The price is extortion to go across by car. Also take note prices are put up when there is an event on or a public holiday! I missed my 1:00pm ferry due to heavy traffic on my 120 mile journey and was told I would have to wait until 8:00pm to get on an available slot. This really worried me but luckily I was allowed to board the next crossing.

Outrageous costs, and far too many delays or cancelations.

Service was ok but the price is ridiculously expensive! We have had to use the service for nearly 50 years due to family living on the island and the cost is crippling, particularly in the summer or at bank holiday times. Does the Solent become more difficulty and costly to cross at these times or is it an excuse to make money?

Return crossing from Yarmouth to Lymington delayed by an hour on 20th Aug at 16:10 due to generator issues and the vehicle ferry door unable to be opened.

Recently bumped to a ferry an hour later due to operational difficulties. No stand by option for an earlier ferry which they say were fully booked but unless they operate as the airlines do and over book I do not accept that everyone turns up all the time.

Having arrived at the terminal at 1.30pm for the 3.00pm ferry we were told "too early " come back at 2.05. This we did only to find that we were now at the rear of the queue and one of the last on board. Obviously inconsistent advice being given out. We had intended to have lunch before boarding but decided against in view of the bad advice given.

Arrived early and yes I could take the earlier ferry which was not even half full. So why make me pay extra 15.50 pounds. It was already expensive as I could have gone to Dieppe out of Newhaven cheaper. Use some discretion and be more competitive in these days of hardship. Ronald Bailham (travelled 7-10 July)

We were booked on the 8.40am ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth which was late arriving and did not sail until 0900 hrs. No explanation or apologies were given. Also, people that were booked on the 1000am crossing were in front of us in the queue and boarded the ferry before ourselves. Totally disorganised, our worst crossing ever! Plus tannoy messages are very quiet.

All refurbished but the approach roads aren’t there were vehicles queuing in Portsmouth for the 10.30 11 and 12 ferries all at the same time we missed our 10.30 boat as was no organisation at all outside the port. Nightmare half the toilets were out of use so had to queue to pee as well.

Still overpriced, thank heavens for Teco Clubcard Points, & now the new ship is uncomfortable for pet owners.

Good telephone service. On board facilities good. Delays and very poor communication from anyone on the day, left in a car park to guess what was going to happen. No explanation or apology from captain on boarding.

Hi, Very disappointed this time with wightlink we missed the ferry at the start of our holiday because of the queue as only one person checking in then on the way back we got the on the new ferry and it is awful the vibration at the back was bad enough to rattle your teeth! which is were we had to sit because of having a pet, which also brings me onto the fact that why are made to feel like third class citezens just because we have a dog the chairs are hard and the place is cold and horrible!

Far too expensive. Must be the worst £ per mile in the world. Monopoly should be broken. Staff and service very good but food queues massive.
