“Booking is easy online but, as you already know, your prices are absolutely ridiculously high. I travel often to see my elderly mum on the island but we are separated more than we should be by your prices. Your strap line of bringing families together should be "keeping families apart" because I would travel much more often if you reduced your fare to a more affordable level. Most crossings I have done over the summer have been half empty. I remember 10 or 15 years ago the ferries would be rammed full with the decks heaving with visitors. You are turning people away from holidaying on the island with your prices.”

“Good crossing but too expensive. DFDS Dover to Calais 100 min crossing 5 day return economy £162 afternoon crossing. Wightlink Portsmouth to Fishbourne 45 min crossing 5 day return economy £209 afternoon crossing.”

“Great Service on Ferry & Back. Not So Great Service when I rang up to ask a question to head Office" I Asked why was it £85 to go to Yarmouth & £135 to come back to Lymington !! The Response I got was its above my Paid Grade ? So I had No Answer??? Hence 3 Stars”

“Whilst this ferry service is second to none and I cannot fault it, I feel the fare for a small car is becoming prohibitive. Last year I paid a total of £168 for a return journey. This year I paid £296 for the same journey. I have relatives on the island so my visit is not just a holiday. Hence my rating of 3.”

“Most of the staff are really nice and very helpful. But sadly the prices for the car travel are to high. The prices of the food and drinks are expensive also you have made it cashless which is terrible. Dog's on board make it clearer where they are allowed because staff say nothing which makes it unpleasant with dogs barking and watching people eating”

“Not impressed with the new system /barriers at Portsmouth when we arrived there was a long queue, just don’t see the point when you then have a human telling you which lane to get in. One improvement is definitely the upgrade of the interiors of the boats and the cafes. On returning the journey was much better just like the old days.”
