Recently bought a TV signal booster from Argos online. I used their Fast track option and was, pleasantly surprised, to be served at their dedicated counter, within 1 minute of entering the shop (no queueing - wunderbar !!) As i had also received an e-mail a few days earlier, offering me £5 off my next purchase, which i then applied, i got the booster at a fabulously, reduced price. All in all, it was a quick, brilliantly serviced, transaction which will, have me shopping with them, frequently in the future. Similar companies could learn a thing or two from my experience with this smooth, effective, operator. And, to top it all, the simple plug and play booster which i purchased, added an additional 15 channels to my programme list. Win, win, all round. Well done Argos - keep up this kind of service and you will have the crowds, flocking back to your doors, time after time. Thank You, C. Thomson

ordered Sony tv to be delivered on Saturday evening. when I paid for it I got a message that my bank would not authorize it, I then called customer service to see if my order had been processed they told me it hadn't, I then checked my bank account and found out that the payment was being processed the bank told me that they could not cancel the payment and I would have to contact Argos. I did this and they said they could arrange the delivery for the time I had specified, I thought great they took the details and then asked me to pay for it again, you can imagine my reply, but I did give them my solution to the problem I am going to Curry's tomorrow

I bought a filing cabinet from Argos and selected a delivery date and it came exactly on time and the men who brought it were very polite and helpful. the filing cabinet works very well and was significantly cheaper than other similar products elsewhere. It is a narrow filing cabinet which fits better into the space I have.

I was able to quickly reserve my items online and then collect from store the next day. The store assistants were knowledgeable and very helpful. Overall very happy with the service provided and my products.

I needed to replace my dishwasher. After shopping around I found Argos offered it at a very competitive price indeed and it was delivered very quickly by two very pleasant helpful men. The whole thing was a swift and painless procedure. Thank you Argos!

I found that ordering in store somewhat of a trial! I was informed that they did not keep the item(s) in store and they would be able to order it for the next day. Unfortunately, I live some distance from the store and so had to shop elsewhere, their loss!

Speedy service at the counter and did not have to wait long for the Mobile phone. It came with free multi sim card for a network of my choice. Phone was also unlocked for use with any network. Receipt was sent to me via email which is better than a paper one that can easily get lost.

I ordered on ebay for delivery through Argos and the phone my daughter ordered was stolen in the process (signed for at Argos, but not delivered!) The Argos team in store, and the online support team, were all very helpful, but I am now more wary of costly purchases online. Argos resolved the matter to my satisfaction.

Received completely broken fireplace , called to arrange for replacement and collection of broken item, received a new one and the broken one has been left in the middle of our flat for two weeks now,had to call and arrange collection service, they haven't showed up on scheduled day and we needed to call to remind, bare in mind we have no storage for large items. The women on the phone was rude and made it sound like we did something wrong even though they delivered completely broken item and didn't even bother to collect it, know I feel like we should just through it in the bin.

Anything I want to buy is ALWAYS Out Of Stock. When I bought an mp3 player, I tested how it works and I didnt like it in general, because it was just a cheap crap they didnt want to take it back, because It's been used... I asked member of staff 'Then how would I know if it works at all if I didn't check it??'. I got exactly the same answer 'I can't take it back, because It's been used', so I just walked out... Don't recommend Argos at all!
