“So many sailings were cancelled on my original choice of route (Portsmouth-Fishbourne) I knew the sailing you rebooked me on would have been full to bursting. I changed routes to Lymington-Yarmouth to avoid. Having got to the terminal 66 minutes early (you do allow up to 60 on your ticket) I was told by a little jobsworth in the hut to come back in half an hour. When I refused to drive round burning fuel, he relented and I queued up, managing to get the earlier ferry, which was far from full in any case - so much for the little jobsworth. On the return trip I was bounced off my booked sailing because of a broken down vessel earlier, and had to wait for 90 minutes until the next one. I was livid. Clearly you have nothing but contempt for your customers.”

Dear James I was sorry to read you were affected by disruption when you travelled with us recently and apologise for the poor service you received. If you were delayed to your booked sailing time by more than 90 minutes then you may be eligible to claim some of your fare back under our compensation policy, please see our website for details.
