“After being assured that the item that I wanted to purchase was in stock, i was later emailed, 7 days after the estimated dispatch date informing me that the product was not currently in the wordry stock but was assured that you were doing everything possible to get the item. It is in my understanding that your products are usually shipped on a Sunday but I've recently ordered something else after being reassured by a member of your customer service team that the issue would not happen again and here we are,,,,, past Sunday again and no dispatch email.”

“I attempted to make the transaction on the website with the credit card and got an error. I then tried again with a different credit card. I think I tried at least 4 times and got an error ever time. So I purchased the book somewhere else. But then I got the book in the mail from wordery! Now I have 2 of the same book....”

“I was disappointed that the cover of the dictionary was badly creased and torn when it arrived - the packaging was ok so it must have been packed like that. I would rather have paid the £2 extra for a pristine book! As my first experience of Wordery it wasn't great as I'm now not sure what quality to expect and will hesitate to use this route again.”

“my delivery was a mess and i am stuck with purchase which should have gone abroad. items were for next day delivery but never came till 2 days after which ruined the whole aim of buying the books.”

“The name "Wordery" did not appear anywhere in the magazine article advertising the discounted price of the book. Having been directed to your website, I discovered that the price was higher than the one featured in The Oldie. Nevertheless I went ahead and made the purchase and the book arrived safely. I complained to the magazine about the inaccuracy and was told that there was a disclaimer at the beginning of the article which covered this. I do not approve of this practice and will not be making any further purchases.”
