Collected an item for return and refund. No refund given and they deny picking it up they say the collection was cancelled. I was there when it was collected from my house. They refuse to tell me who cancelled the collection, it was definitely taken by them from my property. They expect me to go to my bank to dispute the payment. They take your money and keep the item, total rip off. Never buy from this company unless you want to be out of pocket.

The staff at the Manchester fort are not helpful rude Iv tried to take 2 items back with a valid receipt,A iPhone lead and hold-all I was told I’d pulled the wire that’s why it heated my iPhone up I felt like I was being interrogated, then I took a hold-all bag back because I didn’t have the clear bag they couldn’t take it back they make their own rules up . Iv been shopping at that argos from the time it opened.bring back the old staff . I will not be going their again I’ll stick to Sainsbury’s Argos stores . Trust me don’t shop at the fort Argos .

Awful company do not buy off them. Ordered a bed and mattress they processed the payment but not the order. Then you can’t get your money back for 5 days. You try to speak to someone and it’s all robots. The customer complaints say there is nothing they can do. Please buy off local companies who actually care about customers. I will never buy off these people again.

Argos have a good products but work with dhl courier and they offer a poor service. DHL have many negative reviews and now I understand why.

Bought a Challenge Tower fan heater / cooler in Feb for my home office room. Used maybe three or four times in the cold weather than not used. Until last week (only 4 months after purchase) when I used it due to the hot weather. It worked for a couple of days then it stopped oscillating and kept on clicking like it was trying to oscillate. I went over to look at it and the top fell away from the base. I took it back to Argos Worcester Blackpole with my e-receipt and they refused to refund, repair or exchange. They claimed it was not faulty manufacturing and claimed without any evidence that I had broken it myself. It was pointed out to me that the single peice of internal plastic which holds the top to the base was broken and therefore I was responsibe. No amount of discussion would change their mind. I will never buy challenge again and I will avoid Argos in future as their returns policy is open to their own interpretation and gatekeeping and they accept no responsibility for faults and worse - blame the customer for causing the fault. Really shoddy customer service and a breach of consumer regulations.

FROM ONE TRANSFER TO ANOTHER AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT A SAGE BARISTA EXPRESSO MACHINE - WAS TOLD THEY COULD (FINALLY AFTER BEING ON THE PHONE TO SAGE AND ARGOS ALL DAY - THEY COULD COLLECT AND CHANGE AND THEN TOLD ME NOT IN STORE ALL OVER SUSSEX!!! - I TRIED MYSELF AND ON LINE NO BARISTA EXPRESS COFFEE MACHINES OTHER THAN CLICK AND COLLECT AS FAR OFF AS BARNSLEY BUT NO DELIVERY!!! - THEN I TRIED TO CALL HEAD OFFICE/CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ALL AREAS AND TOLD EXTREMELY BUSY CALL BACK - SO I TRIED TO CALL BACK 6 TIMES WITH THE SAME RESULT - I WAS IN HOSPITAL WITH AN EMERGENCY AMBULANCE COMING TO COLLECT ME WITH SUSPECTED HEART ATTACH I DO NOT NEED THIS RELENTLESS AGGRAVATION OVER SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE SO SIMPLE TO RESOLVE!! - TOTALLY AT MY WITS END WITH THE BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS BEING THROWN FROM ONE PERSON AND DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER - ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!

Just dont bother has not arrived for the 3rd time of them resceduling my same day delivery. Its now 3 days later.will be requesting a refund when the phone lines reopen tomorrow. i am going to go pick up my new printer from amazon prime at least i know it will turn up

I ordered on line like IV done all the time,this time it was my son's 6th birthday,I ordered for next day delivery my payment was pending 24 hours later still pending,48 hours still pending,got in touch with Argos it was a robot to tell me that after 24 hours the money should be returned in to my bank account,if not it would take 5 day to get my money,it's been 48 hours now still nothing,I'm a one parent family so I carnt go and buy more,I need to talk to someone but it's a robot all the time,so I won't be using Argos again

Have bought garden chair all tightly wrapped but now find chair unsuitable (too short for leg support) with Argos demanding goods be returned unopened. Will definitely not buy anything else from Argos if that is the case.

Failed to deliver a dishwasher on 2 separate occasions. Each time we had to wait in from 7am - 7pm. Each time we had to call Argos to find out what was happening - there was no communication from Argos to me at all and no apology given. In the end I cancelled and waited 10 days to get my money refunded. Ended up going with a local supplier which is what I should have done in the first place. First and last experience with Argos.

Bought two nordic 6+6 chest of drawers on 27th may 21, these cost 200 pounds each, please avoid these cheap drawers, the drawer fronts do not line up or close properly, no refund possible,

The fulfilment of orders is a joke. As soon as you have paid argos they wipe thier hands clean. If DHl cant be bothered to turn up no-one calls so you wait in all day. You are then promised a call back in 24hrs its now been 72 and today I was promised another call in 24hrs. Its a joke. Avoid any home delivery they just don't care about cusomters. The first item arrived damaged so I have now waiting in 3 days for one delivery. It would have been cheeper to hire a van and collect myself as I'm now 3 x days without work.

Faulty Microwave still under warranty. Asked for an exchange twice and nobody turned up after waiting up all night. No correspondence from the company. Disgusting customer service and will never be using them again. Will make everyone I know aware of the incompetence

Argos customer service is absolute rubbish. The reps have no power to help. There is no email address to complain to. The Twitter reps don't reply. I've got an Argos gift card with £208 on it that I cannot use because the Argos system won't accept the number. Argos say the card and balance are valid but don't have anyway to make it work. So they have my money and I can't spend it. Extremely frustrating and an example of how companies are making it harder and harder to complain to them. The only thing I can do is go online and write as many scathing reviews as I can

Absolutely disappointed with service. Placed order in store item is available , but as soon as done payment item wasn't available for immediate collection. Called customer services and had respond that sorry sometimes updates is not correct. Now need to wait for 3-5 working days for my refund. In my opinion this is crime and companies should be prosecuted for open lies and holding moneys for so long.

I've been trying to get a refund for the last 3 weeks. Guild has given me the reference number but Argos would not accept it. I've been in contact with about 8 different people in argos... and it still not over !!! they keep giving me contradictory information.

Completely worthless company NOW Ordered online -picked up from Sainsburys, but item not described correctly. After 45 minute on the bus I returned it but they want my card. WHY?... they had the details so what is the problem. I didn`t take the card. So I've got to go back -2 more x 45 mins bus journeys!!. Sainsbury`s at Westwood Cross is an awful place to get to. When you buy something online and return it or cancel it all companies i know of just return the payment. Since Sainsburys taken over Argos the company is now rubbish. The whole thing with Argos in Sainsbury`s doesn`t work. WILL NOT BE USING THEM although I have had many of years of good service in the past (prior to Sainsburys took over). I just threw the item in the bin on the way out.

Argos advertised tartan electric blanket,we ordered but was sent wine colour ,this has happened before ,then we rejected order,this time even though it was not as ordered we accepted because needed it. It has effected our faith in Argos ran by sainsburys.
