Issues at every step of the upgrade process. I was about to move to a new network to get myself a better deal. Vodaphone's loyalty team offered a discount on the iPhone 6S, so I decided to stay put. Sales rep ok'ed everything with his manager and the order was placed for next day delivery. Great! Next day, phone didn't arrive. Called customer care and they had no record of the order or agreed discount. Wen't through the whole process again from the start and phone was scheduled for next day delivery. Again, no phone the following day. Called again only to be told the order had actually gone to head office to be manually added to their system due to a technical issue, but should be delivered on Tuesday (4 days later). Tuesday came and went with no delivery. Called again. After waiting in the queue, and going through security, I explained the scenario to their rep. Was put on hold while he checked some details, and was then put back into the queue without explanation. Next person picked up. They had no notes or information from the previous rep, and I had to go through the whole explanation again. This time I was informed that the agreed discount wasn't possible, despite being approved by a senior member of staff. Had to re-negotiate for half an hour before we finally settled on a new deal that was miles away from the first one, but fractionally better than their competition. Order was processed and scheduled for next-day delivery to my work address. Following morning, I got the delivery confirmation that my order was on it's way and a tracking link was provided. After checking the link, the delivery address was incorrect, despite the Vodaphone rep reading it back to me correctly. Had to call up again and modify the delivery address, which has offset the delivery date by another day. Should be delivered tomorrow, so here's hoping. ------ On the plus side, their coverage in the Bournemouth area is actually quite good. But the customer service leaves a lot to be desired :/

The worst company i have dealt with. Customer service, unhelpful, ignorant, useless. When they don't know what to say or do, simple, just cut you off!!! On phone for 2 1/2 hours, 6 different departments, 7 different people, 3 different countries. Want to cancel but having to beg for pac code. going to O2, must be better

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY!!! YOUR DEALING WITH RETARDS WHO READ FROM A SCRIPT AND REFUSE TO HELP! EVEN WHEN ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AS PER USUAL THERE IS NEVER ONE AND THEY PROMISE A CALL BACK WHICH YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND AFTER BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 3+YEARS, THEY HAVE SHOWN THEIR TRUE COLOURS. DNT GO WITH THIS PHONE COMPANY!

Worst company ever - how can it take five session lasting an hour each time and three resends of emails to deal with a minor query - which still hasn't been resolved over five weeks now. I am cancelling my phone and going with a new provider...most ridiculous, ineffective customer service ever.

Absolutely disgusting customer services! They promise to call you back but never do. They overcharge, promise things they cannot deliver and then lie about it. I will never use them again. They are absolutely worthless!!!

I have unfortunately opened up a 2 year contract with Vodafone as they had a good deal for data. However the signal is so shocking I can never use any of that data anyway! When i checked the map it showed my area would have 4G coverage yet at home i get gprs and no phone signal most of the time. I travel for work and most places the signal or 4g coverage is pathetic. I was with three before and they were super fast with no issues! now i am stuck with a contract... I now understand why they could offer far more data per month than other packages, the coverage and signal is so terrible you can never really use much data anyway!

I have been with vodafone for quite a few years but now im afraid i must change networks, the coverage in my area is pathetic and always has been, i live in avillage just soutg of scunthorpe, a big village with a population of 5000 plus , and in this day and age i expect a half decent signal! But no, after making countless complaints at both the local shop, and the call centre there is no improvement. I have been payinv for 4g for over a year now but im lucky if i have one bar on the 2g network, i have been paying for a service i am not recieving! To be honest i would be happy if i was getting 3g, but no , so if you are thinking of changing to vodafone dont bother, they just want your money and are not interested in customers complaints, go to o2 they seem to be a lot better, and i think next week i will be joining them too!! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT JOINING VODAFONE!! This is the worst company i have ever experience and i regret that i made a pay monthly contract phone with them. Every month there is always a problem about the phone bills and other things. They kept taking money from my account and they charged me £93 for something i did not know , im lucky that i always check my bank statements. And then i received another txt from them that tgey are charging me another £663 for cancelling my contract which is i did not even do !! And its also been 3 weeks and still waiting for that money that £93 that they refunded.so now i have to make a call again!! Im wondering what problem is going to come again this coming june!! The customer service said they have solved the problems but it keeps on coming back . It's such an inconvinience ! Im very very disappointed with the customer service and the company!!!!! Not good at all!!

Spoken to a rude lady called Anna. She was soooo rude and cocky! Was talking over me and released the call whilst i was talking! Cant wait to leave vodafone never joining them ever again!!!! I would advise everyone not to go with vodafone worst customer service. Its only been 2 months since I've joined them and both of the advisors lied to me. I was on the phone for over an hour.

