Good Portsmouth staff need to be retrained when dealing with bookings made as mine clearly said lift needed and blue badge on display Fishbourne staff excellent 5stars for them

Lovely ship. However the delays they have on the Portsmouth - fishbourne crossing is not great! The cost you pay for summer crossings to is horrific!! Red funnel are cheaper! Still expensive but cheaper. Wightlink is the most expensive ferry crossing in the world (fact)!! Ridiculous isn’t it for a 30-45 minute crossing.

I live in Lymington and have travelled Lym / Yarmouth twice in recent weeks with visitors, as a foot passenger. Both times I received a message (while I was on the island) that my return ferry had been cancelled. Why do you do this? Nerve wracking for arrangements and parking in Lym.

The crossing we had was very busy. Dogs in the passenger lounge. Not enough seats, some travellers had to stand for the crossing. Far far too expensive.

The staff and crossing are always good, the prices however are ridiculously high, especially when I have a blue badge and pay more for the sale of using it, plus the fact that I am a frequent user travelling from the mainland to visit my elderly disabled mother and the price I pay for the crossing is actually dearer with the blue badge than paying as a normal traveller. Why are your prices so high when we have no choice but to come over in the car for medical reasons We are not happy with the ever increasing prices with no discount for our frequent uses of the ferry

Wightlink are a good ferry company providing a regular service to the Isle of Wight. However they do not provide a public service and they are very expensive. If, as I do, you are regularly visiting elderly relatives, this is not a cheap option. Prices rise in the summer, and go down in the winter. I would like to see a bridge built, even with a toll it would still be cheaper, and I could get to my parents much quicker in an emergency. Wightlink are inclined to cancel crossings in the winter months, if they have not sold enough tickets, very very frustrating if you are trying to get there to take your Mum to a hospital appointment! Friends say the summer prices double the cost of their camping holidays, and this is going to affect the holiday trade for local business. I don’t really recommend them as there is no other option, Red Funnel are too far away to make them a viable option.

Only second time to the IOW Delays both way ! Stuff happens but it would be nice to have has an announcement telling us what was going on or an apology-but nothing Ferry prices far too high will make me and I imagine others think twice about going again which in turn will affect the islands economy which you can feel already, you can get cheaper deals to go to France 🇫🇷 which is madness IOW was great and we purchased the home produced products in abundance, love their attitude towards us dog owners made welcome wherever we went 👍

Received an offer of Priority Boarding before our return, decided to go for it. Fishbourne–Portsmouth. Experience: We ended up as the third last car on the ferry. We even alerted the guy at the check-in when all the other cars were prioritized before us... He had given us a striped sign to Ben placed on our front window. Entering the ferry one of your employees asked us about our dangerous cargo... which she told us the sign said... Not priority at all... She had never heard about priority boarding. Very strange experience. Why do you offer a service which is unfamiliar to your dock employees?

My ferry was delayed by over an hour. I understand these things happen but the knock on effect on peoples plans is unacceptable, particularly when the cost of the crossing is so expensive. A compensation structure should be in place.

A good experience totally ruined, due to chaos at Portsmouth when disembarking, no traffic control after leaving ferry, 4 lanes into one at the exit, staff standing about totally oblivious!!!! There will be an accident at port exit if no action taken

I have been using this service longer than Wightlink have been running it. You have provided a regular and consistent timetable. Your prices seem very high considering the continual demand. You should encourage people to avoid booking at peak times by offering greater discounts to travel earlier or later in the day ( Yesterday on the 8.10pm service from Yarmouth there were only about 12 vehicles !?) There is not enough seating on many of your ferries especially on the Yarmouth service. This is a particular problem for dog owners who do not have any choice where seats might be and so have to stand or go up to the sun deck. The facilities for dog owners on Red Funnel are so much better. Why has this review now centred on the delivery service?.?.!,,?

As we had registered as disabled (full time wheelchair user) we didn’t appreciate being loaded last, as the lounge was already very busy before we were able to get to it, thus reducing the ability to site the wheelchair in an appropriate place.

Does what it says on the tin. But was inconvenienced by late arrival at Portsmouth. But this was a very busy period, so just about acceptable. Was otherwise a trouble free & pleasant crossing.

Travel across the Solent is surprisingly expensive these days. There's also no incentive to bring a short car as the basic charge is for 6 metres - although the staff pack you in +/- bumper to bumper anyway. [Revoo doesn't recognise my actual email address structure it seems]
