“A haven of tranquility with wildlife in abundance and a welcome dearth of good wifi. Could have been hours away from civilisation. Everyone was helpful, cheerful and polite. Everywhere was well cared for and clean.”

“Lovely Inn very clean and fresh, lovely friendly staff. I highly recommend you change the porch mat high trip hazard. We stayed in the starboard room, lovely light airy room. Wet room could do with a rail on wall near the toilet, hard to get up if your disabled. A bottle of water in each room wouldn't gone a miss either, as rooms got warm. Food in the pub was lovely and service good and friendly nothing was nothing to trouble either. thank you for a lovely stay.”

“We really loved the lodge it was a great size and had everything you need for a break. I do think the check in time of 4pm is rather late and the check out rather early as you lose a day. But staff very helpful and kept eye on hot tub daily. Had issue with boiler but came very fast and no further problems. We were sadly not blessed with good weather but we still used hot tub every day as lovely and hot! Black out blinds would be a real plus as the light shines in very early so didn't get a lie in! Bar staff very friendly and plenty to chose from although no lager my husband drinks sadly! But we will hopefully return with my family another time and hope we chose a sunny week to hire a boat etc. Thanks for making us so welcome! w”

“If you want a top rate place to stay then go no further than here. Lodges are spotlessly clean and little welcome gift was a nice touch. Staff are all friendly and happy to help to make sure your stay is pleasent. Would highly recommend and will be back again”

“A very welcome short break. Lodge was extremely clean and comfortable a home from home. Staff were attentive and very friendly. I could not fault the holiday three generations and the dog all had a fantastic time.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxed and romantic! The hot tub was a real treat! The staff were lovely and the scenery was beautiful! However we were disappointed to turn up to a full dishwasher of dirty plates mugs etc. So we had to run that ourself where as we felt it should have been done ready for our arrival. Also the signal and wifi wasn’t great. The Waveney inn was slightly disappointing food wise and we wouldn’t eat there again. Will definitely be back, just will not be dining there.”

“The centre is lovely,restaurant has good food although menu could have more fresh veg and a choice of potatoes? Staff very good. Just to remind centre staff to drive slowly when coming into work,young bar staff driving too fast when driving down the hill.”

“Stayed at the river way lodge, lodge was lovely and clean apart from a few long hairs I found on the floor and only saw them because of my little girl crawling. In the main bathroom the plug doesn’t work so bathing her had to be quick. Had a problem with the hot water, we rang as it was out of Hours and the man came round very promptly to fix the problem Evan though he was eating his dinner. Lovely staff and accommodation with a great location. would definitely stay here again.”

“It felt like you weren't quite ready for the season. Lots of things were out of order: vending machine, pool table, penny falls etc. I stayed in a pod but used my friends lodge on the Saturday morning and had no hot water so had to get a cold shower. I was getting ready for a wedding and couldn't give my 4 year old daughter a bath because of this! It seemed like the staff didn't really have a clue what was going on. I went to the inn for a cooked breakfast advertised as £5.95 in a leaflet and when I got there it was £6.50. Just annoying to be given wrong information. It was frustrating not to be able to use the pill on the Saturday morning due to swimming lessons and to have no proper shape end for toddlers when groin the website it all seemed very child friendly. After our swim we just got showered before the hot water ran out. On the plus the shower and toilets were cleaned regularly.”

“We had a lovely time but it would have been made better if you had acted on the requests made in the visitors book ie. brush and dustpan, additional baking trays and a dishwasher which actually worked properly. Pressure in the downstairs shower/toilet could easily be improved by fitting a “salamander ” pump and fly strips to counteract the flys from the stables would have made the score “very good”.”
