I don't shop there anymore after 2 bad experiences. They were obviously defective items which l did not notice until later. Shoes different width which l wore out of store and promptly returned no problem.as my one foot could not STAY down in that SHOE while walking. Designer long winter coat...100.00 ...pockets we're sewn so small that only a kleenex would fit in them...unfortunately left in in closet to wear later in winter...bill not kept. It is my opinion they sell IMPERFECT ITEMS.

I would give them zero stars if it was an option, and 1 star is too high for this so-called "WINNERS" it should be called "LOSERS". I have been shopping at this retail store for over decades and spent loads. But recently, their customer service is no longer up to par. Especially regarding clearance items. They are not proactive with checking their prices that it's accurate, and we as customers have to be subjected by their subtle hints that" we are the ones to change it". Hello Winners staff, are you aware that these stickers, once you try to pull it out, they start ripping. I used to work at a retail store, and we were told those stickers are very secure, and that we were trained to look for any type of rips if the price does not match on the scan. That's what you should look for instead of "accusing the customers" in a subtle way. Otherwise, honour the price if you do not belong to a scanner code of practice. But now I understand why Winners does not volunteer to do the Scanner Code of practice, because unfortunately they are not proactive in checking the price that they put on the items. Or unless you have a security person watching everyone who shops in the store and have proof that we are the ones that change the price, which is absurd, then treat your customer with the utmost RESPECT and in GOOD FAITH. And it was even a waste of time, contacting the head office with this complaint because it happened a few times. And not once did they ever say, we will contact the store to make sure that they will be proactive with checking prices, especially the clearance sticker price. Actually, I did advise them that I will go to the Media about this, and here it is. I did not appreciate and flabbergasted that the customer service, is not the way it used to be back in the 90s. Despite my BAD EXPERIENCE , I will continue to shop at Winners, but I will also continue TO MAKE NOISE WHENEVER IT HAPPENS AGAIN. You can count on that! So Winners, I hope you see my complaint and start doing your best to ensure that your prices, especially the clearance, that they are ACCURATE. And for us, customers who experience this issue will not have to be subjected by cashier, who do not know what it means to honour the price. This is on your Winners, if you made a mistake with the price then that's your fault not the customers, and you need to honour the price. Of course, I was able to have Winners honour their price. Because, they failed to do their job properly, and they need to be held accountable for their mistake, because they get paid to do a job. I truly hope they will deal with this issue, as I would hate to see this store crumble because of something they need to address seriously, as it's an inconvenience to customers, especially the ones that are too afraid to make a complaint regarding prices that are not accurate when it gets scanned. This is a Wake -up Call Winners. Have a nice day!

Winners used to be my favourite store but it is not anymore. The stores managers are rude and argumentative- what happened to all the well trained managers 🤨 The Westshore winners manager (Tracy)instead of trying to listen and calmly explain was argumentative and disrespectful. How was she made a manager without proper training in Customer Service. I was told that Winners doesn’t need to pack the purchase for a Customer anymore if they don’t want to …. With that kind of attitude and Customer training I predict the stores won’t last very long. It was my last time in Winners.

I bought a $25 token Christmas Gift card. When the person tried to redeemed it, it was empty. I was embarrassed. I'm sure she was as well. I went to the store. Stood in line fore 10 minutes for customer service. The lady asked me if I was sure that the person that I gave it to hadn't spent it. I felt embarrassed. It was like she was accusing me of stealing. Her supervisor wouldn't help me. Told me to phone head office Customer Relations. I asked for a Manger. The refused to see me but told the supervisor for me to phone head office. Phoned. Long menu followed by we are experiencing a larger thsn usual volume message. Sure they were. 40 minutes and someone finally helped me. The card was defective. No enough numbers. No apology. Go back to the store. Ask for the manager. They'll have your new card. Of course no manager. One of the clerks gave me a new card. Then the supervisor came over to tell me that she was right. The card wasn't good. No kidding. Maybe why I went there in the first place No apologies from anyone. Like they were doing me a big favor. Worst services that I've ever experienced. That's saying something. I'm 66 years old. I will never shop there again.

