“Excellent instructor who has had a myriad of experience in the workforce working at heights. He was a real asset to the learning environment. I thought it would be a good idea to have us all suspended a few feet above the ground to get a feel for the harnesses and whatnot, but that would be my only suggestion.”

“I felt that the course material (Fall Arrest) was fairly comprehensive. There was a lot of material 'buried' in the various pages which made for a lot of 'looking' when reviewing it before doing the examination. I also felt the exam was unnecessarily difficult. For example, in questions that asked for 'all' the correct responses, missing one out of 6 meant the whole question was wrong. And the question regarding the steps to be followed "after you, as a worker" refused dangerous work was confusing. I thought it meant what was I, as a worker, supposed to do. Adding into the question "...that must be followed by the employer (?)..." might help clarify how it should be answered. Just my thoughts.”

Hey Bill, Thanks for your thoughts and the feedback on the course. The exam for Fall Protection has received some similar feedback recently from other trainees and as a result we are reviewing the exam format and will likely be changing it in the near future. “good training. one issue or drawback for the price, is reference material would be provided instead of links to purchase the volumes in both physical or pdf. the free pdfs i ended up using were out of date and made it difficult to follow along in certain sections”
