“All of the welds are done well and the brackets are extremely solid. The included mounting hardware were masonry anchors, and I was mounting it to wall studs. Installed with 3/8 x 3" lag screws and a 1 1/4" galvanized pipe from the hardware store for the bar and it didn't even budge with my 260lb frame hanging from it. Well done, Vulcan.”

“In short, top quality, great price, don't waste your time looking for a better deal. I ordered the 160 lb bumper set to use in my garage and I couldn't be happier with the results. I live in the area, and order/self-pickup was a breeze. They were the best price that I could find, even before factoring in no shipping costs. I feel very comfortable dropping these weights in my garage, although I also have a 3/4" rubber mat for added protection. They also have minimal bounce, even when dropped from overhead. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to a CrossFit box for a local competition and saw Vulcan bumpers scattered all around - the same as what I now own in my garage.”

We were looking for four things: Made in USA: We wanted quality workmanship and we noticed that one company was selling import Rigs for more than Vulcan sells US made. That was a no-brainer to choose Vulcan. Options: Vulcan had all the necessary options that we really needed. We aren't in to tricks and gimmicks. We wanted practicality and functionality. Our space in our gym was limited and we didn't want to buy anything that could be used by ALL of our members Price: Vulcan was clearly the lowest price on US made quality and shipping was free. Customer Service" Vulcan was very responsive and matter of fact when answering our questions. We could tell they take a lot of pride in their products and would stand behind it 100% Rig was easy assemble, zero problems, all bolt holes lined up perfectly from attachment to upright, powder coating was flawless with nice grippy texture. HUGE. This thing is really beefy. can't explain it but it looks much larger than our other rig that we have. I think its the way they make their Offset pullup bars, the flanges are enormous on those things!”

“I've been impressed by the bar and bumper package, both for its value and quality. I shopped packages for days and couldn't beat Vulcan's cost per lb shipped. Unlike other bars I've used, the knurling is excellent and doesn't tear your hands up during a heavy lift. The bar also has just the right amount of whip, and the bumpers don't bounce back up to your ears when dropping from overhead. Overall I think the package is hard to beat. 2bfit.me Personal Training”
