“I bought this wool duvet because I was very pleased with an existing wool duvet that I had been using for about 3 years (from a different company). Delivery was excellent and it arrived promptly. I received an hour's window from the delivery driver. The duvet is lovely, nice high thread cover - but it has a smell that resembles disinfectant which has not gone completely despite putting on the clothes line for a few hours. Also it is about two inches wider than standard duvet covers so it buckles up on one side. I was not expecting it to smell like this and do not remember reading on the listing that it would smell. Also it did not mention this in the documents that arrived with it or what to do to get rid of it. One week later on usage, and the smell is still there, albeit, slightly less.”

“bought a couple of the classic wool pillows, they took a couple of nights to get used to probably because they were firmer than what I've had previously but I now find them very comfortable. Thank You”

“Finally after receiving my bed frame (from another supplier) can I now enjoy my new wool mattress and wool bedding and it was worth waiting for. I cannot fault the products or customer service in any way. The products are simply excellent quality, packaged well and excellent attention to detail, the way that products should be made but in my experience not so much these days so I am a very satisfied customer. The customer service also excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the helpful staff, in particular Zoe who I had dealings with. From the very start explaining the process and detail of the products to the very end keeping me informed of delivery. And the best part of all, the materials are completely natural all Wool, no chemicals or bleaching, what more could you want? I would highly recommend this company and will only come back to The Wool Room in future should I need any more bedding. Thank you for a pleasant experience.”

“The service was extremely proficient and first class in my experience. Though regarding the product I purchased all seasons wool duvet, I have been little disappointed so far, as for me it has not lived up to the write up. As I am not sleeping better and am actually cold often, which I did not expect under a wool duvet, I have both duvets popped together. I do feel the cold a lot and the duvet is a lot heaver than duck down and not as cosy. I am going to get in touch with the wool room in hope they can suggest something that will help, as don't want to give up yet!!”

“We thought about purchasing a wool duvet for quite a few months before we finally decided to go ahead. We can honestly say it is one of the best decisions we have made. I do not sleep well, (age related !!) but since purchasing the duvet, mattress protector and the pillows I now sleep very well indeed. I have already started telling friends and family what a good purchase it would be.”

“Until I found the Woolroom I had lived deprived sleeping life - why I never learnt about wool duvets before I do not know... I now can't wait for to get into bed! ;) I suffer from a conditional which at times makes me very hot and sweaty - I do not feel uncomfortable at all and can sleep right through the night sandwiched between a wool duvet, mattress protector and pillows... My husband doesn't toss and turn so much and we sleep better through the night. I purchased a superking all seasons duvet 300g + 200g - major downside is that the poppers aren't strong enough to keep the 2 duvets together. I'm thinking when winter arrived I may have to sew them together. The heavier duvet ( 300g ) is currently in use while it's spring - it's light in weight, while it's not a light fluffy cloud like duvet, it certainly is warm and drapes right around you. The wool pillows are quite firm, but label says every now and then you have to tear the wool apart to soften the pillows up - yet to try. The mattress protector is good and is deep enough for a 30cm mattress.”

“Excellent website, easy to order and fast delivery of my new wool duvet. The transport co came when their email said they would, which makes a change! As to the duvet itself, wow - so soft and comfortable. Glad I purchased the lower 'tog' one, would have been too hot otherwise, just right for this time of year and probably even in the winter too.”

“We bought a single deluxe wool duvet 4.5tog for our daughter who is almost 2 years old. She has just moved into a single bed and we wanted a duvet that would last her a long time. Currently she's only sleeping with it at nap time and still using a sleeping bag at night, so we're not using it all the time, but she loves it and we're really happy with it. One benefit of the deluxe duvet is that it's machine washable, so if she were to have accidents we can easily wash it. We had great service from the woolroom staff who phoned back to answer questions and gave excellent advice on their products. I would highly recommend the woolroom for anyone looking for the best products.”
