I first bought a Volvo XC90 in 2008 and then 2 Mercedes 450 GLS. Over the years, the service has declined greatly. It started with scheduling appointments for routine service and once they obtained the vehicle saying they didn’t have the parts needed and would keep my vehicle for days past what we discussed. Yes, they offer a loaner car which is never the quality or size that you are used to driving but it is helpful. What they didn’t tell me was that once you get a loaner car, you move to the bottom of the waiting list. If I had known this, I would have been willing to wait because I live in another city. Then I was assigned to a new customer service representative that refused to communicate the status of my car, never returned my calls and when I spoke with her in person, I told her I had been calling the number on her business card That she gave me and she told me that she never uses that number! She was condescending and dishonest. This went on for several years because I had prepurchased scheduled services when I bought my cars. It was the worst service I have ever received. My husband called and even complained and they continued to assign me to this woman. I don’t even want to get started on how they stand at check out with the keys until your payment clears. It’s absolutely insulting. It’s hard to believe that this is a luxury dealership. But they are the only Mercedes dealer in Columbia. So I now only deal with the dealership in Charlotte, NC. They are professional and do what they say they are going to do. They treat the client respectfully. I will continue to drive a Mercedes because I believe they are exceptional cars but I will never do business with Dick Dyer. They are a consistent disappointment. I have taken my business elsewhere.

Dick Dyer made me extremely happy! I received the best customer service that I have ever had. I contacted the dealership about the car that I was interested in. The salesperson, Roy Chaney, immediately responded to me. From the day I wear to the dealership he took excellent care of me. He showed me the car. He took me for a ride and then I test drove it. He explained price and did all the necessary details. He even took me there on the day I drove the car home! Best experience that I have ever had purchasing a car! Thank you Roy and Dick Dyer!

The Dick Dyer & Associates dealership is an exceptional Mercedes dealership. On a recent Holiday trip to Charleston SC. Our Mercedes S 550 experienced a run flat tire just outside of Columbia SC. It was 4:00 pm on a Friday before Christmas weekend. We found the Dyer dealership on-line and drove there. We were met by Ryan Smith who immediately took over and found us a new tire and quickly replaced the flat. We cannot thank Hank Dyer and his team enough for the making what was a stressful experience, a great experience. It was also my Birthday and we were able to make the party that night in Charleston. Hank and Ryan thanks again for providing excellent Mercedes service to an out of town customer.

A customer for life . I have purchased a S550, G-Wagon and my most recent purchase was a S600 MayBach and I am indeed a true fan of Dick Dyer and my wonderful sales lady and friend Ms. Jill, who has ALWAYS been professional, patient and pleasant. I'm so pleased I've introduced my eldest son Dr. Chris Butler who purchased recently a CLS450 . We are forever family and all purchases will be with Jill and the Dick Dyer family. Today, I went into Dick Smith Mercedes with the intention to see my 2018 Mercedes CLA250. I requested Barbara to be my representative, However, she was not at work today. Marjan greeted with sincerity whenever I told her I was selling my vehicle. Instead of using her assistance, I requested an African American ( Andra Lewis) to assist me. I was not being racist because, with my experience, African Americans tend to understand the nervousness of selling or/and purchasing a vehicle. BIGGEST MISTAKE.! I provided Andra with the pertinent information such as driving license and the registration to get the processing of selling my 2018 Mercedes CLA250 going. I requested Andra to pull up the the appraising tool NADA car appraisal for all cars. That website could tell everything you want and need to know about a vehicle. Andre only wanted to us the information from CarFax to provide me with the value of my Mercedes which was the very lowest price to sell a vehicle. He told me he had never used that tool which was a LIE. The reason I knew he was LYING because he could explain the different values and what each one meant. Based on the NADA, it showed the car true value of the car. With using the CarFax, it was extremely less than the lowest appraisal on NADA for my Mercedes CLA250 was was approximately 27000. The finance offer sent back a price of 24000. I understand a dealership has to make money but do not undercut a customer to get additional inventory for the dealership lot. One last situation that occurred. He asked if my Mercedes had a navigational system because he did not see it listed. He stated if it is not listed, then you do not have one in your car. This one thing that killed any thoughts of selling my car to them. Andra stated on the list of features, which he stated not using NADA, said there was not Navigation system. He asked me if you purchased a chip to set your navigational system then you have navigation in your. I was asked how much did I pay for the navigation upgrade. I mentioned we could go and look so see for himself there was a navigational system. He stated that I should know because you drive the car. There are other things that were said. Overall, I was disrespected, disappointed how things occurred, and treated EXTREMELY unprofessional.

This is the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! Brad, with his outstanding customer service, is an awesome salesman. He will make sure you get what you want and that you will know what you’re buying! I advise anyone wanting to purchase a Mercedes to go see Brad. It will be well worth your trip!

They made buying a vehicle so seamless, glad we made the drive from Charleston to buy from them. We got exactly what we were looking for with out all the hassle of those corporate dealerships. Recently I was informed my vehicle was no longer operable. I immediately contacted Andrew and he went straight to work to find me the perfect car. He worked so hard to make sure I was taken care of and received the best possible financing outcome. I am so happy I got to work with Andrew. He made the whole process quick and easy with his honest and caring disposition. I will only work with him from now on.
