“All was fine until our return journey on Monday. We were booked on the 10.05 ferry and arrived half an hour earlier as requested. Despite this we were not given a place on that ferry as it was full due to an earlier cancellation. Unfortunately the 11.05 ferry was also cancelled so we did not leave until 12.05. We were given a free drink as compensation but given our further onward journey we had go of course have lunch unexpectedly and it would have seemed reasonable that this at least would have been complimentary or some more appropriate offer of compensation.”

“Would like to see discounts for relatives of islanders who frequently travel to them on the island. I have children at school so most of my travel is in the half term/holidays. I travel to the island at least 10 times a year and would really appreciate some slack on the fares.”

“Wightlink should be 5 star because after using their service for over 7 years now we have only had to grumble Less than a dozen times but of late the Lymington to Yarmouth route has had too many problems and the route has become less reliable”

“Good Service. Clean ferry. Good facilities. Timely crossing. Only negative is price, which seems excessive for a day return with car. A combined reduced price for a day return would be far more acceptable, which would increase my usage of this service and allow me to visit my daughter, whom lives on the Island, more often.”