Have come to end of 2 year contract (16 year customer) - asked for PAC code so I can go elsewhere but still awaited. meantime someone from V (the V word) rand and persuaded me to take SIM only at £8.50. That contract was never actioned and therefore I am still awaiting PAC code. All sorts of rubbish when phoning - have given up ringing. Also have minor mobile broadband £14 per m. They sent email (they use em but you cant send them one) saying they are increasing my GB at cost of £22. Didn't agree this, or ask for it. Have been trying to contact them - cant get through. Average 1 hour to talk to V by phone - usually someone in a different continent having no idea what they are talking about and no ability to put through agreements. Worst company I have had to deal with ever - and there has been a few!! Never - Never - Never - enter into a contract with them - NEVER! PS try their on-line chat if you have a spare hour or so and enjoy a good laugh.

can't stress enough how much I hate this company. The stress and lies that have lead to me being furious. Days waiting in for a new phone to arrive. Countless days taking time off work and more promises that this time it will be dealt with. My daughters phone was due to be transferred over from pay as you go to the contract taking her old number. Still waiting months later. Paying both contracts in the process. We are told by each person that this time it will be done!!!! Really???? When??? We are still waiting!!! ???????????? Have been with them 10 years. Nice that they treat us like this. The story goes on and on. Hours and hours of calls and call backs that don't happen. Even had another sales person tying to renew the contract from another sales person and starting again. Telling me it's not a new contract and cancelling the already long awaited phone that still hasn't arrived months later ????

cannot get a loan or mortgage thanks to this company. Followed cancellation procedure, was told my account would be cancelled and nothing more to pay, great I thought. Cancelled DD and moved house, 1 year later I applied for a loan and was rejected, checked credit score and my account had been on default for a year! Called and paid and asked why they didnt call or email me, was told they had sent letters but I told them I was moving! that was why I was cancelling! The didn't care at all. Said I had no proof of what the agent said and my credit score is now ruined for years.

Vodafone always charge their customers extra money, if your contract is £30.99 a month they'll charge you over £50 each month. It's the worst company to be In a contract with. Their customer service is so poor! Their agents will talk over consumers. Due to the experience I have had with Vodafone for the last 7 months since I joined them I have been utterly disappointed and shocked at the bills I have been receiving. I spoke to a lady called Lilly today and she was so rude to me didn't help me out at all! Spoke over me and the customer service was really bad! I have decided to cancel my contract due to this and having to pay a ridiculous amount each month for my contract!

Vodafone promised to deliver my SIM card on three different dates and failed to do so each time. They appear to be deliberately misleading customers or lying to them. The customer service people do not appear to be adequately trained and do not seem to really listen to what the issues are. Worst ever customer service.

How can a company as big as Vodafone make something as simple as answering bill payment questions so difficult to understand. I have been disconnected several times even though I have proof that the bills paid and when I ring them up its like its my fault and they don't want to listen. Maybe time to change to a new network if things don't improve.

unbelievably bad!! i have never encountered customer service like vodafone, you can spend hours on the phone, speaking to loads of different people, explaining your problem again and again because they dont take notes, only to get hung up on, or lied to. i have been trying to cancel a phone number for over a month now, keep being told it has been dealt with, only to find out that number is still active. they overcharge you, lie to you and waste your time. for gods sake dont take out a contract with vodafone - you will regret it!

Regret, sums my feelings on Vodafone. I should have stayed well away. If you are reading this and are asking yourself whether you want to get in a contract with Vodafone, bloody Don't! All you're going to get is charges left right and centre, rude customers service and a expensive bill every month. You've been warned.

Got my new phone galaxy S7 on Monday of this week but no sim card enclosed with itwas told would be with me Thurs or Fri at the latest and still not got it phoned customer services and they said would be Monday now before I get a simple for my new phone I asked if it could be sent out special delivery was told no asked to speak to a manager was told he wasn't there I have been with Vodafone for 9 whole loyal years and this is the time of service I receive .so Vodafone my question to you is what you gonna do about it?

Im giving Vodaphone one star for actually managing to deliver my phone. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE! When you contact their customer services you either get left waiting for 20-30 minuytes until someone answers the phone, or you deal online via their website, this isnt being racist-but is their call centre in the Uk,? With all my dealings I speak to some foreighn sounding person (4 times) none seem to be able to comprehend English. Phone nearly got sent to an old address after the advisor told me "it dosnt matter", then luckily spotting the error another disinterested advisor basically said "so-sort it yourself"-I told him it was THEIR error, and THEIR job to fix it. The phone arrived with no paperwork apart from a packing slip, or to tell me the sim needed activating even though it was an upgrade. To top it off the sim card tray flew out and I lost it, another advisor apologised for the list of errors as I had put a complaint in, and promised to send me one out in 24 hours, 5 days later you can guess the rest. So I have a phone I cant use and tied into a two year contract for it-never again.