Hello Earlier today Jan 27/2023 at around 2.0 p.m. I went to winners store at 4841 yonge street, to return a pant I bought for my brother a day before that was on sale. The pant is black in color size 42. It looks new, no dirt on it of any kind one of tag was still intact I had the price tag and the receipt. My brother tried the pant for a quick few seconds this morning but it didn't fit him. I presented everything to the employee at the cash register her name is close to saida. She looked at the pant and said that the pant had been used and that she didnt accept to return it. The pant looked very new had nothing on it other wise I wouldn't have bought it for my brother and I brought it back the same condition as I t was the day before. Now , I am on power wheelchair and I usually buy clothes and stationary from winners in same location and other location so I am a regular there and one other place. And sometimes I buy clothes and can't try them on in the store because I am tired and it's very inconvenient for me to try the clothes in the store. And always I returned clothes in the same condition I buy them. But today she refused twice to return the pant I told her tel me where the pant show that I've used it she couldn't support her argument. Another male employee came and said that he was going to call security but he didn't because he didn't have a case. So I went outside and found the security in the same building i showed him the pant and he confirmed that the pant is new. I told him that in order for me to return to that store she need to apologize because she stressed me for no reason. But the security is nice guy and thaTs not his job. For almost one year I've been buying alot of clothes and stationry from winners. But now I am thinking she is changing the return policy on me whenever she wants .shes the manager in that store. And why am I the exception. I asked for an apology the male employee said no on her behalf. I think I am being discriminated against and that I will not tolerate. I gave them the benefit of the doubt before and now I am fed up that's why I am writing this review. I will think 10 times before buying anything from winners because now I am thinking it might not be returned. I would like to hear an apology from the manager female and the male person other wise I will never return to that location again and I will tel everybody I know about my experience. Thank you hope to see a resolution.

Ordered a winner gift card for my daughter on Dec 13 for Christmas. Paid an extra $12 for express shipping. It is now Jan 2, with no delivery made. They said it would be guaranteed 3-4 business days. Multiple support emails sent with no response. Calls made into customer service only to be told they can’t help. You pay for express shipping and don’t even get a tracking number. They’re very quick to charge you, and then not help you whatsoever. Absolutely infuriating. I will never support any tjx company anymore.

I was checking out number of items today. When the sales lady got to a sweater, she said this is the wrong price and IMMEDIATELY RIPPED OFF the clearance sticker. I asked her to stop and she didn’t, I asked her to call the manager and the manager would not honour the price. I have uploaded a picture of the item, after the sales clerk ripped off the sticker and stuck it back on for the picture and the manager who would not make this right!

Men Beware You are buying women's clothing. Zipper, pocket, fit or pattern. You are buying a woman's ( whatever size it says s,m,l + you are buying a female ribcage or waist. Beware before you buy. Zipper. Right hand push down and left hand pull up, Pockets are also another indicator of "Who" these garments are meant to fit. I get it Men are irrelevant and have not the mind to pick out clothing for themselves without approval from ... Yes .. you.... Guess what... I have taste... Obviously the Buyers or pretend to be Buyers fail at their Job. Plain and simple... You have not the right to force me to Zipper on your side.... To button on your side or to accept That's just the way We are doing it. Take everything thing else but let me have my dignity. Let me have my Zipper. Let me have a Man's fit without being called whatever You may call Winner s. The Gospel According to Her Thank you for telling me I Am Not Welcome at Winners Department Store or any of your seriously flawed Automatic Voice System to get a proper response. I am pity all the guys who get stuff from Winner's this year. Her Closet will be full and the get nutting. Sincerely Proud to be a Guy, And Proud to be Gay Can I still say that? You need a better educated Buyer. The one you have has little or no experience in Men's Clothing or size differencing Gender for fit not Politics. You're supposed to be the more intelligent prove it. Now check your stock and prove me wrong then go back to school. Measurements honey. . My Ribcage is different. Look before you buy.. seriously, Her closet in is full of clothes meant for you. Sincerely, Oh yeah, check out the ( sarcastically said, the IVR at said company, Menswear does not exist) and prove me wrong. Seriously. I guess not all profiles know all. So I have a solution A shunned male from Winner's Her Department Store

