I really love the concept of individualized skincare, and was super excited to receive a three month trial of the products in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to get started using this product that was specifically compounded to meet the needs of my skin,, but this product just didn't work for my skin. I have very few wrinkles, but I wanted to be proactive and nip them in the bud before they became really noticeable. Instead I ended up with an extremely bad case of acne because of the Niacinamide, which is a problematic ingredient for many people including myself. I haven't noticed any change in my wrinkles, and my face has become super dehydrated after a month of using the Future Formula. I will say however that the Dark Spot Remover is fabulous. I had a dark spot under my eye, and within a week of once a day use, it is gone.

Agency kindly gifted me two shipments of their skin care in exchange for my honest review. I when I first signed up I filled out a questionnaire about my skin care concerns and skin type and provided photos of what my skin currently look like. From there, a license physician created a compounded product skin care product for me to try out. I really liked this process because it felt more personalized then buying skin care at the store which can sometimes feel like throwing darts in the air trying to figure out what I’m looking for. The first shipment included the future formula which included around 10g of RX skincare in a cylinder shaped bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle looked nice but I struggled with the product because the compound had a lot of crystallization but it was otherwise ok. My skin did not experience any reactions and I liked how it was leaving my skin after use. But I did run out of product about two weeks in or so… way before my next box was even put together for shipment. That being said, I may have used too much product but it did not give any specifuc directions such as, use one pump or two pumps. The next shipment included 24g of the future formula and 18g of the dark spot formula. The future formula has more of a creamy gel consistency. Three pups are enough for my face, neck and décolletage. I really like how my skin feels after application and my skin started to look really nice the next morning. After applying the future formula, I followed it up with the dark spot formula. The dark spot formula is a much richer and thicker product. For this one I feel like two pumps is plenty to address the dark spots on my face and it melts easily into my skin. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I think it has been making my skin “purge” or maybe it’s just making me breakout… I feel like it has started to Make some of my dark spots light enough but it’s definitely too soon to tell. The only thing I can notice at this time are my new dark spots from the new breakouts that I have been getting on my face the last couple of weeks. What I have noticed is that I cannot use any other skin care product like moisturizer on top of this or it does begin to pill But I do feel like I need a moisturizer after using these two.

I was excited to have the opportunity to try this product free for three months through Influenster for my honest review. I have uneven skin tone and occasional breakouts. My skin is extremely sensitive to everything, and after about two weeks my skin erupted with small bumps all over my cheeks and jawline, which is not where I normally break out. I emailed for support from the dermatologist through the app. I got an answer in about a day and was told to change my moisturizer and cleanser but I continued to have a bad reaction. The second time I sent a message to the dermatologist it took about 5 or 6 days to get a response and they recommended that I stop using the tretinoin as it appeared that my skin was reacting to that ingredient. Sadly I think this was not a good fit for me. I appreciated the chance to communicate with a dermatologist but I did not feel that I got answers on what would best help my particular skin by the end of the trial period. This may have been partly due to trying to “stick it out” before realizing that my skin was reacting to the ingredient rather than purging.

I received a 3 month trial for free in exchange for my honest review. I have sensitive skin that reacts any time I make changes to my skincare routine, but this time it didn't react at all! It did really help with my hormonal acne breakouts, but only if I was religiously using the product every single day. If I missed even one day, I'd get major breakouts immediately. I haven't noticed any difference in the appearance of my skin otherwise: no improvement in texture, fine lines, etc. Overall it seems like an okay product, but not something I'll continue using for the price.
