“I was looking for an e-cig which required less maintenance as I was fed up of changing the clearomiser on my old e-cig. I also wanted an e-cig which allows me to change between e-liquid flavours easily without mess, whilst providing a great vaping experience. For all of the above the Vype e-pen fits the bill with the added bonus of a sleek and lightweight design. However there is a negative to the e-pen in that the battery life isn't as good as any device I have tried before. One day I had to fully charge it twice, even though I have had the e-pen for less than a week. If Vype sort the battery life they're on to a winner, but until then I may have to go back to my old one.”

“The biggest downside is that I find it turns on in my pocket. It's hard to know if it's on or off. No constant light to say, yeah I'm on.”

“This is the first time I have used e fags so my experience is somewhat limited and I have nothing to compare them to. Initially, they give a hit at the back of the throat not dissimilar to real fags, but they do have a number of drawbacks, The leave you with a slightly burning sensation in the throat, mouth and lips. There is also a sweet aftertaste, which I do not like. I have also experienced a dryness in the mouth which makes me constantly drink. The tips do not last very long. At the rate I "puff", I go through about 1 to 2 tips a day. So a pack of 4 tips lasts me 2 to 4 days, depending on usage. Not too bad costwise, certainly a lot cheaper than the real thing. However, cost is not the main reason that I chose to use them. The Jury is still out on these for me. I'll give it a month or two and see whether I get accustomed to the experience.”

“would like a few more flavours to be available in lower mils. ie 6mls packs. Your recent offer of two variety packs with a pen are no good to me as I do not use 18 mils.”

“Really like the product however very disappointed in the flavours of the liquid which as put me off ordering anymore not strong enough flavour and the apple could not taste anything . Got my 2 daughters on the product as well but they say the same as me . Would gladly try again if you gave the option off a stoner flavour .”

“The battery charge is amazing but the filers do not last long at all. Will be using this product only when I am out and about and unable to keep charging. The case holds 2 spare cartridges but as they don't last long the befit is out weighed.”

“I used to have a big, heavy, cumbersome square shaped tank e-cig. I liked it, but became embarrassed with its appearance, and didn't want to have to manipulate the e-liquid anymore. Bought the Vype pen. Pros: Smart look, discreet, easy to use, no need to manipulate e-liquid, very light, very easy to change cartridges. Very good customer experience during purchase (easy website, swift delivery). Cons: Not very powerful (if you have a variable clearomizer, you may find it disappointing), takes a couple of hours to charge and would only last 1.5 day. You obviously only can use the cartridges sold by Vype. That's alright (good quality) but the crisp mint one tastes virtually of...nothing at all (in 6 mg/ml). This was unexpected since I really used to like the crisp mint bottle e-liquid (for my previous tank e-cig). The other menthol one is only available in 18mg/ml (I am trying to quit nicotine), so might have to try other low concentration nicotine ones. Summary: good all rounder, no itchy throat, no risk of toxicity with e-liquid, or damaged coil, but not very powerful. Would love a stronger tasting mint flavor. ***** update: following this review, have been contacted by customer service. They kindly sent me a pack of apple flavoured cartridges for free. Very impressed by the swift reply and kind attention from the Vype team. And apple taste suits me a bit better.”

“I would recommend buying this vape product if you are trying to give up smoking as before purchasing this a week ago I was a long time heavy smoker - around 40 a day. Since purchase I have not felt the need to buy any cigs so this is looking good in my book. My only real quibbles with the product are: it can be a bit fiddly trying to fill the liquid as the bottle can be a little difficult to squeeze and you can end up over filling. If the liquid goes in to the filter it can cause it to stop working and you'll have to buy a new one whilst filling bubbles can occur that stop liquid going in to the container and it can end up spilling over, and again if the liquid goes in to the filter it can cause it to stop working and you'll have to buy a new one the liquid can leak from the container on to the battery contact the battery pack flashes a short circuit warning quite often As long as you can overlook these issues though I would still recommend this system.”
