“We studied these rigs intensively on the internet and contacted several companies. We were looking for four things: Made in USA: We wanted quality workmanship and we noticed that one company was selling import Rigs for more than Vulcan sells US made. That was a no-brainer to choose Vulcan. Options: Vulcan had all the necessary options that we really needed. We aren't in to tricks and gimmicks. We wanted practicality and functionality. Our space in our gym was limited and we didn't want to buy anything that could be used by ALL of our members Price: Vulcan was clearly the lowest price on US made quality and shipping was free. Customer Service" Vulcan was very responsive and matter of fact when answering our questions. We could tell they take a lot of pride in their products and would stand behind it 100% Rig was easy assemble, zero problems, all bolt holes lined up perfectly from attachment to upright, powder coating was flawless with nice grippy texture. HUGE. This thing is really beefy. can't explain it but it looks much larger than our other rig that we have. I think its the way they make their Offset pullup bars, the flanges are enormous on those things!”

“I have about 8ft. 6in. clearance in my garage and had more than enough room for this rig. There are no instructions but a little common sense goes a long way. Concrete bit and a drill for the floor mount kit and a few 2X10s screwed into the wall studs then lag screw the rack to the 2X10s and your done. Took me less than and hour with a buddy to help. I did local pick up so I don't know how the freight is. I live 90mins away and they had it ready to go with no problems. Emails were answered quickly. With all that being said this rig is awesome. I weigh in at 235 lbs and I can do kipping pull ups without worry of it coming down. It is well constructed and affordable. I have purchased other equipment (bumper plates and female Crossfit Olympic bar) from Vulcan as well and they have yet to let me down. I will continue to buy from Vulcan.”

“Really sturdy core wedge. Most of the core wedges I have used start getting squishy after a few days of use. This product is still retaining its shape and provides awesome stability. Also can't beat the price!!!”

“Shipping was free and fast, and the rings and straps are excellent quality. No problems with slipping straps. Compared with multiple manufacturers (Rogue, Hammerhead, etc), and these were the best deal. I'll definitely be using Vulcan in the future.”

“I am the owner/ head coach here at CrossFit 828 up here in Boone, NC and I've got 4 of these here in my box with the escalating pull up bars, chambered pull up bars, pegs, and monkey bars attached. These racks opened up an enormous amount of opportunities for variability in the workouts for my box and with all the attachments allowed plenty of space for any number lifts taken from a rack, banded lifts, mobility work, and ring or bar gymnastic movements. On top of this they are solid as can be, can handle as much weight and as many people as you can fit on them and do not flex or budge at all. I highly recommend these for any CrossFit facility or power gym.”

“This is the best bushing bar on the market hands down! Vulcan Strength went above and beyond in design and build quality on this bar. As the owner of a Crossfit gym in San Diego, I have had the privilege of using a LOT of different bushing and bearing bars and this bar crushes the competition. For those of you who need a benchmark comparison: compared to the Rogue Ohio Bar, the Vulcan Elite Bushing Bar has more whip, a slightly deeper knurling with a very passive center knurl and better spin. Pros: - Fantastic Whip - Exceptional Spin - "Grippy" knurling + black oxide finish = grippy feel like a chalked bar without destroying your hands - It sounds like a solid bar when dropped instead of the usual death rattle of most bars Cons: Your other bars will just collect dust once you have one of these beasts.”

“So I have both the Rogue 2.0 and the Vulcan Elite. I have to commend Vulcan, they have a produced an extremely fine product. I love using this bar for everything! Bench, Deads, Cleans, Thrusters, etc. The grip feels great and secure in the hand.”

“I recently began looking for a new barbell, since I bent mine pulling heavy. I assumed I would just go with Rogue, Pendlay, etc., but I wanted to do my research and make the best decision. I made a spreadsheet with Sleeve Design, Tensile Strength and similar headings so I could make the best possible decision. I wanted the strongest possible 28mm bar with Oly markings. In the end, I chose Vulcan over a similarly priced bearing bar for three reasons: 1. Tensile strength – I was determined to never need another bar, and nobody could touch the 221k psi 2. I wanted to support a veteran-owned business, and had no idea where the other bar was manufactured, or who saw the money 3. The murdered out black on black The one thing that has stood out to me the most since I’ve owned the bar is its sound. Many bars rattle around internally, but the Vulcan is nearly silent! I’ve loaded it up with an assortment of bumper and steel plates and it sounds like a bare bar. Great work, Vulcan.”

“Bar was shipped quickly. Knurling is nice, more pronounced than the lower level pendlay but but not aggressive. The bar doesn't look to spin as well as it does. It surprises you on its quality. Cheaper gym bumper plates have some issue staying on the bar, but nicer training plates do not. If this bar stays at this level of performance for a long time you have a steal of a bar.”

“This is the best bushing bar I've seen since the days of the old York bushing bars. The knurling is PERFECT. Great whip, as good as Vulcan's two higher priced bearing bars. Straight out of the tube is doesn't have the spin of the bearing bars, of course, but perfectly serviceable. The lifters at Rubber City Weightlifting love it already.
