“I have been a fan of the Woolroom since I discovered you on line last summer, I love your products and have all my beds decked out with lambswool mattress toppers, duvets and pillows. I saw the Woolroom at Burghley Horse Trials, which is great for me, as is the shop now open at Stamford. The products are all high quality and I can honestly say I am sleeping better, wool is a far superior material for bedding than feather or foam. Do not hesitate to change, you will not regret it.”

“I decided to try a wool duvet and mattress protector and was soon converted! As a result I now have two different weights as well as getting an all seasons bale for the second bedroom. I think this is a wonderful product. Not only does it mean I sleep so much better than before, but the products are of a really high quality, correct warmth with the right amount of weight and much less bulk that man made duvets. Well done the Wool Room”

“I love my super-light wool duvet! It's perfect for these warm summer nights, and feels really luxurious. My only quibbles are that it doesn't seem to be the same size as my duvet covers, and that after I placed the order I heard nothing until the parcel was delivered - a dispatch email would have been appreciated! But overall, I'm very happy, and will be coming back for a pillow soon.”

Dear customer, thanks for the great feedback. On the size issue, please could you measure in cms, the length and width and get in touch at info@thewoolroom.com. If there is a big size problem we'll see what we can do. The other thing to watch out for is a miss-sized duvet cover, which is less noticeable with a feather/down/synthetic duvet. “Transformed my nights sleep. We purchased the pillows, duvet and mattress protector. First night sleeping with these was best night sleeps in months. Everything the manufacturer has claimed is correct. Quality is of the highest standard. Initially thought these were a bit expensive, but considering how improved my nights sleep is, worth every penny!”

“Excellent service. My order arrived the next day. Easy to use website and good choice of product.i have bought a cot blanket for each of my grandchildren And can thoroughly recommend the quality of the blankets. The pram/ cot blanket washes beautifully and comes up almost as new after each wash.”

Dear customer, we're thrilled you're so happy with your baby blankets. However please note that we don't recommend machine washing for this product - very cool and gentle hand washing is ideal. The baby blankets are made from super-soft untreated wool, the baby duvets may be washed on a wool cycle in the machine. Many thanks, The Wool Room Team.

“I bought the 'super light' duvet to try combating overheating at night in bed but it did nothing to help my situation. In fact I was warmer than usual and had to revert to my 4.5tog manmade duvet after 3 bad nights sleep. As I hadn't purchased a whole 'set', the company would not accept a return under their '30 day guarantee' and as it had been 'tried' they would not refund. I already have a 'natural' mattress and use pure cotton bedding, I even use air conditioning in the bedroom, so everything was stacked in favour of the wool duvet. Obviously I may be able to make use of it in the autumn but I didn't need another duvet for then and I still need to find something for high summer! So, no it doesn't work for everyone. N.B. Eventually the company did offer to collect the duvet and check it had the correct amount of filling in for the range. But worn down from trying to get my point over - I didn't do this, I've put it down to a purchase gone wrong.”

Dear customer, we're saddened to read that you're still not feeling the benefit of a wool duvet. We'd like to stress that in our initial conversation we offered to collect the duvet and check that it was the correct weight - this pick up is at no cost to the customer. As we mentioned, this is a new product for summer 2014, however we've sold many of these super-light wool duvets over the last 2 months with no returns and no complaints. In fact you'll see that the reviews from other customers are overwhelmingly positive. We do highly recommend the complete sleep system (with guarantee) for anyone who has severe problems with overheating in bed. Even though you have a natural mattress we cannot guarantee what materials are in there, we can only do so with our own bespoke products. We're very surprised that you're favouring your 4.5 tog synthetic over your woollen duvet. However, from years of experience, we'd encourage you to try your wool duvet again as they can sometimes take a few weeks to adjust to. The science behind our product states that the woollen layer will draw moisture and heat away from the skin and disperse this humidity into the atmosphere. This breathing process is impossible with synthetics, feather or down products.

“After months of trying to find comfortable pillows which are not too hard, too soft or make me really hot I discovered The Wool Room pillows. Purchased two & they are fantastic, really comfortable & as they have (safety) zip's you can add and remove the wool filling to get them just right. One thing to add - I was concerned that these would make me itchy as i am unable to wear wool clothing/suits but no worries in this respect, really comfortable. Thank you The Wool Room - I will be back soon for a wool mattress protector!”

“I was slightly sceptical about the claims the wool mattress and pillow protector would regulate my body temperature but I am now an evangelistic convert. I've suffered from several nightly sweats for over a year now and for the last 5 days, since buying the wool products, I have not had any. Great service too, text from the courier giving a one hour time slot for the delivery. Brilliant!”

“The order was received very quickly. The cot bed duvet feels more like a cover than a duvet and isn't really 'huggable' as advertised or like the other wool duvets we have for ourselves / our older child. Initially, we thought it wouldn't be right for our 2 year old, however we have discovered it is actually perfect as it doesn't swamp him and makes a good transition from his wool sleeping bag. First night in his 'big boy bed' last night and he slept through so obviously comfy and warm enough.”

“We ordered the new Superlight Summer duvet and was quite concerned on arrival that it would be warm enough - it was so 'thin' and lightweight. It looks like just two pieces of cotton cloth sewn together and any filling is hardly detectable. However, it is the best duvet we have had. My husband has COPD and I have recently been diagnosed with asthma. So I guess the duvet does what it says on the 'can'! I shall now be saving up to buy something a little warmer for the winter months and maybe looking towards a full wool 'system' as funds allow. Perhaps one of the best things about buying from the Wool Room has been the excellent communication with Zoe. I tried the online chat too as I am well aware that small companies can be overstretched and the last thing office staff need is a lot of customer phone calls. Any form of communication has been excellent with this company. (But then I am Yorkshire born and bred and this company is very close to my old stomping ground!) Good on yer The Wool Room. Sithee soon....”

“All the products we have bought from the Wool Room have been first class. We now have a double layered duvet which suits summer with one layer and winter with two. The pillows are comfortable and keep their shape beautifully and our mattress cover fits well and stays in place.”
