I have been ordering a calendar from photobox every year and have been really happy with it. But this year (2020) the calendar is on flimsy paper (it's usually like a thin card). and it was packed incorrectly so that the outer brown envelope it was in - bent and creased so the calendar is partly because it's flimsy paper. I would not longer recommend and will use a different company next year.

Photobox use to be excellent but their standard and quality have been dropping dramatically for the last few years to now a poor but expensive product. They have dropped a lot of their unique selling points, like, pre buying, their multi buys on similar products and combined postage, you now pay per item unless it is exactly the same whereas before you could build a basket of goods and pay one P&O. The paper quality has substantially changed as has the quality of the calendars. The calendars are especially lower quality. All have almost tripled in price. The build programme was excellent and this has gradually been reduced to basic. It’s such a shame. I will be looking else where for my photo books and calendars.

Very poor service. Spent a day putting together a special photo book for my first anniversary. I checked a few days after ordering to make sure it would arrive on time - I was told it would. It didn't. In fact, it's still not arrived, despite an arrival date of 31st Oct. They left no time to make alternative arrangements. Offered no refund, despite admitting that they messed up big time. The gift is now null and void as the time has passed. We won't be using Photobox ever again and we suggest reading about how they don't take responsiblity when they mess up your special orders and look at alternative companies.

Received 2 photos 1 perfect and one with missing head. Surely there must be a quality control officer or person that would of seen this. I'll stick to the machines.

I ordered a picture and selected landscape, then zoomed in on the photo. The software reverted the picture back to portrait without notifying me. Customer service are useless and refused to help.

Have used Photobox for many years and was happy with the service mainly in Photobooks and prints. My last order for 100+ prints was terrible. I asked for prints with borders and I only got borders on 2 sides and some with no borders. I contacted customer service and they said they would replace them. The 2nd set were exactly the same as the first set. I contacted them again and they said they would add credit to my account and gave me advice on ordering prints which I followed. The 3rd set arrived and they were worse than ever, many of them cropped in a ridiculous way and again no borders. The credit from Photobox did not cover this order and I paid over £10 for another useless set of prints. I don't understand this as I have ordered prints with borders before and had no problem. Anyway now I, a long standing customer am giving up and going elsewhere in the future.

Placed an order 18th April. Received an email to say order has been dispatched and will be delivered 13th May. Waited another week as I understand current situation could cause further delays. Still no parcel! 3 x emails later to Photobox and not even a single reply or acknowledgment yet. Terrible customer service from what is supposed to be a reputable company. Can’t believe they have nor even replied back. Probably will never get my delivery or my money back. Would not recommend as you maybe just giving your money away and getting nothing in return. 3 months on and and still no gift or money back.

Was really unsure ordering due to all the negative feedback about not receiving orders during covid times however I went for it and got my order within days, received lots of email updates from them also. Would recommend.

Where do I start? Five different photobooks ordered on Photobox in the last three months, ALL of them had to be reprinted due to poor quality! Pages misaligned, black covers and pages showing white margins, dull colours, overly dark print (compared to previous print of the same). Worth noting though, when you insist the customer service will reprint free of charge. But recent reprints have been worse than originals, just with different issues. Also the delivery times (as commented below) are really slow. I understand high demand may mean longer lead times, but don’t email me ‘expected delivery on xx’ and then deliver 2+ weeks later. DO NOT BOTHER, there are other companies with far superior quality for the same price point.

I would NOT recommend buying from Photobox. Ordered an item 1 Month ago and it’s still not arrived. Had to open a case with PayPal to get my money back. Shocking service

Outrageous customer service. I wrote them an email expressing my concerns about the safety of ordering a gift for my 81 year old grandmother during the pandemic crisis. My two emails were ignored.

Terrible service. My prints never arrived by standard delivery. I was advised that this would not be investigated until 14 days had passed. I was given a date to try again. On that date, I joined a queue of over 30 on their chat line as their phone lines are not currently manned. I was advised that I needed to try again the following day as the first agent had miscalculated the date. I sent a snapshot of the advised date. They disconnected.

Never again. Incompetent unhelpful staff, overlriced delivery, inaccurate information. Terrible website. Doesnt even support multi upload so every photo had to be uploaded one at a time. Customer service is the worst part. If they don't like what you're saying they just hang up on you or close the chat window. This has happened 3 times already and all I want to do is change the delivery address. Use ANY other photo printing site

We bought a book costing £130. There are about 1,000 photos of our trip to Canada and Alaska. My wife compiled the book over several days and toke screenshots of each page. She returned to next day and SEVEN pictures were saved. She spent the next week trying repeatedly to load, no joy. We have had to PAY for extra time to try and load what we have proof was there before - hopeless. This is not the first time we have had this problem and we have decided that no price is worth this grief. The only problem is we now have together the money back, but their customer service is as good as stated in other comments. IF you are going to use this site don't: Have big files Have a slow internet speed (below 20mbps) Be in a hurry. You should expect to reload your book several times. Expect to print books over about 40 pages, the files won't load.

Limited to 1 star as cant give zero. I placed a collage order as a XMAS present, loaded up photos for the collage and order accepted. On loading photos NO warnings given as to quality/suitability of photos for the project. On receipt the collage was awful clearly the source photos were not of good enough quality for the product. I had to cut up the collage to rescue one or 2 pics and hurriedly buy a new Xmas present. Despite 4 emails of complaint not even acknowledgement from Photobox. Avoid using this company
