You put the price up never know what the cost is you have the monopoly on it and take liberties With the cost

I was charged an extra £25 on outward journey for submitting caravan dimensions that were measured by Wightlink. ( length spot on, height wrong). I was charged extra £49 on return journey of same booking as I interpreted time as pm where it was am. Wightlink apparently use 24 hour clock and did not clearly confirm time as am on booking confirmation. I will use another ferry operator in future.

I travel on the fast cat service everyday and since the refurb in Feb. we have had ongoing issues and timetable changes. It might be great to change the rush hour ferries to once a hour but the people that use this every day is getting sick and tired of the way this company is run. And what do you get for this constant disruption a half hearted sorry. If this was the railways I would be getting quite a bit from delay pay scheme and this needs to be brought in for wright link so they pull there finger out and realise this isn't some pleasure cruise there are running but a service a lot of people relies on to get to work daily.

There was a dog mess smeared all over the floor at the top deck which hadn’t been cleared up. People that had booked an hour later crossing were given priority to board the next available ferry, although many passengers whom arrived in time were not allowed to queue separately for the booking we had, and had to wait without enough seating for over an hour past the the booking we had paid for. This was shocking service given it should’ve been predicted as it was a sunny bank holiday weekend, and a better queueing system organised. Im pregnant and travelled alongside my two children and I was not even offered a seat while waiting over an hour in the heat. Not recommended for sunny weekends - as the organisation is useless.

Had to travel on the car deck because I am disabled and had to spend entire journey in my car surrounded by every other cars alarm going off, after complaining I got a refund but was still a miserable experience and the journey back wasn't much better. They need to take a good look at their disabled practice. If they had a no-star option that's what they would have got

We always use Wightlink, although it's very expensive. The crossing over from Lymington to Yarmouth was good, as always. However, we later got a text to say our crossing back had been cancelled, due to mechanical failure. We were booked on a later crossing, with a much longer journey the other end. It was a joke at Fishbourne, chaotic, disorganised, the staff gave us conflicting information. Never again!

On Sunday 27th Jan the staff in there green jackets were poor if only they had walked up and down the rows of cars to let people know what was happening apologising for the delay there would not have been confrontational dissent between customers and staff instead they just avoided as much as they could even when I asked please can you tell me what is happening just kept on walking by very disappointing need more training on customer service

Total shambles - Ferry cancelled with one days notice - put onto another booking which didn’t work - re booked onto later ferry which then left port 40 mins late - no notification of late running - no announcements in port while waiting - the couldn’t care less about customers continues

Poor. Expensive. Unreliable. Prone to cancellations to suit Wightlink financially by cramming two ferry loads of travellers onto one ferry.

A ferry was withdrawn from service on Friday morning (12 October). Information wasn't relayed to customers until around 14:30 whilst on route to the terminal in Portsmouth. Reason given was a broken down ferry. Latter to find out that all passengers had been lied to and the ferry’s certification had expired. Staff at the port gave very little info and said to us they hoped to get us on the 21:00 crossing, three hours latter than booked for. From the little info recived no apology was offered. Overall not a good experiance on what was my first time using Whitelink and possibly my last.

Appalling handling of scooterists on Friday travelling to the scooter rally , made to wait 2 hours while cars and vans boarded before us , after many years using you myself and fellow club members will not be using you again ( over 200) members , we will go from Southampton next year
