I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the cushion back and seat. Our Florence chair is one of our best sellers and we have never had a complaint of this nature before so have immediately looked into this with our design team.
The cushion inner for both the back and the seat has a foam core with a fibre and feather wrap. They are designed this way to make sure that the cushion never collapses. The feather and fibre wrap provide additional softness. The inner cushion cover is a hundred percent cotton and has a finish to prevent any feather escape, this is an industry-standard. The outside fabric of the cushion cover has to be fire retardant by law which can cause some stiffness in the fabric but this should soften over time.
