“I ordered the 1” wooden ball knobs for gnomes that I make. I’ve ordered them from here before and have been really happy with the product. This order, however, was not as good of quality. Some of the knobs have a lot of dark spots in the wood. Like maybe the wood used had mold spots. They also were not sanded as smoothly as they were in my previous orders. Overall though, I’ve been very happy with my purchases from Woodpeckers.”

“All went well with my order. It came on time and the pieces were just fine quality wise. I saw a baseball game board online but didn't like the design, so I thought I'd try to make one. One of the details I didn't like about the "prefab" game was it didn't have a pitcher's mound. I used the 1 1/2" split wood balls for the mound. I drilled a 1/4" hole through it and used a dowel to mount into my drill press to sand off the top of the mound. It worked great!”

“The quality was not what I expected, it was flimsy. I made another purchase of the 1/4 since I had ordered it previously through Amazon. I returned the 1/8 inch and I’m not pleased that I would be charged $3 restocking fee for each one, a total of $30 since I ordered 10 of them.”

“I did not get the right size, not your fault but mine. I guess at the size of the round part in the middle of spindles. These are for the back of a bar stool. I am not sure if I have waited too long to return them, may I? I still need them, in a thicker size. Sara Sellers”

“I’m rating 4 stars because I received the wrong size cut out. However I was still able to use it and the customer service I received was great! I enjoyed this project a lot and the quality of cut outs definitely met my expectations! Will purchase again.”

“Dowels were generally good. Only complaint was that a couple in each of the last three orders had pretty good curve in them. I was however, able to turn them such that they fit into the holes I had drilled. Made Pickler triangles and arches/rockers with them.”
