Value for money is very poor as the cost of the ferry from Lymington is probably the most expensive in the world! This makes it impossible for any small business to work between Lymington and Isle of Wight, effectively destroying the Socio-economic balance within the local community!

Although I have only once had a problem with the actual service in 50+ years, I feel that the normal sailings are way too expensive and there aren't the same amount of offers as years ago. Also I don't understand why a return visit of over 5 days usually costs more than if I visited for less than 5 days

Overall a great service but some issues like not opening the children’s area on the new Victoria Boat on some crossings. Not ideal when you need to entertain children that have been stuck in a car for a couple of hours.

Far too expensive. But with only 2 ferry services available they have a monopoly on the prices. Good service but unfairly high prices, which can double in the school holidays.

Fast and efficient checking in at the port but STILL too expensive and some ferries poor standard. Discount for immediate family to travel to and fro family on the island would ensure I visit more often than I can otherwise afford. Come on Wightlink, give us families some support!

It's just a short crossing but so very expensive. No luxury on board. Very worn and tired seating etc. Efficient service boarding but not busy so expected

Unpredictable timetable; frequent delays. The ferries are clean, comfortable and more spacious than Red Funnel with a shorter journey time and generally less expensive. The food is poor.

No day trip deals this year.nopensioner discount w car.i bring 80 people each year at this time,for past 20 years,but prices are making us think twice.

I use the ferry service from Lymington to Yarmouth. It’s a good service mechanically the ferries are comfortable and on the whole reliable, the staff are friendly and always helpfully . I much prefer this route to any other However £100 for a day return on the weekend in January is outrageous also £200+ for a summer return if it wasn’t so sad would be laughable. Travelling home last Sunday afternoon 12.20 the ferry was 3/4 empty am i supried ! Maybe an out of season fare reduction for weekends and late atfternoon/ evenings

The trip out on Friday was poor due to a problem with the ferry on 12th Oct so we were delayed by 2 hours. I understand that sometimes there can be problems but the apparent lack of organisation around the roads approaching the terminal in Portsmouth was appalling. I heard later that people were delayed over 6 hours and it must have been horrendous for locals trying to get home. The trip back on 19th Oct was great as we arrived at 10:15 for the 11:00 am ferry and got on the 10:30 which was the new boat

Very exspensive! Staff can just be plain rude! Most of the time the ferry is running late. The only good thing I can comment on is one lovey member of staff acctually stopped the cars coming on to the ferry so I could quickly get my dog and baby out the car. As normally the cars are parked so close together you can’t get the baby seat out.
