the top 3 worst companies I've ever had to deal with. 95 days of delays to provide me with broadband. Keep going Vodafone you're nailing it!
