“Restaurant in Basingstoke was quite empty at 5.30 on a Wednesday, but even still the service was quite slow. The biggest problem was during the meal my wife had two cups of tea and both times they came without milk so we asked the waitress for some for her to forget on both occasions. We had to go and get it ourselves. The food was warm and pretty tasteless.”

“Nottingham. They keep their high standard every time we go. Served by Liam when we arrived, extremely helpful and efficient, always moving quietly and with confidence. The food was very hot which is one thing I always insist on and of a high standard. Abi served the second part of our meal and again was pleasant and efficient. Enjoyable unhurried meal. “All was well until pudding. My daughter had fruit on skewer with chocolate sauce, I ordered tiramisu.The ladie came back to tell me there was no tiramisu but I could have the chocolate equivalent. I said ok. It arrived and it was an awful experience. A tiramisu is creamy, full of flavour, this tasted like water and had no texture, no creaminess. My daughter spat out the fruit in chocolate because it tasted weird. I tried it and the chocolate was the same watery texture and no chocolate flavour as I had on my pudding. I complained to the waitress and her answer was: we don't make it here, just serve it, I said that's no excuse for serving this. I then looked at the menu and saw that I wasn't given a tiramisu equivalent but a VEGAN cake, hence the no creaminess (as the tiramisu was described) or flavour etc was never going to be an equivalent. I still cannot beleive the cheek of still charging us after we complained and the poor excuse given considering this was advised to me as being the same as tiramisu but chocolate flavour, and it failed in all accounts. I have been telling just about everyone I have seen since then. I want an explanation as to how you could sell me this as the same, and ignore my complaint and I was the one advising the waitress of what she actually told me to get was made of?!?! Shameful staff training, poor customer service.”
“Ordered a take away from Frankie and Benny’s in Dumbarton 45 mins before collection time. Arrived on time to collect the food and was told it would not be long. 25mins later I am still waiting with no updates from any servers. My food is brought out and when checked an item was missing and all the food was cold. This is not the first time I have been disappointed- food missing and having to wait too long for order. We will not be going back any time soon. Appalling service. PJ”
“called in to frankie bennys in burton on trent ordered 3 hot dogs and chicken wings < first mistake> the bread roll was as dry as the gobi dessert there was approx. 14 chips on each plate the chicken wings came with no sides at all so had to order a extra bowl of chips. ordered cup of tea it came cup of water which was scolding hot we paid £50 for this rubbish will not be going back in hurry. absolute disgrace stay well clear”
“I went to Frankie and Benny's on Saturday in Harrow and had fish and chips with a 50% reduction on all main meals. Pedro served me , he was particularly affable and had a very pleasant personality, the food was very tasty and was hot, it was particularly tasty , i then had the apple pie with hot custard and ice cream for dessert , this was equally tasty. The food has improved drastically since i had visited there over a year ago and the service was excellent. A very nice experience.”
