Haddiscoe is a lovely lodge with beautiful views across open fields with an array of wildlife to observe. An excellent food at the onsite pub. Great facilities. Canoes and a day boat a must. Would have appreciated either an earlier arrival time or later departure time but that is all I would alter. The fabulous arrival pack was a lovely touch and the bread was delicious. Thanks to your team their efforts are all worthwhile for a fabulous holiday experience.

Check in: total chaos in the bar due to an idiotic decision to close reception at the time when everyone checks in. Bar staff doing their best to be helpful Room much too hot and no means of controlling temperature. Lavatory cistern overflow fault. Truculent elderly member of staff at morning reception

It was a lovely spot, we pitched a tent and we loved the view and peaceful surroundings. We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the facilities and changing rooms at the pool. A large communal toilet/shower block works better than cramped smaller ones when you're going in with children. The pub was lovely and we had fun getting lost in the maize maze!

So many great things to say. From the start, the staff made the booking really easy. Once there everything ran like clockwork. No problems at all. Very clean and well organised. All staff we encountered were incredibly cheery and helpful. The pods were very comfortable. All they missed was a mirror and somewhere to tether the dog. We hired a dayboat which was great. Again no problems. The pub was lovely and we had a very good meal at, what I would consider, a decent price. As with all these types of breaks it is very weather dependant but I really would recommend this site...nearly forgot to mention the toilet/shower ! Definitely the best I have encountered at a campsite

Showers need to be cleaned more frequently.

Our holiday was extremely comfortable. The lodge was well equipped and clean. We had rented a lodge with disabled facilities as we were taking a relative with mobility issues. One criticism of the wet room was the toilet did not have a raised level seat - it was a good job we took our own! The late check in (4 pm) and early check out 09:30 meant we effectively 'lost a day' which was disappointing. The staff were all very helpful and polite.

Lovely site as usual, great food and drinks on offer at the Waveney inn, and plenty to do for the children including the play area and swimming pool. We had fun launching our canoes into the Waveney! However, this will sadly be our last trip to Waveney River Centre due to the policy of the £100 noise deposit. No other site requires it, so have plenty of choice to go elsewhere. Such a shame.

Fantastic location. Superb lodge. Great fishing. Pub food disappointing, dry and dull. Decor was grim, smelled greasy.

Fantastic jewel on the broads. We were camping, and managed to get a spot by the water's edge. Not sure why we had to give a deposit, but we did. The facilities are good, I wouldn't say perfect. A bit of TLC would be good with the showers. Food was great in the pub, not too expensive either. The activities were also good, we did kayaking and cycling. Boat hire seems expensive, but on par with others in the area. Definetly will return in the spring.

Waveney river centre is idyllic. It is a perfect escape retreat. Tranquil setting, but in easy reach to go out and about. The lodges were very spacious. However, more effort needs to be made in the cleaning of the lodges. There was food on the floor from the prior clients. Old slippers had been left in the bedroom with used tissues. If more was invested in the cleaning of the lodges, it would have been spot on!

We had a lovely long weekend here, the lodges are fantastic and the hot tubs perfect for relaxing. The River Centres facilities are second to none and it was an enjoyable experience. We only had one issue with a hornets nest on the last night and one getting into the lodge. The out of hours person was extremely unhelpful and patronising when called to help us but I can't fault the staff the next day with even a lovely staff member ringing me to apologise after I'd emailed to tell them about my experience. Despite the one tiny blip, I would totally recommend this place for couples, and families, lovely staff, great food at the Inn and a fab, quiet and relaxing holiday. Thanks for a great stay!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Somerleyton lodge excellent. Couple of things though ... 2 better outside chairs would be good. More importantly the bedroom needs two bedside lamps. The spotlights are not conducive to relaxing with a book in bed. Staff excellent especially the reception staff. Location wonderful. Thanks

Nice quiet site. Great for stargazing. Clean facilities. Good shop. However didn’t like paying for 3 nights when wanted 2 nights. Was very expensive for just a tent pitch. The maize maze was extremely expensive for a family and very disappointing also. Kicked myself for wasting money on it. Mentioned this to reception.

A beautiful location. Lovely site and very friendly staff. We really enjoyed your swimming pool, our boys were always keen to get in it and evening's spent sitting out in our camping chairs having a drink waiting for and watching the geese fly overhead in theur formation V. Thank you so much. We have really enjoyed our 2018 holiday with you in gorgeous Norfolk. It went by too quickly.

This is a nice campsite with beautifully clean shower / toilets, a busy marina and a restaurant in site. There's a good swimming pool and play area for families to enjoy. On the negative side we had other campers using our pitch (large and expensive) as a dog toilet. The reception said they would clear it up, which didn't happen only by the end if the week there were 3 piles if disgusting mess. We paid for a large pitch but with only a smallish tent we could easily get both of our small cars on the pitch but instead we were charge an EXTRA £35. Because we didn't rope off our pitch like most other campers we had a constant flow of people walking down and across our ground sheets even when we were eating. Shop is expensive
