Six month ago I purchased a wardrobe from Argos, after building this wardrobe I noticed that the screws which had been sent out for the draw runners did not have the thread carved into them, so therefore I was unable to screw the draws on. Since then I have phoned up the customer service team multiple times and asked for the correct screws to be sent out. Argos have failed to have the competency to be able to do this. I asked to speak with the manager on a number of occasions and have been advised I would be called back and they have failed to phone me back. The customer service assistant advised me that their only escalation policy is to request a call back from a manager (which doesn't happen) or to email in (you don't get a response). I am absolutely disgusted with the service provided by argos and as a result am left with a wardrobe which is breaking as it has not been able to be built correctly.

Placed an order for click and collect. Email sent saying item was ready to collect. Went to store and staff informed me item has not arrived and extended collection date. Once again email sent saying your has arrived. Went back to store again and informed item has not arrived. Call customer services and no help what so ever. Still no date when item will arrive. Should have used amazon.

Bought watch about 2 months ago. Recently noticed a crack in the glass. Didn't expect it would be covered by warranty but they replaced it, no problem. Really pleased

After searching many sites for an exercise bike, reading reviews etc. I felt this offered just what I was looking for, in terms of size, weight and style. Good value.

Easy to order and fast to pick up in store. They were very helpful changing an item I returned after changing my mind. Always low prices and you can check stock at the local branch.

Arrived 10 minutes before opening time, so I chose my product from my smartphone and ordered for collection. This enabled me to go straight to the payment desk as soon as the doors opened (there was quite a queue outside) and collect my goods. I was out of the store with my package in just over 5 minutes. Click and collect is really useful and prices are generally reasonable.

I ordered a fan, waited in for delivery and THEY DID NOT TURN UP. I talked on live chat and they said 'Error on their part' and will deliver next day. THEY DID NOT TURN UP AGAIN! contacted on live chat again and got told they had CANCELLED THE ORDER because it wasn't in stock the REFUND WILL TAKE 3 - 5 DAYS. So they have had my money for a week, wasted 6 hours of my time and I have no product!

I have just visited Argos High Wycombe Retail Park to pick up a fast track order. Purchase confirmed by email. When I arrived at the store -some distance from my home town- I was told the order had been cancelled by the 'system' and that I would have to cancel, repay and wait up to 5 days for a refund. I don't understand how the 'system' can confirm an order, withdraw funds immediately but take 5 days to refund customers? Staff were both clueless and unhelpful. When I told the manager I would complain the response was along the lines of 'that's fine' or 'no problem. How do stores like this stay in business?

I ordered a small fridge freezer for my work office in East Ham. The two black guys that turned up following several up to date ETA calls were helpful and kindly unloaded the fridge, brought it up in our lift, wheeled it to my office, unloaded it , took all the packaging , put it where i wanted it, explained how to commission it and left all in good time. Very very good service.

Ordered a shark vacuum cleaner online, it wasn't available at my local store but it was in stock at another store which is about 40 minutes away. The order was placed first thing Saturday morning and was delivered the same afternoon. Outstanding customer service, very impressed.
