“The North Finchley Shop is by far my most favourite shop in North London. It is very well stocked. The staff allow you to browse but are always available to help you. In the past I have bought an electric kettle, a hose pipe and other items. However, my favourite purchase are the packs of suet cake for the birds - £3 for 4. This is excellent value & well worth my journey from Muswell Hill.”
“I do not know what kind of outfit this is but they are not reputable traders and I feel I may have been scammed. I purchased 256 coffee pods for £69.99 which is roughly the market price. I think it highly unlikely I will ever see my £69.99 again. They were on the website as one single item; they did not sell them in other quantities. Six days later I received 16 pods worth about £4.40 in damaged packaging. Trying to get this resolved with customer services is hopeless. First online chat person never got back to me. Second attempt no one even responded. Emailed describing issue and got reply asking me to describe issue!!! No point in phoning as service deliberately avoids providing service as you cannot speak to a human. To date, they have had £69.99 for 10 days and all I have to show for it is £4.40 worth of pods which look like they have been trodden on. Excuse is "supplier" does not sell 256 pods. "Supplier" will collect and refund will be issued 3-5 days later. Now told "supplier" wants me to return it to click and collect store. It's only 400 miles away! I did not purchase anything from a "supplier". I purchased it from Robert Dyas. I did not pay a "supplier". I paid Robert Dyas. I have been told the "supplier" does not sell this item; it would appear I have bought an item which does not exist from someone with whom I was not trading! Is that a scam or not? It's worth less than £4.40 and it is their fault; why bother asking for it to be returned? After all, they have had my payment for 10 days already and I have nothing but a great deal of grief and worry. If you trade with Robert Dyas just wave goodbye to your hard-earned cash. They have no concept of customer service; Robert Dyas has regarded me like something contemptable in which it has trodden. I have no recourse other than to pass this to Trading Standards.”
“After purchasing a wall mounted Brabantia Rotary Air Dryer with cover included for the rainy months, I wanted to complete the Survey with a chance to win £250 worth of Robert Dyas vouchers but sadly, I could not log onto the Survey, which was disappointing however, I noticed that, following the purchase of this item, Robert Dyas promises to plant a tree, so this is
great for the environment. The price of the Air Dryer was competitive.
The lady who served us at the till was friendly and welcoming and the whole shopping experience was enjoyable.”

“I have placed three orders from Robert Dyas during the past year. I am very happy with the company overall and from my experiences, I would definitely recommend them. Communication about delivery is very efficient, prices are competitive and customer service has been excellent. My most recent order contained various food containers, two of which were unfortunately damaged. An e-mail with attached photographs to customer services resulted in a telephone call from them within 48 hours and the issue resolved to my satisfaction.

“I purchased a shed from Robert dyas ( or so I thought ) what a load of rubbish how it can be called a shed wafer thin can see daylight through the slats wood splits when nailing flimsy wobbly panels . If the wind blows I don’t think it will be standing the gentleman who is putting it up can’t believe the thinness and the poorest quality he has ever seen .after much debate of wasting time and energy Continuing the build we are going to take it down I paid £1200 for this pile of rubbish which is not fit for purpose I have attached photo evidence”

“Visited George st Hove for an ironing board, good selection on offer, chose a Brabantia, the shelf prices read £54.99 or £59.99. On arrival at the counter I was asked for £69.99. On investigation it was established that I’d picked up a C and the shelf price was for B, although there weren’t any B’s displayed only C’s. I had a £5 voucher so I went ahead with the purchase but was not happy with the lax customer support.”
“Do not use this awful company. I placed an order for 16 packets of Lavazza coffee and received one packet of a different coffee. It took me over an hour waiting on the phone, and via the virtual assistant, to talk to anyone about this. I was then told I had to waste even more time taking and uploading a photograph of the incorrect item that had been delivered, and arrange to be in for a courier to come and collect the incorrect item. Not until all that had been done, would I receive my original order. I have wasted nearly £80, and still not got what I ordered, and I can not now cancel my order as it is marked as delivered. Customer service??? What customer service?”

My parents and I have recently have just lost an immediate family member , their son and my brother , who we have not been able to see for 4 and half years due to Covid and him being abroad as Doctor, sadly he passed away upon arriving here and after one night passed away the next day.
As one can image we as a family in shock and coming to terms with the sudden and unexpected loss.
In light of this it was my wish to buy a new BT Twin handset for my parents to replace the old ones that they had for years and years.
I did my research and decided to go with Robert Dyas.
I called the nearest Robert Dyas to my parents, High Barnet Store and was received by a store senior / assistant, Linda
Linda at this time of receiving the call was very helpful, understood exactly what I was in need of, and helped me go through the different twin Handsets , BT, and further went out of her way to guide me to choose the best one’s per offers to choose from and also she was very patient , calming and offered very good service on the phone call which made me even more assured to go to store and review.
Upon arrival at the store, I asked for Linda, and she went above and beyond to take time and with patience and a smile to show empathy , and help me choose the correct and suitable BT Twin landline handsets for my mum and dad during this time.
I had no hesitation , and then going ahead purchasing , and a well done and acknowledgment should be sounded out and she should be praised for this level of very high customer service, both on phone and further in store , especially during this time of our family loss.
This , in this day and age is rare to see and be offered face to face customer service and compassion.
Linda is a credit to the High Barnet store , and I am grateful that she was serving me , and am sure she will continue to do so with many customers alike.
