I have never had a worse online ordering experience than with Wickes. 1st attempt I ordered online as the bath I wanted was not available in my local store. Online said the bath was in stock. I proceeded witht the order and was given 6 day delivery turnaround. On delivery day I got a call from my local stor to say they didn't have it in stock. They could get it from another store, but couldn't say when. We had arranged for the bath to be fitted that weekend. Cancelled the order, got a refund and decided to place a click and collect order with one of their other stores that did have the bath in stock. I received order confirmation which said I would get a text in about an hour to confirm the item was ready to collect. About 3 hours later I called to find out what was going on as I was getting ready to go and collect it (about 16 miles away). They said sorry, we do have two in stock but both are damaged. The best thing we can do is refund you. So, back to square one again!! No bath. What I don't understand is why a national company cannot arrange a delivery for someone who had ordered an item online from anywhere other than the local store. Wickes provided me witht the delivery date giving them about 5 days to get my bath to me from wherever they had stock. Shocking customer service!!!!!

Firstly I need to point out that I have not purchased from Wickes, I am simply the innocent neighbour of someone that did. So, how can I give this terrible company one star? Well, it's quite simple really - because over a month ago I had the audacity to complain to them about their HGV driver who felt it appropriate to drive over part of my front lawn leaving deep tyre impressions that are still there even though more than four weeks have passed. It may seem trivial I know, but as far as I am concerned my lawn is damaged. It was never bowling green flat but at least I could easily mow it with a standard garden lawn mower which I am now not able to do. Yesterday I contacted them by telephone as I had not heard back from my initial communication, I had allowed them a little over four weeks to respond. I was informed by a young woman that I would hear back from them the same afternoon, alas I have not and doubt that I will. Don't get me wrong, I know it's a lawn, and not really that important, well not as important as giving good customer service anyway, but it's the principle of the matter. What if the damage HAD been greater, would they still keep their head in the sand? I guess that's their policy, "run away"

Ordered replacement fitted bathroom and change bath for shower bath. Don't know what designer did not understand but I have toilet jammed against bath which is not easy to use and has left no access to bath either in or out. It is unsafe for me to use so I will now have to pay to get toilet and basin removed and refitted where the original ones were. The boxing in of toilet is double the size that it was, it is higher and deeper bringing toilet nigh into middle of bathroom. Never use Cambridge Wickes, they are inefficient and rude at customer service. This bathroom has cost me a total of £7550 and I cannot use the bath/shower.

Tried to purchase a bathroom suite in Newcastle store today. Can only sell everything individually unlike a couple of weeks before when I checked the price for the whole suite now coming out more expensive. After reading the poor reviews on delivery I think I've had a lucky escape. I did find the whole experience a bit frustrating as the prices seemed to include installation and looked very expensive compared to a couple of weeks ago. Now going to buy somewhere else.

Went into Northampton store this morning to buy some plastic quadrant. Couldn't find it assumed no stock. Staff did not seem to know what it was, very unhelpful. Went into B&Q guy at the entrance pointed me straight to it

Ordered a Kitchen worktop in good faith. Payment has been taken, promised delivery today (18th March 2017 between 8am and 6pm). I work full time and only have my weekend spare. Have waited in all day and no delivery. Received no courtesy call whatsoever. I am absolutely fuming. I want my money back and will not return in store for another single item. I will be advising friends and family to follow suit.

Place an order that didn't turn up. I had to call them to ask where it was. The lady at head office told me I would have to ring the local store to see what is going on! Very strange when I had rang the head office. Rather than wicks sorting the problem and getting the product re-delivered. I am now waiting for someone at the local store to call me. Great service.

My son had a kitchen and bathroom fitted back in November 2016, the kitchen was fine but they made a real mess of the bathroom including having water leak through the lounge ceiling and making a mess of that. Nothing has been fixed or sorted out to date. Worse than poor. I feel really bad as my son has a busy important job and I advised him to go to Wickes expecting them to take care of everything and do a professional job. They need exposing on TV for what they are.

