“Very happy with the weights and bar, exceeded my expectations. The bumper plates have a nice feel to them and are extremely accurate in weight. Olympic bar is nice and seems to be holding up good. The bar has some dull discoloration in spots, hoping it doesn't effect the quality in the long run. Thanks”

“This was a great purchase and well worth the backorder wait. Both of the plates and the bar feel extremely high quality and durable. I was able to add 30-40lbs to my clean and jerk just by using this equipment. The bar spins freely and the plate have very minimal bounce. Both are amazing products.”

“Extremely happy so far in the product. The alpha bumpers are definitely quieter and less bouncy than plates I've used in the past. My only complaint was on the logistical/customer service side of things. When I placed my order, I was not aware of any delay in shipping. I only became aware after going on the website to check on my order, no email notification from Vulcan. All said and done it was a 6.5 week process where some proactive communication and updates during the process would have been nice considering my credit card was charged immediately.”

Hi Ryan. Thanks for your review. The Alpha bumper plates were listed as available for pre -order only. All pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase as stated in the terms and policy on our website. The ETA (estimated time of arrival) is not a guaranteed date of course. There were email notifications sent out detailing that once bumper plates arrived it would take anywhere from 7-10 business days to ship out all pre -orders. “I love the bar! I am a raving fan. I sent a complete review to Amanda. Please check with her. Customer service was excellent, website and website pictures and e commerce gateway was clunky and not up to common standards and not reflective of my interaction with staff. Reaction with staff was awesome and I love the bar.”

“First i had done a lot of research before purchasing my first set of bumper plates i ended up on Vulcan brand coz i read good reviews in the internet about it. They came like after a month coz they were out of stock of the 45 lbs. i was really amazed how great this bumper plates are, they were really well built with smooth finish. The odor of the rubber wasnt bad at all and i know it will gone after few day/weeks. They were free shipping through fedex freight and the guy who delivered it has able to unload it for me and brought it infront of our house. All in all i am happy with my purchased it just taken so long to be delivered.”

“it may be because of the are are i live in (houston, TX) but my bar within the first week my bar started to rust. Not sure if this is a normal thing but its definitely something to consider. Aside from the rust, i love this bar. one of my favorite features is the 28mm diameter of this bar. the knurling is more aggresive than ive been used to and i really like that. i havent tested the whip on this thing because i havent really loaded it with maximal weights. overall i think i made the right choice. maybe vulcan can address my rust issues and why on the first week it was already rusting. i use this for strictly oly lifts and there is little to no sweat involved.”

Hi Jose, Thank you for your review. No coating is 100% rust proof unfortunately. In order for a bar to rust there must be moisture or humidity to facilitate the rust. Coatings are sacrificial in nature, meaning they rust to protect the steel underneath from rust. If there is rust, the environment is supporting it. If you are training in a garage which is not climate controlled there may be a great deal of moisture present. In the Houston area most recently there has been severe flooding, which definitely could increase the overall level of humidity. “Great quality and construction. The measurements are what they are supposed to be. Most specifically, the collar opening, which unlike other brands, is accurate thanks to the insert not being stamped in and taking away millimeters. I look forward to future orders from Vulcan.”

“I ordered The 8 kg.Kettlebells.And they arrived Quickly.Package very well with No scratches or Chips .Very well made.In fact I think they are a beauty.Im a beginner with Kettlebells so I Pinned alot of Pins on Penterest of Kettlebells Workouts and will get fit using the Kettlebells in my daily Exercise Routine.I will be buying more items from Vulcan .Com. “This bar is amazing. The knurling is deadly - in a good way! You'll lose your fingers before you lose the weight. It has just enough spin to keep the weight where it's supposed to be. There's no whip at all and the bar flexes only a tiny amount if the sleeve is full. Not to mention, it looks fantastic. I have several bars from several manufacturers and this is easily my favorite. Great job!”

“I purchased a 230 lb bumper plates set and the Vulcan One bar. Everything shipped Fed Ex and only took five days from placing the order to receiving the shipment. The bumper plates are great quality (low bounce and noise when dropped on rubber mats). The bar is very nice as well. The knurling has that perfect balance of providing solid grip, but without destroying your hands and shins. The spin on the bar is also very nice for cleans and snatches. I will definitely be purchasing more plates in the future.”

“I purchased the 13MM Vulcan Power Lifting Belt last year and was thoroughly satisfied with the quality, value and delivery. So, when it was time to purchase additional bumpers, I came back to Vulcan and bought the 260 Lb black set.
