“I purchased a £45.00 dressing gown for my wife several months ago for her birthday. She only recently tried it on and realised that instead of buying S/M I purchased M/L. I tried to repack the item (very difficult) and had by now lost the receipt. I returned it to the store (Oxford Street in London) and without hesitation or argument the item was replaced with the correct size. This is the reason John Lewis have such an incredible reputation on the High Street.”

“I recently bought some sunglasses from John Lewis and had excellent service. It was very difficult to tell the difference in the colour of the lenses on the laptop screen. The assistant went out of her way to look up the codes and to actually find the sunglasses in the store so she could advise on the specific lenses. I was very impressed with the help I received and got them posted for free the next day to my nearest Waitrose.”

“I recently purchased a Megamix Nepresso coffee machine from John Lewis. The machine was cheaper on the JL website than on Nespresso's own. I also chose JL thanks to their 3 year warranty over Nepresso's 1. Delivery time was 3-5 working days and the machine came in 3. Very happy with the product and service.”
