Use Aliexpress if you are ok with parting away from your money without benefit. I compare Aliexpress to gambling. I ordered an item and it stated delivery within 15-25 days on the vendors page. 45 days later and the item was not delivered. I contacted Aliexpress 'customer support' and I was instructed to wait 10 days. After the 10 days passed, I was instructed to wait yet another 10 days. Aliexpress requires 90 days to open a dispute, so you won't be able to dispute the transaction with your credit card or bank. Aliexpress ' customer support', would not be on the customer side and will not give you a refund and it won't matter if you provide tangible evidence. I ordered the item from eBay from a seller in China and the item was delivered when promised.

AliExpress is great if there are no issues. But if your package does not arrive, or you need to get a refund and send something back, you are pretty much on your own. Their appeals process is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. How do you provide evidence that you didn't receive something? That's what they ask for. Buy at your own risk.

If not happy with the order you received and wants to return it, It will cost you more than the price of the order. So, you get stuck with the order that did not meet your expectation. If you buy from a store is Toronto and then you decide you did not like, you could return it for full refund within 30 days. I think Amazon is the best online in case you want to return the item.

A buyer for 6y + overall I have had more than 60% of sales of dubious descriptions and quality that I have opened a dispute. Now with Covid delays Ali extend the buyer protection if not delivered ontime or not as described from 60 days to 90 days. I had opened disputes because protection time had expired and Ali system automatically flags your purchase as delivered, so you need to keep track of where delivery is. My opinion is dont buy expensive products on ali because in my experience of several hundreds of purchases the large priced items are 85% more likely to be copies of a branded product that they just copied and made with inferior parts and materials. Clothes and shoes dont last long and ALL the shoes I bought have fallen apart within 6 months and are of poor quality material. Ali has many useful small price items but beware of claims regarding the material they are made from. Ali is useful for my hobby supplies and for all the years I have less than 5 suppliers that I trust and have repeated business but thats from hundreds of different suppliers. So new comers tread careful and if you ask a pre-sales question about an item and dont get a response from the seller its 95% chance that the same seller wil be problomatic after you buy. So ask specific questions like is it real stainless steel because a simple test is a magnet will not stick but you get some mixed steel (magnetic) thats chrome plated as an example. Test a seller with questions before you buy...in the end it helps your chance of a dispute refund but having said that if you choose refund and no return because its not as described Ali now rules you return for a refund but the cost of post is not economical so consider that also when you buy. I have been as neutral as i can be be but pass my years of experiences to the community. ..... Oh and those cheap watches, they are just that cheap and nasty with many showing chrono functions but the face just is a non working and just tells the time with no other small hands moving...so ask the simple stupid questions before you buy. Most of the photos are altered to look nice and high tech compared to what you get in your hand....just dont be naive and trusting and understand the mentality is that they will cheat you if you allow it. sadly as I said i have found just a few worthy suppliers over the years that are honest and think about word of mouth referrals. anther point is many sellers dont have stock but are drop shipping so some orders take many days or weeks before dispatch...Good luck!!!!

The shipping logistics to USA is horrible, the worst of the Chinese site I used. They will extend the "in trasit" time to cover the real shipping time that is usually months after the original promised date. Just be ok to wait 6 months or more for an order. I ordered 10 different items from different stores on the site. Still waiting after 5 months for the last item...then I will close my account.

I have purchased from them several times. They generally advertise 1 moth delivery which isn't great but it's ok, at least when the order actually arrives on time. I have had several orders arrive 2 months after ordering. They don't even reach out to you to tell you why. To make matters worse, there have been issues with about 50% of the things I have ordered wrong sizing, broken, bad quality, not as pictured etc. Customer service sucks. You have to talk to a robot for a few minutes before you can speak to a human. They are kind but often times don't actually resolve the issue and instead ask you to wait. I am ready to delete my account as soon as I convince Ali express to refund my money for an item that was supposed to arrive over 2.5 months ago. We have been in a dispute for 2 weeks!

