I was asked 10!!!! Eur for extra luggage from the driver. I didn't receive any receipt for that, and even though I complained I was not informed that I could easily book it online at half the fee, and was treated very disrespectfully even though I was polite. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, and not the first time.

Our party needed to change our reservation so, we cancelled our first booking and received a voucher. I entered the voucher code which was not accepted, but my new payment sure was. Now, I've been doubly charged because customer service (or more accurately, customer disservice) advised me repeatedly in the same exact words (reading from a script which indicates that our situation is their stock-in-trade practice of giving a voucher code but not honouring it) that there was no way the voucher code could be entered after the purchase. In this day and age, that is complete rubbish. If this company has the ability to do online bookings, it also has the ability to adjust and amend those bookings. I will continue to post this review on as many websites as possible and will contact CBC Go Public!

I’ve taking flixbus many times since they first started up in Canada in 2021. Terrible dishonest company. At first it was super affordable and reliable when they wanted a good reputation when they were new in Canada, however the last 4-5 times I’ve taken Flixbus in the past year the experience has been consistently awful. They are consistently late by hours had to wait 4 hours at the bus pick up location in the middle of the night and they make it impossible to get a refund or trip date change charging you and extra $35 if you want to switch dates. The last and final time I took flixbus I was travelling from Ottawa to Toronto we waited for the bus for 3 hours and when I finally called customer service they told me that the bus “already picked up all the passengers and left the city 40 minutes ago” during the time me and 15 other passengers were waiting at the bus stop. The bus never showed up and the company refused to give refunds as the bus driver inputted into their system that they arrived at the destination without actually showing up to pick up the passengers. I will never use this company ever again there are so many other bus companies that are way more reliable and much cheaper in the long run. Do not risk it! Terrible terrible customer service.

This company is disgusting. What an absolutely terrible company that is an obvious scam. I accidentally booked a bus trip and tried to cancel just a few hours later. They would not refund a single dollar of the $300 they charged me. The bus trip was scheduled for eight days later. The link they sent me to cancel the booking did not work and their support team refuses to help me cancel the booking. Do not use this company unless you want to be scammed. Make sure you book directly from the bus company. If you happen to run into the same issue, make sure you file a charge back claim with your bank. You will get a full refund.

I was traveling in the U.S with Flixbus. I already understand and agree to their policy regarding vouchers-- they don't really disclose this clearly, but when you cancel a ride and get a "refund" for it, what it really is, is a voucher for less than half of what you had paid for the cancelled trip to be used for another Flixbus trip. It's not the greatest, but seeing as the tickets are dirt cheap anyway, I was fine with it. What I was not fine with, is that Flixbus does NOT make a customer service number clear for US riders to call without having to pay international fees. The number is a German number. When I made the call to discuss my cancellation with the customer service department (due to bad weather, terrible winter storm), they charged me 3 dollars per minute to my phone service provider. I got charged for the entire duration of my very short phone calls-- most of the time that was spent with those calls, was waiting. In total, I got billed for $132 to call the one customer service line I could find for Flixbus. I successfully disputed this with my phone service company, but Flixbus provided no help whatsoever in regards to any compensation. Don't expect any particularly responsive or helpful customer service. They save their own skin and don't compensate you for additional costs for circumstances outside of your control. I got 6 dollars back, through a voucher for Flixbus only, for this entire ordeal.

They canceled my bus at the last minute, and after 2 months of chasing them for my refund, they sent it through wire transfer and I lost 35$ in the process . I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

I would only take this bus if i don't mind being frustrated and annoyed due to frequent interuptions and rescheduling and poor customer services.

We booked Flixbus from London to Toronto. The bus never came. About 15 people were waiting with us for an hour and we decided to book the next one that was two hours later. Everyone was let on that with their previous tickets -while Flixbus mentions you need a new one- while we paid triple the price for ours. They will not give us refund for the second pair of tickets. The customer support told us that the first bus was delayed by 4 hours, without informing the passengers in any way :) Don't ever take a Flixbus.

No Stars this is a Scam I booked my daughter's ticket in November going from Ottawa to Toronto for the Christmas holidays. When she arrived at the bus the bus driver scanned her ticket and wouldn't let her on the bus saying her bus was rescheduled to 1pm instead of the 5:30pm bus. There was no notice or email of this. She showed him her ticket confirmation and he still wouldn't let her on. She will miss our family Christmas and be by herself over the holidays.

I bought Flixbus tickets this year several time, in Italy the company just canceled the ticket, but only one way, so I had to cancel the other way and pay!!! for it. Absurd! In Miami - Orlando destinations the busses were always broken down, delays all the time, busses has stopped literally in the middle of nowhere under bridges, bus inside was dirty, nothing worked, costumer service was horrible, the whole service was simple disgusting. I wish my review would reach out the 3 cofounders in Germany, as this is shameful and completely fooling with the passengers, not respecting people at all, who are paying them that their company can exist at all. Sad, that companies are growing and taking granted, that they have been founded and that is all. Do not understand also, that people are complaining and nothing change, through the year I have not seen any improvement.

