I received the wrong edition of the book I ordered and when I contacted customer services there was no sort of compensation at all. I was looking for a specific edition which was the only one displayed on your website, which is why I purchased with you. If i had wanted the older edition then I could have got it cheaper elsewhere...

International delivery to Canada was poor (arrived finally Sept.4) took over a month to get here.

Good product and good price but delivery ridiculously slow. Almost 2 weeks to deliver something that could be just posted out. Some companies offer next day delivery.

Hi - Great to hear you're happy with the book! We do offer express delivery for some of our books :) The item you purchased can't be ordered with express delivery. Our product pages always indicate the anticipated dispatch & delivery times combined, for your book it was 7-9 working days (Mon-Fri).

Confusing. I ordered 3 books was told they were 'delayed' then told that one was cancelled but the other two never arrived - but they have only refunded for one. Now I ordered a single copy of the same to make up the third one and it came immediately. What is happening????

Shipping took much longer than expected. Ordered another book at the same time from UK to Australia, came much quicker from the other seller.

Wasn't happy with the way you send the book in cardboard sleeve without plastic wrapping or bag. Item arrived partially damp on corner due to it had been raining.

Sent three books when I had ordered two, so now I have two copies of the same book. I did try to explain by email but with no success . A phone contact would be so much easier but they do not seem to have one.

My pre-ordered book was late at being dispatched and I was not given any update on the order: I had to email in myself to find out what was wrong. I did get a prompt reply, however, from a friendly customer service rep.

Nothing was pleased so pleased and satisfied with your handlingg of ORDER to the ROYAL MEWS SHOP........BUT I WANTED MORE COPIES of the BOOK than you had in store.....I was too surprised to receive 10 Separate POSTINGS.......I intended to give you 5 STARS Clicked No 5 I thought.......BUT it reegisteers as ONE.........You DID better han that.

Book delivered water damaged. Obviously happened in transit but also reflects poor choice of non-waterproof packaging on the part of Wordery. You have to be confident in an online retailer that the item will be delivered in good condition. Probably won't use again due to this.

The packaging for me standard sized paperback was ridiculous. Not only is this a total waste environmentally but it also meant it couldn't be delivered through my letterbox and I had to collect from the Post Office at considerably inconvenience. Won't continue ordering if this is a permanent change in packaging.

Hi Jamie - thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We try to put items in the most suitable packaging possible in order to protect them. All our cardboard packaging is made from recycled material and it is also suitable for recycling itself so it doesn't cause any waste. The package was left on the doorstep as I was away. My neighbour saw it and took it in because rain was imminent. The rain was very heavy and the book would have been ruined, had it not been for my neighbour's initiative. I would have expected the delivery driver to call at one of my neighbours in the event of not getting answer.

I have ordered more than 5 books but only receive one bookmark. Book depository is more generous on this.

One of the clothbound books that I purchased had black ink stains on it. I'm a great fan of wordery because of the convenience and variety of books available, but it was disappointing to find the stains when the books were delivered.
