“Seriously twice the bar of any bar I've lifted on in this price range. Bar feels solid, sleeves don't slide or rattle from side to side, spin is amazing, and the black zinc seems especially deep and dark; very nice looking. Very happy with this bar.”

“This is a true GHD! (not just a fancy sit up machine) The comfort to 'pin' your knees against the pad to perform proper Raises is the best I've experienced - especially at this price. After studying the assembly instructions carefully I had no problems assembling the unit in under 1 hour. The quality of this unit is high. Extremely pleased.”

“Love this bar. It spins so smoothly! Knurling is really quite perfect and hasn't torn me up but still grippy. Makes me want to use it a lot! I don't mind the maintenance either. My husband loves it too and wishes he would/could have the black friday deal back!”

“So I have both the Rogue 2.0 and the Vulcan Elite. I have to commend Vulcan, they have a produced an extremely fine product. I love using this bar for everything! Bench, Deads, Cleans, Thrusters, etc. The grip feels great and secure in the hand.”

“I have been to several weightlifting courses, with all levels of coaches. Dan taught me more in the first three hours than all the others combined. Not only did he make me a better more knowledgable lifter, but gave me the tools to help assess and instruct my athletes how to overcome their technique roadblocks. The instruction is straight forward and follows a smart linear progression. I took the drills he gave me home and had three lifters who had been struggling with technique glitches in their snatches PR within two weeks of using the drills. One by 10KG the other two by 5KG. If you are serious about being a better lifter or coach do this course.”

“I recently began looking for a new barbell, since I bent mine pulling heavy. I assumed I would just go with Rogue, Pendlay, etc., but I wanted to do my research and make the best decision. I made a spreadsheet with Sleeve Design, Tensile Strength and similar headings so I could make the best possible decision. I wanted the strongest possible 28mm bar with Oly markings. In the end, I chose Vulcan over a similarly priced bearing bar for three reasons: 1. Tensile strength – I was determined to never need another bar, and nobody could touch the 221k psi 2. I wanted to support a veteran-owned business, and had no idea where the other bar was manufactured, or who saw the money 3. The murdered out black on black The one thing that has stood out to me the most since I’ve owned the bar is its sound. Many bars rattle around internally, but the Vulcan is nearly silent! I’ve loaded it up with an assortment of bumper and steel plates and it sounds like a bare bar. Great work, Vulcan.”
