“I visited the John Lewis store in Cheadle, Stockport, today to buy a good camera, and was ably assisted by an exceptionally helpful and friendly sales assistant named Ross. He was very patient and understanding of my lack of photographic knowledge, and was able to explain to me how the camera functioned and gave me advice on how to operate it to best effect. This young man is a credit to the John Lewis sales team, and showed himself to be very respectful throughout my visit there to buy a quality camera, I eventually chose the Nikon P900 Coolpix after learning of its many qualities. Thank you Happy customer”

“I recently visited the baby department in John Lewis - White City and was so pleased with the customer service I received. As soon as I walked on to the floor, I was immediately greeted by two very friendly ladies - one named Nicola. She gave me some really valuable advice when looking at buggies. I found all the information she gave so helpful. She was so friendly and demonstrated how to use the buggies I was interested in. She was so lovely and I feel that I will definitely come back to this branch to buy my buggy! Such a great experience - Thank you Nicola!”

“Three weeks ago I purchased a Fitbit ,an xmas present from my son, first week I was delighted with purchase then it began sending false readings, very disappointing, contacted John Lewis by email,very quick response,they immediately offered a replacement,however I had lost faith in the Fitbit and asked if it would be possible to swap for a completely different item, I have to commend them ,they immediately agreed to this absolutely no quibble. Thank you very much John Lewis”

“Very happy to write this review, ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mum as a thank you for a family do. Unfortunately the delivery company didn't deliver them, we were very disappointed, I called JL customer service and received a full refund and my mum received a gift card, very helpful lady and excellent customer service. I was then very happy to order a new washing machine, a couple of days after delivery, looking on JL website I saw the same make and model washing machine was reduced in price, I called JL customer service and was again delighted to say they matched the lower price. Outstanding customer service 10/10”

“Hi, I have visited your store at Cheltenham this afternoon. I was interested in trying new make up by Charlotte Tilbury. Truly excellent customer service by Paulina. Rather then just showing me all the suitable products for my skin, she also showed me how to apply it all. Excellent stock knowledge. Suggested alternatives to suit my skin. Very pleasant and friendly. Left with few purchases and will be definitely returning to the store. Please praise!!!!!!”