I waited in on two separated occasions for two orders of my flat pack kitchen from Wickes at Lancaster and it never arrived either time, I also waited in all evening for a phone call, customer services said I would get call after they missed delivering my units, this didn't happen, I had to cancel my fitter twice, they don't seem to know what communication is at the Lancaster branch, Thats four days of my life I won't get back!!!! Avoid, at all costs

I ordered 20 metres of skirting board from Wickes online, paid at the same time including a £30 delivery charge. I picked a date for delivery from the choices available on Wickes website. On the day of delivery (after waiting for a few hours) I called to see when the delivery was likely to arrive. On the phone call I got told that they won't be delivered because the ones they had in stock were all damaged and they were waiting on a new delivery of stock. I informed the lady on the phone that I have a joiner coming the next day to fit the skirting boards and after alot of emphasis on the inconvenience caused they offered to refund the £30 delivery charge. Still waiting for the refund! And then the next delivery date that was promised came and went without delivery or any phone call. Terrible delivery service from this company. Still haven't got the skirting boards.

My mother (80yrs) ordered a kitchen with fitting by a "Wickes" installer. Work started Monday 27th Feb. Installer walked out due to Atmosphere!!! Despite this being over a week ago I haven't heard from supervisor of installers. He telephoned my mother yesterday and was given my contact details. Beware of using Andover based installing team.

Many missed deliveries, incomplete orders and now realise kitchen staff ordered wrongly from the beginning in the shop. Back to page 1. Wickes are appalling. Just the worst I have ever known. So many other things are wrong. Stock levels in particular. Have they stopped stocking anything? Will try hardest never to use them again. Will always go somewhere else if I can. Been a customer for years but no more.

Wickes will be fast to take your money. All smiles and so so helpful when selling......... I spend over £1k on a shower suite for my invalid mother. But when it goes wrong they are totally not bothered and will pass you from pillar to post always blaming someone else. When I purchased "design consultant" confirmed all was in stock. Paid rapid deliver because I was arranging my own contractor. Received multiple emails confirming delivery 1st March. Great......... or so I thought. 1st March arrives and partial delivery made. No radiator, no shower fittings. I called their CS. Told they would chase radiator and resend the shower fittings. Told should have delivery 2nd Mar. Asked for call back. No call back. Builder calls 2nd March. Still no delivery. Call CS again. They clearly have loads of irate customers as they're really not bothered. Radiator out of stock - Delivery 9th. I have a builder on site. Delivery 9th. Nothing we can do. Radiator supplier at fault not us. Where are my fittings? Delivery 3-5 days. But you made an error. Yes delivery 3-5 days. So I paid rapid delivery give me credit. Can't do that you have to talk to design consultant. bye!!!!!!! Design consultant - problem is with radiator company not wickes. I paid wickes. Yes but fault is with radiator company not wickes. Wickes delivered what we could on time so no refund rapid delivery........ This iis standard policy from Wickes. It is highly likely you will have a problem and when you do they do not care. They have your money and will blame anyone else apart from them and take absolutely no ownership in resolving. I will never buy anything again from Wickes and I would encourage you to go to Howdens. They are honest, service great and were £900 cheaper on a kitchen

Ordered only 4 panels (yes just 4 panels) after Storm Doris - given a time slot of between 12-4pm, no phone call till 5.30pm (at which time we had left home as we couldn't wait in any longer) and no message left - went down to the local store today all of 1 mile away and told bad traffic, driver not having his phone and running late (1.5hrs??) meant that they would now reschedule (again now I have spoken to them) to a time next week - only I have no one around to deal with the delivery when its convenient for Wickes!!! - Disgusting service and a couldn't careless attitude from the manager - "it is what it is mate, we're really sorry" - yeah that helps when you put a day aside to rely on a "good company" disgusting

Firstly bath was delivered broken, leaving the installer taking longer than he planned to install. Installer poorly finished off tiling and worktop. Wicked are trying to fix but their customer service is so poor. 3 months ago my bathroom was started and I am told I need to wait 3 more weeks. Wickes allow their contractors to sub contract to others and I am waiting for the sub contractors. Wickes can do nothing. By the way the Wickes install manager never returns any call. So be prepared to keep calling if you have issues. Design experience was good but don't let Wickes install; you get NO support.
