The photo that was shown by the item I bought was not correct. Because of that I bought the wrong item. In the mails that followed I was told to send the comicbook back to you. But the shipping costs more than the item so I didn't do that. Too bad.

Competitive pricing but order will take ages to arrive (10-14 working days in my case). Customer service is prompt as a positive.

I have sent the product back. Knowing the Hayes series of books and looking at the image I found it very deceptive. When the book arrived it was approx half the size of a normal book. I was also disappointed regarding the quality of writing.I expected at least element of humour.(which was not the case. )

My order from Wordery was great and the process was smooth but unfortunately on arrival, the cover of the book that I had purchased was ripped. Not the end of the world but not ideal when purchasing a book new!

When opening package/envelope the flap glue was firmly fixed to the front cover of book, so causing tearing and glue/paper residue on cover. Interior of book is fine

Whilst my initial two books arrived promptly, my other two books have now been further delayed. I did not realise this would be the case.

The price, delivery and user friendly site were all very good, however the book was a gift and I wrote a birthday message to accompany the book. What went out was not my message and in fact was really quite embarrassin, particularly as the recipient had no idea who it was from! It could have caused alot of upset, for this reason I would be reluctant to use this site again which is a shame.

The requested biography on the life of Paul Gauguin turned out to be a cartoon picture book. I returned the book, but have not yet been advised of a refund. This would ensure complete satisfaction.

Hi David - We've triple-checked our advertising for this book and the description begins as follows "A graphic novel style biography". We haven't yet received the book or an email acknowledgement from you that the book's been returned. We don't feel we have provided poor service in this case but we're sorry to hear you feel that we have.

Ordered a set of 12 books, all indicated as being in stock. A few days later received an email to say that one was unavailable so money for that book would be returned. Checked the website and still showing as in stock with a few available. Next day received another email to say a further 2 books have been cancelled with the money being returned. Again checked the website and one of these was showing as in stock and available for immediate despatch and also at a lower price than originally ordered.

There were, sadly, issues with stock on this order which we were able to resolve only after the cancellation of some of your items.

Quoted delivery time was 3-4 days. It wasn't dispatched until the morning of the 4th working day after order, so it was never going to arrive in time. Fairly disappointing response from customer service when explaining this wasn't good enough - they just about admitted it was late. Can't say I'd use this website again.

Service was ok. Unfortunately the book wasn't suitable for my granddaughter. The webpage made it seem it was what I wanted, but it wasn't. It would have helped if there were a couple of pages from the book shown so a customer can see what they are buying. If I had, I wouldn't have wasted my money.
