Product received was not as per the description given on website. Was told by World if Camping that the erroneous parts had been discussed with manufacturer, but that product was as per design, so it had “no fault”, However we purchased item based on advertised features. The matter is still a dispute with World of Camping. Very disappointing and poor response to issue do far.

Bought an air awning two years ago. Had it up for a second time within the first year just over the year warrenty. What happens? It rips. Contact world of camping to be told nothing they could do. Got it repaired ourselves. Just been away again for a long weekend one gust of wind rips the whole top panel off. Can you tell me how the whole awning side panels are made with good quality material but the top is like paper. Surely an awning should last a lot longer than having it up 4 times max in two years.

Be careful ordering anything on pre order from this company! They will take your money straight away and when you chase goods up later may tell you they cannot supply. Totally disappointing and who knows how much longer they would have had my money for had I not chased them after 2 weeks! Poor service!

Very poor service. I ordered a groundsheet and carbon monoxide sensor and then topped up with lots of odds and ends to make up to free delivery. The groundsheet was out of stock and did not arrive when promised. Then the delivery was part despatched but the sensor was forgotten! I eventually got a refund for the two items I really wanted but never got and paid for all the fill in items I didn’t really need. Not a good experience!

We have had the most dreadful experience with World of Camping. We ordered 4 camping chairs on the 17th December as Christmas gifts. I phoned up to double check they would arrive and they assured me they would. 2 arrived, and then a few days later we got another package - a fridge-sized heavy box containing a stove. Obviously, we had been delivered someone else’s order. I called, and they couldn’t get the box picked up until the 3rd Jan. We had to host Christmas in our tiny 4x4m living room with a huge box in the way as we had nowhere else to put it. It really marred our Christmas as we were already tight for space, but we couldn’t warrant leaving it outside for fear of it being stolen and it wouldn’t fit in the car. To make matters worse, I was so desperate to get this box out of my house that I took the day off on 3rd Jan (when they were supposed to collect it) and cancelled all of my appointments. I waited for the message containing the delivery time frame, but the delivery never came. At 4pm I phoned up and asked how long they would be - turns out they forgot to sort out the delivery. Finally, on the 9th January, after nearly 3 weeks of having an enormous heavy box in my 2 up 2 down, it was collected and the other chairs delivered. I have tried to be polite, honest and respectful throughout this whole process, but right now I am really angry. No sort of compensation was offered, no real written apology, just a ‘sorry’ on the phone by the call handler. I will NEVER buy from this company again and I urge you as a customer to look elsewhere. They ruined my first time hosting Christmas in our first home and I am simply shocked at the lack of organisation here - one muck up, ok, but to forget to sort the collection? It should have been a priority.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read how unhappy you have been with our service and after reading your order notes we understand there were continuous errors. After speaking with customer service they explained you had been very courteous about these issues and are sorry to hear you felt it spoilt your Christmas. You have explained in your review that you did indeed recieve 2 of your 4 chairs ordered prior to Christmas and we have since sent you another 4, making 6 received in total. We are happy for you to keep the 2 chairs in compensation for these errors occuring and sincerely apologise again for this happening to you. We believe if you read through our other reviews that we are performing at a rating of 4 and a half stars showing that this not our normal service.

I haven't got my order yet. Dup failed to deliver on Monday and instead of delivering the next day they asked me WHEN I wanted the item. Well the answer is asap.i wasn't able to get back to them the next day so they didn't deliver it. Now they dont seem to have any idea of where it is. Please can you resend and tell them just to deliver it or leave it in the shed.its not rocket science!

Ordered an outwell windbreak on Sunday. Paid for next day delivery expecting it Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, got in touch as problem with UKmail. Promised Wednesday.still not arrived.emailed again, promised Thursday. It’s now 9.30pm Thursday and we go on our trip tomorrow..no windbreak.. very disappointed.

Terrible service. Did nothing with my order for two days then tried to blame me when it was discovered that order would not be received in time due to their delay! Refund then took far too long to come through. Awful company with uncaring staff. Would not recommend or use again.

Thank you for your review. We have looked into your order and can see that you paced your order with us on Tuesday 31st July on a 3-5 working day delivery service. The weekend are still not classed as working days. You were unhappy that your order was not pushed ahead of those that ordered before you. We work on a first in first out system with our customers to give everyone a fair service, unless a faster delivery is requested and paid for. You were not prepared to do this. You were given screen shots of your refund which was on Thursday 3rd August, the same day you demanded a cancellation. We are not uncaring and people will see from the majority of our reviews that this is also not the case.

Stove ordered three weeks before our holiday and despite chasing, and being told it would arrive, it never appeared. I have now received an email saying there may be no more stock until next season. Very frustrating!
