Their customer service is extremely sub par. Tried to order something and every time I called they just disconnected me. Have no idea on how good the items are as I don't know. Just my experience with customer service.

This was a birthday present for my son. He loves it!! It does take a little bit of muscle to move when loaded with weight plates but that just completes his workout!!

Unfortunately, I discovered quality issues with every item I ordered: the flat foot power rack is missing a washer and didn't have clear build instructions, the prime adjustable bench had chunks of rubber pinched off from the rubber feet as well as an off-center weld, one of the bumper plates came warped out of the box, the barbell has some kind of chemical mark on it from manufacturing that won't come off, the dip bar has some pieces of metal rattling around inside it, and the weight storage plates had sharp pieces of metal on the posts that sheared off metal from the inside of the bumper plate metal collars. I notified customer service on April 1, and after multiple follow up emails I didn't receive a response until over a month later, on May 4. They have still been slow to respond and they haven't resolved the issues as of the date of this review--June 8. The site promises a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their products and to date they haven't honored it.

One order I received 2 unmatched bumpers that Vulcan refused to fix and my other orders Vulcan canceled after over a week went by with the status checker saying the orders were in an advanced state of processing. Another order I was on the phone for 2 days straight trying to cancel because Vulcan only let's you cancel by phone and they kept hanging up before anyone got on the line.

Its so hard to figure out where to start with Vulcan. I ordered March 19 at the beginning of the lockdown for Coronavirus. I understand that it was a hectic time for garage gym equipment suppliers, but as an owner of my own small business I can't really let everything that happened slide. I ordered two items on March 19. A shipping label was made and I was told it would ship Monday. When it didn't ship Monday I figured it was crazy and would go out in the next days. One week passed, then two. On week three I decided to try to get in touch with them, since they said on their own site and instagram they were experiencing a backlog and order shouldn't take longer than two weeks. I finally got someone on the phone the third day in a row I called and she told me she didn't know anything about my order and that they didn't have an internal tracking system. The internal tracking system is called your feet and your eyes. I've been inside the warehouses of companies that sell weightlifting equipment, they aren't that big. It takes less than 30 seconds to walk across the warehouse and maybe another minute or two of digging, but I was told there is no internal tracking system. I then wrote them at the month mark on Instagram, and was told the same thing. I responded to their boilerplate copy and paste message saying that it shouldn't take longer than two weeks that it had been four and I got no response. Well, I've got good news and bad news. 32 days after I placed my order I got the notice that my package was shipping, but they only had 1 of the 2 items in stock. I was getting a refund for the thing they didn't have a $7 gift card.... I think that might cover the difference in shipping, but I won't be ordering from them again. There is no chance I can find the other item i ordered at this point, so I really appreciate them making it impossible to find with their incompetence. 36 days after I first ordered i received the largest pair of change plates I have ever seen. This is a business that can't communicate, continues to take orders when they aren't shipping out what they have already sold, doesn't keep any track of their inventory, and possibly sells items out from under customers who have already ordered because they are so disorganized. All I can say is use a company that hires people who say things other than "We don't have an internal tracking system" and cares about taking care of their customers.

Still haven't received all items from my order, which was placed on Black Friday. It's been nearly 3 months, and Vulcan customer support claims they have no idea when the rest of my order will be available. Poor customer service all around.

It has been 5 weeks since I ordered and I still don’t have anything. I have had to reach out to them twice to get any status or update. One part is apparently out of stock and will not be back in stock for several more weeks. They have responded quickly to my emails, but I wish their communication had been more proactive than reactive. Very dissapointed so far and wish we would have gone with our second choice. That opinion might change if we ever get our stuff... but definitely not a good first impression as a company.

I canceled my order as a mistake within 12 hours and no one acknowledged it. I further emailed 4 times and called multiple times and the order still went out. I would like to give small companies my business but my situation is an advertisement for amazon.

Do not expect the weight variance to be "within 25 grams". When I requested a replacement for a bumper 2 1/2 times this amount underweight I was informed "we cannot guarantee the weight variance on the econ color bumpers". I verified the weight independently with UPS scales. I was offered a full refund, if I returned the plates.