Aliexpress was good, now it's the worse shopping (shipping) place. I understand that COVID has an impact, I understand less when the seller does discuss to refund even when it has evidence that the packing is lost. To be honest I think the problem is that sellers use cheap providers like Singpost who do not care about the shipping. The bad thing is that Aliexpress does not ban such shipping carrier and that it's coming like a lottery. Sometime you're lucky and you receive your package but most of the time it's lost and it's complicated to claim the refund from some seller who are not honest and continue to push the delivery. On the other hand, you have serious sellers who use good carriers to ship and it's delivered in time. Aliexpress must change something regarding the accepted postal carriers for the delivery

I wrote an Anonymous review 1-day ago and I wish to correct one thing in that review so to be honest. My review starts with- quote: "NEVER will I order from AliExpress again. They messed up my order something awful." Unquote. The only thing I want to change is that they did not duplicate any of my orders. Everything else regarding my experience with them still stands. If there was actual customer support to resolve confusion and problems, I would feel much differently. Having gone thru this experience and gained knowledge of how they work, I MIGHT order from them again, but I would order only a couple of items at a time so to reduce any possible confusion.

I ordered four AA lithium ion batteries from Aliexpress. What I received in the mail, however, was a super cheap flashlight with the AA batteries inside. Why ship the garbage flashlight? The tracking number on the package matched what I received in the email confirmation from my order, but what I received in my package was the cheapest of cheap flashlights, batteries inside. The flashlight went in the garbage.

Some sellers are great while others are really fraudulent, basically lying to the customer. Really watch the reviews, and customer satisfaction

Guess I'm lucky, I at least received my purchase. T shirt VERY cheap material. Charging anything over $3 is a rip-off. Live & learn. Not again.

Out of five items I ordered three came in a reasonable time but they were less than $20 US each one. Definitely excellent value but the other 2 items worth over $100 US have not arrived. One seller has taken the money before the goods were delivered, the other I don't know yet. I doubt I'll see the goods as it's been 2 months. Yes I know there are serious problems in the world and I make allowances. But would I buy again? Probably not but maybe if something was cheap enough to justify the risk. Too many scammers out there.

Sorry to hear that I had bad experience. Ha ha ha. Not jus bad, and not just ones. 70% of my orders ended up in a fake shipment. They give you a truck number and you are waiting waiting waiting. Then tracking say package was successfully delivered. And you got nothing. Then fight for your money begins. Dispute. Then you have to proof that you are not an idiot but the other side. You have to respond to there mail and lots of headache. I still have 12 orders that hopefully on the way. And no more. Going back to Banggood. I used to have some small issues with them, but nowhere even close to what I have with AliExpress. PEOPLE STAY AWAY.

Buyer Beware. You might or might not get your goods. Delivery dates are bogus. Dispute process is a joke. Getting a refund is a hassle. Customer service useless!

I ordered a FreeSmilly raincoat on 11/11/19, and it was finally delivered on 31/12/19. Delivery was free to me, but I was unprepared for it to take 6 weeks. Customers should be warned about the long delivery time. The tracking number worked for me. I had to ask three times via Eva (supposed to be "live chat" but is no such thing) before the protection period was extended.

I ordered a FreeSmilly raincoat on 11 November 2019. It finally arrived on 31 December. The tracking number worked for me, but I was anxious that moving my order seemed to take so long. According to tracking on Aliexpress app, the order "left country of origin distribution centre" on 14 November, passing through "warehouse" and "accepted by airline" on the same day. Then changes to the tracking stopped. I sent three messages via Eva (I think its supposed to be "live chat" but is no such thing) asking for the customer protection period to be extended, and finally, on 8th December, got a message in my account that it was extended 50 days. This arrived just after 6 December, when the order "departed country of origin' (China). I just about could have walked faster than the flight from China to New Zealand. It "arrived at destination country" on 23/12. It being the Christmas public holiday in NZ, it is understandable that the parcel was not delivered until 31st December. Delivery was free to me, but I was unprepared for it to take six weeks. You should let customers know when they order that average delivery time is "over a month". I only find this out today, when I searched the internet to write this review.