Manager attacked me in the store before I could reach the cashier with my 139 dollar Sorel boots because I had put shampoo into my carry bag to take to the cashier from my cart. I was falsely accused and and banned from the store. I've spent thousands at that store and most of their clothes are garbage. I'd look for shoes there but not anymore. They'd usually have major flaws anyway. Never again Winners thanks for the humiliation. Never shop at Winners.

at the Queensway location, I found a dress on the floor without the price, when I was cashing out I asked the cashier for a price check. She got the merchandiser Sandra to come back with her price of $280 for BA&SH dress retailed $450. I pointed out to the merchandiser that another same brand dress on the floor was priced at $99 (retailed $360). this merchandiser was extremely rude saying that this is the price. the poor cashier kept apologizing to me for this SANDRA rude behavior. HOW LEGAL IS IT FOR merchants to make up pricing/doubling the price of the items? COMPANY SHOULD train their employees not just HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS AND PRICING BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. this merchandiser SANDRA was extremely RUDE and had no product knowledge.

I have been an extremely loyal customer since 2007. Purchased thousands of merchandise, almost always not returning items. During the pandemic l haven't shopped for over two years. About 6 weeks ago l finally felt comfortable enough to go out and shop again. Today l was heartbroken because l came back to bring back one dress that l purchased about a week ago without a receipt. I was told that l couldn't bring back anything without a receipt. Goodbye winners l will be shopping elsewhere.

It used to be fairly good. Never as good as TJMAX in us. Lately I have gone over few times overcrowded racks with bad cheep junk. Better learn the lesson Target Canada did. Target Canada was nothing like the us one. Canadians are not stupid.

I have been buying from winners and home sense for years. May be for about good 15 years. But today something strange happened. I bought an item from winners few days ago and I went to return it to the other store close to me and they refused to return it. They said that they have similar item in store for lesser price so I should return it to the same store. So weird to hear this. But winners should start putting some more info about the item purchased. Instead of just household. There r 100s of items in household holding the same number but prices r more or less. There is no proof of purchased item was expensive. It was very embarrassing for me, when the manager asked me if I paid this amount written on the item.

I was at the winners location 650 Matheson Blvd W. I was purchasing several sale items and had gone to the cash to pay. cashier decided to take all of items and started checking their tags and stickers. And this time again cashier did not tell why she was doing this, or ask me if it was okay. She told me that it was too low of a price???? I asked her if the discount was done by the store as I do know that it can be verified on the original tags all of which were still attached by security tag. NO WAY I WOULD have been able to switch tags?? or if I did put on another 'SALE' PRICE it would not match the original tag which is still attached by security tag!! ANYWAY it gets better this cashier gave this one specific dress to head co-ordinator. Dress Finders Keepers (not a huge brand) it has original price as $69 and reduced to $9. She takes the item and goes away to check? and in mean time the cashier starts to scan and check all the other tags??? the cashier telling me that she does not see this sale price for this jacket in the system..... AGAIN I asked her who put that sale price on the item???? This whole experience was extremely humiliating and in violation of consumer protection act. the coordinator brought back the dress all of the tags and discounted prices where legit but not the unprofessional behaviour of the winners??? staff

Terrible quality of clothes. Way worse than Zellers ever been. When Winners opened, they had beautiful selection, but now Winners only sells garbage, not even worse looking at.

I visited the Winners store today and they refused me to go inside at 5:42 pm. The current situation is understandable and I patiently offered them that I can wait while the store capacity is full. Once few people are out of the store, I will go inside, no problem. The manager then stated that we are now closed for today and can’t take customers. The closing time was well verified by calling at the store today . At 5:42 pm, she denied a customer to walk in the store that is well before the scheduled store closing time. Why would the store keep that time if they can’t let customers in. I would never go to Winners again. Worst experience ever! Regards Ramy
