“Terrible terrible terrible service. You pay for postage even though your product is expensive. They give you more than one date for delivery which means you missChristmas. Then they miss the latest date they give you. Final insult- they send an email to ask how they did. I dread to think but I imagine they are going to tell me it has been delivered (sigh!).”

I am furious with this company who charged me £10 delivery which I accepted as it was something I wanted delivered before Christmas… however, the delivery date has now been postponed several times and even after a complaint to them asking for a refund the response was totally unhelpful. Now there is another postponement. I have asked for the order to be canceled and a full refund for me. Dreadful service!”
“Avoid , another online company selling products where full payment is required only for them to send faulty items , and then treat you like a doormat over the phone, refusing to send a replacement until they receive the faulty item back because they trust nobody, how ever we pay in full and trust them to deliver, shocking service and hopefully with a bit of luck they at some point get their just rewards.”
“Very disappointing service. My order didn’t arrive on the allocated day. They were 2 beauty advent calendars so it was pointless to receive them after the allocated delivery date of 29th November. Automated response to the 2 emails I sent. Only when I informed them I would give honest feedback did they refund me. No apology just an invoice. Would never use again.”

“Took a faulty kettle back to Robert Dyas in Hemel Hempstead purchased online 3 days ago with PayPal on Amex.
l called head office and the shop was told by both no problem bring it in for a refund .traveling a round trip of 30miles .l get to the shop where some rude abnoxious girl Rachel starts tell me she can't process a PayPal refund. Real bad attitude with a big mouth.
I called head office again who told them to do the paperwork.
My point being horrible place bad attitude, terrible service. Could have told me in the first place that they could have collected it instead of wasting my time and gasoline.”

I emailed customer service to say I was cancelling the order and could it be collected as per their website.
After several emails and a Chat on website I received an email telling me to take back to a shop.
I am 80 years old, so not drive and could not even pick the microwave up - there is no way I could return to a shop!
Would not have bought if I thought there was no way to return ,

“My elderly mother placed an order for garden furniture on their website. It was an error on her part as she thought she was ordering from somewhere else but the Robert Dyas website was what popped up when she googled the other company (neverhtless her error not RD). Payment was taken immediately but she was then advised it would take two months to arrive. When it arrived it was far too large and clunky and in accordance with Robert Dyas refudn policy we immediately requested a return/refund. Whilst the return authorisation was confirmed immediately it took a number of weeks of chasing before the furniture was finally picked up. Six weeks after pick-up we are still waiting for a refund. The customer service section of the website only allows for online/email correspondence which quite frankly is shabby (after some sleuthing I discovered that the number for customer service is 0333 103 6677). Staff on the customer service line are very pleasant but it is clear that this is not a desirable company to deal with, and that without a lot of chasing it seems unlikely a refund will be issues. Don't recommend.”
“Placed order for a Tv , told delivery date would be 8th Sept only to be told a day later that there was a 14 day delay on this item. When I said I would cancel the order that day, was then told it would be another 3 working days for the supplier to confirm I could cancel , then another 3-5 working days for funds to go back into my acc. So all in all , through no fault of my own , it’s going to take around 2 weeks to get my money back before I can go out & look for another tv from a more reliable company. Compensation for the delay - a 10% discount voucher to spend on my next purchase - not likely. Ps Robert Dyas - do not put delivery dates on purchases if you know the supplier doesn’t have the stock.”
“DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a 700 pound pergola, delivery day came and went. Left numerous messages with the company, not answered. Managed to speak with Customer Services (through ringing one of their stores and asking for the number). They told me that the problem was with the seller, who I contacted. The order had been cancelled three weeks ago, as Robert Dyas rejected the delivery fee. Lo and behold had a message then from their Customer Service Team to tell be that the order had been cancelled due to it being out of stock. I knew this was a lie. Now awaiting a refund through PayPal, and reading the comments, I am feeling very doubtful this may happen. Feel like I have been lied to and scammed.”

“Bosch garden vacuum delivered very speedily but was faulty, contacted customer services received an acknowledgment and then a date for collection. Waited all day no collection!
Reported this, was given another date, once again no collection.
Reported again, I was told it would be reported to the warehouse, 10 days have passed, nothing heard!
I have now taken the Vacuum back to the nearest shop a round trip of 50 miles!
The staff in the shop were apologetic and refunded us £89.99 that we had paid.
Would steer clear of this company.”
“Ordered 2 items to collect at Store in Banstead, Surrey. Had confirmation e-mail that both items had arrived. Drove there some 10 miles away. Only one item found! Rubbish! So have to now wait for a second e-mail to collect. Why could they not just deliver it at my home?