My wife and I we live in New Hampshire her mom and father live in Lebanon Pennsylvania, Her grandmother visiting from Puerto Rico we’re invited to come to New Hampshire for Thanksgiving celebration. My wife has not seen her family in two years and was excited to celebrate and host Thanksgiving dinner for her family. Her family is low income do not possess credit cards, nor do they own a vehicle. We could not rent a car for them, so my wife chose to pay for them more than a week salary $522.93 Flixbus to book a 3 AM bus to Boston from Philadelphia two hours from their home. They secure their two hour ride and encountered an accident on the highway, which prevented them from making the bus on time. This trash company would not allow ticket exchanges refunds or no solution to accommodate whatsoever. Even a half price nothing go screw yourself happy Thanksgiving. We Did not even want a refund just the next bus available. Understandably, this is not their fault for the missed bus but this is not a single operated one bus company no remorse no system in place for these types of situations with a big corporation so if you want to spend your hard earned money and encounter problems in life and have them take your money feel free to use them because I’m sure if their bus was late and broke down and was in the same accident they would tell you to go screw in the same way they told us. They should be ashamed of them selves. Use them at your own risk of losing all your money. I am a manager at the Home Depot and I give away far more money for such smaller problems with more remorse and compassion to take care of customers they don’t care about their customers whatsoever.

Warning to lone Female travelers, Never use this service in Italy or Croatia, my girlfriend was sexually assaulted by a bus driver on her journey between the 2 countries. Called the police and Flixbus helpdesk who said they will look into it, but nothing came of it and it was swept under the rug.

My advice to new users DO NOT USE THIS BUS! My first purchase went terribly bad with damages of 300€ of hotel booking in Victoria, London. My bus was scheduled for 21.55 pm on 01/11/2023. Apparently the bus was cancelled. We only learned this while at the bus stop B5 in Rooseveltplaats Antwerp. I did not receive an email or an sms. The following day I struggled to reach them. When I did, I was greeted with "oh we sorry this happened" The woman on the phone had nothing to say other than promise a refund. That's not enough. I have to incur expenses for a journey I didn't make. Flixbus broke our journey to London. Broke my daughters heart of her best hokiday destination and destroyed my wallet of hard earned cash. I'm very disappointed! Horrible service.

Flixbus is a most dishonest bus company, unreliable and lie to the passenger. After Flixbus representative made a mistake and resulting I missed my bus, they instead of correct their mistake, they lied to me and the company won’t even care about their dishonesty, and told me that I have to pay for all the damages. I have missed my connecting bus to London at Lille, it was caused by the wrong information given by Flixbus Chief Lille. When I was at the Lille bus stop at 2:35pm and asked the Flixbus Chief Lille, about the bus information ( the bus to London departure at 2:45), he told me that the bus was not here yet, most bus drive doesn't speak English, also the Bus Stop is at the street of outside of train station, there was no monitor or any other information for the bus arriving or departure, so Flixbus Chief Lille was the only person who I can depend on, he asked me to sit down and wait. About 15 minutes later, he came to me and told me that the bus has left. he said that he made an announcement, but it was in French, I don't speak French, so I didn't know that the bus was actually parked there already. The Flixbus Chief admitted that he had made a mistake on this bus, so he called the Flixbus dispatch and see if the bus could stop at any of gas stations, I would take the taxi there because the bus just took off about 5 minutes, the dispatch told him that they would contact the bus driver and ask him to turn around to pick me up. I waited about 1.5 hour, and there was no bus coming back, so I asked the Flixbus Chief again, he tried to book me another bus for 18:10, but he could book that bus, so he called the dispatch again, after he spoke to the Flixbus dispatch, he told me that they couldn't book me for another bus, the solution is that I should buy a Eurostar train ticket, after I arrived in London, I should send both tickets ( bus and Train to Flixbus, they will refund me both ticket money. I asked him again that is for sure, he said to me with booking number, there will be all the explanation from his supervisor, so the flixbus will certainly refund my money. He wrote me an email address and his title for this refound. After I wrote email to Flixbus customer service,and verifying from Flixbus Chief Lille, they refused to refund my money and told me that it is just too bad that this has happened to me.

It's always terrible! No one ever knows where the buses depart from, and the drivers leave whenever they want, even if the passengers who bought tickets in advance did not get on the bus! The driver just decided to go early and sneeze, they wanted you to waste your time and money! The service does not return money and you will be guilty and have nothing to prove. Even we have prove.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. First of all mind you I travel monthly on Flixbus and I purchased a ticket and got to the destination early with time to spare as I see the driver pulling off. I stopped my car infront of him and got out waving my hands and he drove round me and left. I still had 10minutes left until departure time and called customer service complaining. I explained please help me today is my daughters bday and she is really expecting me to arrive this afternoon. They said sorry we cant help and said I had to pay full price for the next bus. I went and booked a new ticket paying double the price and adding an additional 6 hours to my trip for the next bus. He showed up 45 mins late as a greyhound bus. Since the tracking app DOES NOT work on the website to figure out where your bus is at and since the GREYHOUND bus driver did not make an announcement saying this is the FLIXBUS replacement then I lost my money on that ticket as well not realizing that it was the bus I had to get one. I called customer support and they could care less, no refund, no understanding to put me on the next bus, no compassion on any level all they care about is taking my money. U am now out almost $100 for a simple ride to Kissimmee that costs $36. Now I have to pay another $60 to ride on a competitor. Dont worry Flixbus I will copy and paste while posting a negative review on every single review site while im here kicked back riding your competitors bus to my destination today and I will never ride your bus again or delete my reviews until you resolve this.

Terrible service. The bus was late arriving and on my return trip, it was multiple hours late. I was stranded in another country during the middle of the night. To make matters worse, I had to pay for an expensive uber because the local trains were no longer running at my destination.

Absolutely awful trip from Buffalo to Rochester (USA) the bus came 1 hour late from the arriving time, the driver was quite rude and contentious. I had a seat place 20B, which was not existing in the bus, so I had to change my seat 6 times. It seemed that noone care about things and not even trying to hide that.

We were at the bus stop half an hour before departure time. Four more people were waiting along with us. The bus never showed up. We called customer service, and they said the bus had already left and that they would not return our money. The worst bus service ever. People should boycott this company so the company learns how to treat customers.
